@sfogfgokjsogjsdfks okay first of all i "can" compare them not on how many songs they've written. and do some research, her mom struggled but she had several decent jobs mariah's childhood was a lil shy of mid-class but she was definitely not poor. she is definitely not nice. obviously she keeps a good image on tour, interviews, and filming but away from the public eye she had more complaints from her staff than any other divas up there with cher. why is a mariah fangirl/boy even here hatin!??!

@DaJokern well she co-wrote them with producers/musicians, but she wrote the lyrics and melodies. Except 'Fantasy' which obviously used a sample. If you suggest otherwise, there is no evidence to support your theory. All her songs have her own style and personality in them, if someone else wrote them you would notice. 3 of the songs on her demo tape became no.1s, she has nothing to prove.

Mariah "wrote" and "produced" all the songs in her second album, Emotions. Mariah even wrote and produced "All I want for Christmas is you" for crying out loud!!! Leona may've co-written some songs on this second album of hers, but she produced nothing. Dude, I'm just stating the facts. =)
