Saw Swell in late 90's in Edinburgh, UK. Bass player came and chatted with us before the gig when we were having a drink - but I didn't know he was the bass player at the time. Only when the band started playing did I realise, hey that's the guy I was having a drink with! He was a really nice guy and down to earth.
Would have loved to have seen them in the early days supporting Mazzy Star! Fantastic band.
