  • btw does any1 know where i can find a longer version of the section that starts at 9:14 and ends ubruptly at 9:26?

  • 6:20 onwards. when you think of classic horror that's what you're immediately reminded of. Soundtracks from television shows, cartoons, rides and everything that evoke this period have some variation on this kind of music.

  • la momie un film de legende j avais 10 ans et je ne pas dormi de la nuit be paris bonjour . et pour tous les allumes de boris karloff mes bonjours aussi je vous adore meme la musique est merveilleusse ..

  • i love how even though most of these films were usually an hour and 15 minz yet scared so many people to death

  • The first photo used to creep me out when i first saw it.

  • clasica pelicula con Boris karloff, asustaban. gracias por mostrarlo

  • old hypnotic horror music... this, wolf man and frankensteins... amazing. and karloff's voice just ''mesmerizes'' you into...

    I actually scared a little bit 4:17 - 4:22

  • isnt there a larger bit of the theme that starts at 9:17?

  • When you think Universal monsters, you think this type of music. What a mood it set.

  • I needed this, thank you so much buddy:)

  • excellent bravo , bravo i love this movie also

    jade

  • good job morgan!

  • I found the song...it is Beautiful Love by Victor Young

  • anybody know the name of the song the orchestra is playing when Zita Johann makes her first appearance?

  • Woody Allen uses that song in Crimes and Misdameaners but I can't find out who wrote it or the name.

  • Uncle Boris you are a great Monster.

but Frankenstein(1931) is your great Performance,

and The Mummy(1932) is also a great Performance as well.

  • This movie has, not only great music, but some truly SCARY moments. I get "into the mummy thing" when I watch it. And - the sequels don't begin to compare!

  • @copchik Isn't it amazing how many thrills and chills this film delivers while using so little material? The heavy atmosphere stimulates the imagination. No overblown special effects needed here--and only one shot of the actual mummy walking!

  • Grande Karloff!!

    with

    Zita Johann!!

  • At 4:01 why didn't universal show Karloff in the film at full body grabbing the scroll. You only saw his hand grab it. This was obvioulsy a photo of the scene. Does Universal have that scene or was it lost forever?
