Personally, I think you're too aggressive - AI opponents in NHL '10 seem to not know how to react to a less aggressive forecheck, you could probably force a dump-in by just playing your position - but not bad overall.

Under GM tracker you need to sign a free agent, he was the first one that came up, so meh took him.

Basically its a whole new manager mode system where you play a more crucial role as the GM. In GM tracker you can veiw your progress as you go through your career, you are set tasks that you must complete to gain points towards building up your level. For example, signing a free agent can get you something like 6 points or sending a scout to canada for 3 weeks to scout for a centre will gain you 9 points. These are just the easy tasks, they become a lot harder as your level increases.

The game is amazing, well at least I think it is, I can't compare to 09 as I didn't get it, first NHL game I have not got in many years. However this is the best one I have played for sometime.

You probably don't pass enough. Work for your shot and don't just throw the puck in front of the net. They really fixed defensive AI in this year's game, so you have to pass around more.

i have a few questions..

1. how do you score (i can score five with the wild on rookie, but move up to pro and i cant score anything.)

2. wheres your board play?

1. Aiming towards the net helps, but seriously, I tend to try and get around the back of the defenders and play across them to a man waiting the other side of the goal.

2. Only board play I need is towards my end of the ice, when I play the puck along the boards to another defender.
