The white chick on the other hand is Kuo. She is seen as the good guy until the very end when she betrays you and the rest of humanity and nearly gets you all killed. So the black chick is good! Wow I remember the first time I beat Infamous 1.... I decided to go the evil way because it looked more fun and badass in the trailers, and, after all, it's a videogame. But as I advanced through the game, I sometimes started to feel bad for being evil... specially when Trish died. But in the ending I realised that I had become everything Kessler didn't want me to be. I really felt bad for it, and few games really can make you feel... Infamous 2 is gonna be awesome
i didnt like playing as a villain in infamous 1 because it was too sad to kill innocent people, and the worst part is, you HAVE to do it if you want to go for the platinum

Is it just me or is that rather boring... I mean, I get that the visual signifiers for karma in the first Infamous were a tad unrealistic, but then again so is shooting electricity out of your blasted fingertips. So I doubt it really matters how outlandishly awesome you make his external transition from neutral to good\evil look.

but when it comes down to playing, dont try for good or bad just play the game and do what ever way seems right. i can't play as a bad guy, if i try i have to put alot of effort into it.
Infamous 2, Uncharted 3, Resistance 3, Twisted Metal....wow i think this is the best year for ps3 so far, and i didnt even mention the games that already came out and NGP

While I don't care for the Xbox, I find it sad that the top two comments aren't "Alright, Cole's back!" or "I can't wait to continue this story!" Seriously, the last game ended on a total mindtrip and a complete cliffhanger, I'd buy this game on release day JUST to see where they're going to go.

So the visual signifier for the nature of Cole's karma is... the colour of his T-shirt?!
Is it just me or is that rather boring... I mean, I get that the visual signifiers for karma in the first Infamous were a tad unrealistic, but then again so is shooting electricity out of your blasted fingertips. So I doubt it really matters how outlandishly awesome you make his external transition from neutral to good\evil look.
I dunno... I can't understand Suckerpunch's thinking here...

@alaness31 not nessesarily better. you will probably be getting diffrent powers than if your a bad guy like they did in the first game. although i have not bought it yet so i'm not positive.
but when it comes down to playing, dont try for good or bad just play the game and do what ever way seems right. i can't play as a bad guy, if i try i have to put alot of effort into it.

John was black and (pretty much) a good guy. You didn't see people getting butthurt over that.
Now we have a black villain and suddenly people are up in arms saying InFamous 2 is "racist". If SuckerPunch made every black person a good guy in their games and never bad, THAT would be racism. But they aren't. They're just being realistic. There's good and bad on both sides. Colour means nothing. Plus, artistically, it works.

@e69alpha PS3 does have better online service than X60, man. I have Nintendo Wii, PS3, and X360. I played on all of them, even online. I know what I'm talking about. And PS3 has a better exclusive library than the 360. And the PS3 has a faster, more smoother streaming community than the 360. Not trying to compete or say you are an idiot. I just wanted to speak that out to ya.

My predictions: (1) Depending on wether you're good or Evil, his electricity will be mixed with fire or ice... and who his new girlfriend is by the end of the story. (2) Zeke is gonna have the main story missions along with both girls, the cool chick will have the good side missions, and the hot bitch will have evil side missions. (3) It's gonna be awesome (4) Red lightning, fire, and Interacial action... nobody will ever find out the good guy ending... unless you ask the people who made it. X^D

While I don't care for the Xbox, I find it sad that the top two comments aren't "Alright, Cole's back!" or "I can't wait to continue this story!" Seriously, the last game ended on a total mindtrip and a complete cliffhanger, I'd buy this game on release day JUST to see where they're going to go.
