However, those who are not in very high positions in a company that make more than $250k would have nothing to do with this. Because of this, a tax on intervals of yearly earnings is unfair.

Harvard business school themselves said that lowering capital gains taxes would make 0 net jobs. I guess I don't see the point in prioritizing earnings of over a quarter million dollars a year over the potential job of someone who makes nothing.

This might come as a shock to you but America is not a dictatorship. The President can't start a war and keep funding it for years without the congress, which has been run by democrats. We got rid of Saddam, but we also threw the country into the verge of civil war. while we did that, we let Bin Laden go, we got into trillions of dollars in debt to the Chinese. Pulling money out of the economy and putting it into corporate investment is the same as putting it in the bank in terms of job creation. Harvard business school themselves said that lowering capital gains taxes would make 0 net jobs. Reinvesting earnings would produce more jobs, more people buying goods/services will create higher paying jobs. I guess I don't see the point in prioritizing earnings of over a quarter million dollars a year over the potential job of someone who makes nothing.

John McCain: unpatriotic, unamerican, traitor to the U.S.
John McCain is clueless about major issues that concern all Americans.
This man is a senile dinosaur who lives in the past. McCain has never sent an email...admits to being computer illiterate!
How can he be the President for the 21st century when he has never even sent an email...and worse doesn't even know how?

Jefferson's exact words: "I contemplate with sovereign reverence that act of the whole American people which declared that their legislature should "make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof," thus building a wall of separation between Church & State." He did not state that a president cannot make their decision based of their religion. Presidents do it all the time. And if there were such law, who would know he was doing it?

You should take philosophy class and study natures and moral ethics of us humans and their leaders. Who wants a nation that will sorely rate our success on how much money each of us makes instead of worrying more about our moral character and actions? State and Church separation prohibits enforcing religion. I'm not talking about that. I'm saying that we as a nation shouldn't forget that our nation was and is because of our faith that God would preserve us. Once we forget that, good bye USA.

Yes, it does stop religion being enforced. It also however is in place so that we will not have our country run by someone who only makes their decision based off their religion and "gods will." In the modern age I think you know, as do I, that having morals does not require a belief in god. No matter who is in charge our nation will not forget its founding values because of a document simply entitled: The Constitution of the Untied States of America.

In fact, Obama is in favor of $1,000 tax cuts for middle class Americans.
Now, Obama has talked about letting the Bush tax cuts expire on incomes over $250,000/year.
Maybe if you're the kind of guy who can afford $520 Ferragamo shoes, $250,000/year seems like "middle class."
But for the rest of us, that $1,000 tax cut could sure help with these rising energy and food costs!

McCain stated himself that he knows nothing of economics. Since we are in an era of economic turmoil, I think we need a President who took macroeconomic courses at the University of Chicago. Bush/Cheney responsible for economic turmoil due to the Invasion of Iraq. Look at history. After the Vietnam War, another costly and pointless war, a stagflation occurred in the 70s. If you look at the business cycle, after an era of massive economic output and strain, economic stagflation occurs.

This might come as a shock to you but America is not a dictatorship. The President can't start a war and keep funding it for years without the congress, which has been run by democrats. If innocent dems would not have authorized the war, the evil republicans couldn't have carried it out. As for Osama, I personally believe he's been killed a long time ago while the US military was bombing the caves in Afghanistan. All we've seen is old videotapes of him after that.
