6:20 onwards. when you think of classic horror that's what you're immediately reminded of. Soundtracks from television shows, cartoons, rides and everything that evoke this period have some variation on this kind of music.

This movie has, not only great music, but some truly SCARY moments. I get "into the mummy thing" when I watch it. And - the sequels don't begin to compare!
@copchik Isn't it amazing how many thrills and chills this film delivers while using so little material? The heavy atmosphere stimulates the imagination. No overblown special effects needed here--and only one shot of the actual mummy walking!
At 4:01 why didn't universal show Karloff in the film at full body grabbing the scroll. You only saw his hand grab it. This was obvioulsy a photo of the scene. Does Universal have that scene or was it lost forever?
btw does any1 know where i can find a longer version of the section that starts at 9:14 and ends ubruptly at 9:26?

anybody know the name of the song the orchestra is playing when Zita Johann makes her first appearance?
mysticmrsam 2 years ago
Woody Allen uses that song in Crimes and Misdameaners but I can't find out who wrote it or the name.

Uncle Boris you are a great Monster.
but Frankenstein(1931) is your great Performance,
and The Mummy(1932) is also a great Performance as well.
