  • @3litricthunderkat

Rapping about stupid shit like fuckin bitches, smoking, or how bad ass you are ain't cool. It shows how fake you are.

  • @MangoSpleen

im 18 and I completely agree with you, thunderkat just has no taste in music. :(

  • @MangoSpleen is this serious?

  • Ohh my god.... ohhh my god...

    Excuse me dougie fresh....

  • Reading the comments you would swear all new music is trash. I agree we can't forget about the classics, but there's plenty of good and even amazing music out there if you're willing to look for it. Unless ur happy with being stuck in the past.

  • @ib2raw06 Could you please share the names of some of this music? I'm not trying to be sarcastic, it is just that I have completely stopped buying hip hop because the music has gotten so bad. I believe you that there is good music out there and it is just not getting exposure. It would be great if you shared examples when you are commenting so that these artists can get some exposure.

  • true hip hop, the new generation take on the old example, you forgot the essence of hip hop, the party, the rhyme, the beat, and the positive message, fuck 50 cent and IS commercial music, hip hop is not an industry, it is a philosophy ... weak emcee meditate on it ...

  • @TheASsAs1 The problem is that this generation has NO IDEA what hip hop is. They dont know about grafitti, break dancing, beat boxing, and what it means to grab a mic and be a MC>

  • @macewindu67 yo fuck up im sixteen and our generation deff no wat being a reall mc is havin u smell like S.H.I.T STRAIGHT UP BITCH and i gota mic and my lyrics so deff im noed as speacail thunder kat u walking clit and excusse my languge but ur gramother toled me this so bite down and enjoy sucking on my generations new born ass dick

  • It doesn't get no better than this. I am so glad I was born around this time. Music today is not even alright any more. Thank God for letting great rappers pass music on to remind us of why old school is sometimes better.

  • I'm always on duty!

  • Flashbacks are so amazing. 1985 was the year!!! Thundercats, Robotech, the greatest hip hop of all etc, etc.

  • Uhh...this is the JAMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I remember being in a neighborhood disco in 1985, it was nothing more than an old converted garage. This was one of those unreal places that was tiny on the outside but seemed to get magically larger when you walked inside. The place was packed with people & so full of smoke that I could barely see across the room. As soon as this song started playing all these gorgeous black women hit the dance floor & started shaking their stuff in time with the music. Right then, I knew what "heaven" was.

  • "oh my god'

  • its ashame that Doug E. Fresh is a scientologist lost repsect for him big time hey, why would u do that lol

  • I was about 12 when this song 1st came out.We were in shock cause it sounded like nothing else ever. Went 2 a wedding last nite & this song brought the house down!Almost 30 yrs later we now love this classic.

  • My first rap single, old skool, stiiiiill class.

  • Hands down my favorite rapper of all time Doug E Fresh!!!

  • Here's a joke!

You know how Slick Rick is blind in one eye because his was cut by broken glass as a baby?

Well, I believe that piece of glass was Lil Wayne in disguise because he was mad that Rick was the better rapper, even as a baby. Lil Gayne wanted revenge, and killed hip-hop altogether. Lil Gayne was also jealous Rick is from england and said his words properly and had a cool accent, unlike lil gayne with the accent of a retard.

    joking

  • They don't make rappers like they use to.

  • wow looks like 19 Justin Bieber fans saw this video

  • "I was goin downtown.... WORD Rick...WORD!! lol Kick it

  • wheres the download

  • Ever seen Slick Rick's eye? If you look for a picture, make sure not to do it while eating.

  • @SEHANO - I remember you could see his other eye in his debut single/video "Teenage Love", he is talking to dudes(including Big Daddy Kane, who eventually takes his "teenage love" at the end of the video) and he is wearing seeing/reading glasses and you can see his other eye. You can see what I am talking about because Slick Rick has a VEVO account. So, search "Slick Rick - Teenage Love

  • Who remembers Salt N Pepa's diss song titled "The Show Stoppa" from their 1986 LP/CD titled "Hot, Cool and Vicious" ?? Anyone?

  • @MusicFromRobE - I do. lol Love their debut album.

  • Remember this in the 'hood. Don't like comments about women but this is great...Old school original rap is the best rap. This is creativity when this barely existed, coming out of a crap neighborhood (one way to look at it).
