Acctually the real water torture is even worse. Kari got the drops of cold water on her forehead on a fixed interval of 2 seconds. This way the brain sees a pattern. But if the drops were to be dropped on her forehead at random intervals it would be far worse. This is because the brain automatically seeks for a pattern, but if there is none it will eventually drive you crazy and break you mentally. With this technique you can drive the mentally strongest people into madness.
