Should still be writing together Albarn couldnt lace youre boots..Mick and Paul thank you for everything in my life thats right The Clash always will be the best band in world....
I'm sorry, but Mick and Paul look silly, stupid and totally out of place here. Check out an old Clash or Caron-Silicone vid and you will see what i mean.
Who know what song that is at the end of the clip? "You are my fantansation, you are my intellect." I tried Shazzam and looking it up by lyrics, nothing. Any ideas?
@nikoguy you are the record company - i sign to you my creative skills - you are the head of EMI - without investment in arms that kill - you are my advance on the western front - you are my publishing deal - you are my publicity stunt
@XxXLeahKennyXxX Yes! More excitingly, Mick has reformed the seminal Big Audio Dynamite with the original members...Don Letts/ Dan Donovan/ Leo Williams/Greg Roberts and are touring the UK in April! Hitting Leeds O2 Academy.......cannot wait! Have met Joe and Paul but not yet Mick.....
@davymgaunt Have met Paul and Joe in Leeds when they were busking and had apint with them. Have also met Joe when he played in Leeds with the Mescaleros. He invited me and my mates to his dressing room after the gig and we sat around talking, smoking spliffs, drinking his beer and listening to heavy dub reggae! Such a profoundly nice man. My all time hero! He even signed a paper plate with the words "To David. Sledgehammer Sound. Love Joe". The best hour of my life!
I got to meet the band after the concert in San Diego. And the lady who helped me take my picture said I one of the guy's autograph I got was one of the most famous punk rockers. I just thought Paul Simonon was just a bassist for the Gorillaz, but I never knew he had so much history behind him. Especially now I know he's the guy who's in the bass smashing picture. Damn, I wonder how much my autograph is worth.
Lol ... I was trying to pick out Paul Simonon, and I recognised him by how low he holds his bass x) And also that famous stance from the cover of London Calling.
Mick 'n' Paul......what could be finer? You, boys, have been my inspiration since I saw you blow the roof off Leeds University refectory alongside Joe (RIP) and Topper in January 1980. Keep rocking!
Mick, you fucking rock! Paul, You inspired me to be a bass player, magnificent seven and London Calling are the first two songs I ever learned how to play!! I doubt you'll ever read this, but keep it up!!
what the heck happened at the end?!? lol

Ummm.... question. If they can't get Del to sing the song then why can't the guest rapper sing the original lyrics?

@JetHawk Someone who recognize the great Paul Simonon as the bass player for Gorillaz doesn't deserve to meet him.
