  • It says HD Movies and it doesnt have HD :D

  • It used to take talent to do something special.

Is it just me or now all you need is money?

  • What lens are they using at 0:44?

  • @56laxbro Nikon 105mm f2.8 VR macro

  • Those kids should go outside and get themselves a little hello kitty cam.

  • "being creative should not be hard"

    really? LOL.

  • Trochę waży ten sprzęt .

  • Which lens is this at 00:45?

  • Really cool music, what's that?

  • get the d90, this camera is very limiting. especially buying lenses.

  • @AcXr50 Don't buy D90, buy D7000, it's way better

  • @FinlandApollo I do have a d7000!

  • Oh boy! Give me one Nikon D5000 and I'll show you what is creative! It's sad I can't afford a professional camera -.-

  • @JohnThompsonManga Чим сам прочитао твој пост, знао сам да је то рекао наш човек, Балканац ! :D Поздрав из Србије

  • i want one, how much is it?!!

  • too many people mistake creative for talent

  • Taken by children, Photoshopped by adults.

  • i know them! :)

  • haha all those photos taken while they were filmed were done using AUTO mode as every photo that you saw taken was with flash :L

  • um does this camera have a thing where i can plug in a external mic?

  • @FuckManAllGuys tried any other nikon cameras?

thinking about this one or the d3100!

  • Can the nikon D5000 take color selective pictures? So you take a black and white picture and see the apples green?

  • @iriisje that would be the d5100

  • @iriisje

You can do that by yourself, when you take the photo and then hop your computer and use the program called "Adobe Lightsroom", import your picture and click develop then head on to the colors menu and click black and white. After, that select which colors you want your picture to show and the rest stay black and white. :)

  • being creative is childs play ... so get the little fuckers a lego camera instead.

  • @CEEPMDEE ahahahaha, I agree

  • It's only child's play when you leave the camera in auto mode, other then that, the photographer has to know what their doing to get truly amazing photos.

  • The background is a fast played version of Kaise Mujhe by AR Rahman? watch?v=5O-9P9YcvH8

that's the link. the starting part sounds exactly the same

  • @rvn144 Audiomachine - City Life

  • Yeah, cos I'd give my kids an expensive camera for them to play with at the Beach...

  • Thanks for sharing!

  • what is this lens at 0:45?

  • @baselb80 105MM Micro VR

  • @baselb80 I bet is a AF-S VR Micro-Nikkor 105mm f/2.8G IF-ED but i'm not totaly sure..!

  • i bought my nikon d3100 yesderday (first dslr)

  • che pubblicità del cazzo, ma quando mai un fotografo tocca una reflex con mani bagnate egioca in mezzo alla sabbia...che roba triste

  • anyone know if you can film with the flash on?

  • @clairefilms

Nope.... The flash can only be used for pictures

  • Yet, a good camera is better photographer than most "creative people" out there.

  • To Nikon, it's not about being creative, it's about taking more and more pictures and video. Digital cameras remove the uncertainty and difficulty film presents to the amature. A novice with a digital can take 100 pictures and two or three will be very good. A professional will take ten or twenty and two or three will be very very good. That is the advantage of any digital camera.

  • A few days ago, i went to a dinner party. The hostess greeted me and said, “You take wonderful pictures! You must have a nice camera!” I said nothing until i finished eating, then said, ”The food was wonderful, you must have a nice stove”

  • @xEpicEmma Good gods, you rock! What a perfect response :)

  • @xEpicEmma Haha love your comment. Actual photographers doesn't ask each other what camera they use. Instead they ask where was it taken and what lens did you use :)

  • so this is for children?

  • cool pics, ,,,hey could any1 help me with the fuji finepix s1900??? what r the disadvantages and advantages, would u reccomend it, can i do panoramic shots and motion blur and macro and time exposre shots>? (i dont know much about cameras thats y im asking so many questions) or should i save up abit more and get the canon 1000d?

  • the fact that this is only in 360p is appalling. honestly if you are advertising a high quality product the video should be 720p minimum

  • @terminatorgir agreed, considering one of the d5000 selling points is its 720p video.

  • very subjective topic..

  • does anybody know what lens is used at 0:45

  • Did you tell them that they need to MANUALLY focus while taking video? My guess is not.

  • Yeah right!!!... and if you buy a ferrari your going to become michael schumacher!!!

  • An 8 year old most likely does not know how to use that camera... for example they were in a beach. So the kid says "I have a good idea, we take off that cylinder thing and fill the other part with sand!" lol

  • this or the Canon EOS 500D?

  • Pedophilia

  • Very Bad Advertise When Using Child Play !

  • i wanna buy, is still good? i dont want canon

  • Being creative, depends on the mind not on the instrument!

  • Is this better than the 7d canon.?? let me know please first time buying a high edge camera and i want the best in video.photos and in low light places

  • @calikalinfo I wouldnt say its better than the Canon, look up reviews, compare them and then make your choice. 7d is much more expensive, about $600 more expensive. Still, the d5000 is a GREAT dslr. Not much can beat a Canon though.

  • @calikalinfo I'am doing reviews. That is WHY i asked WHICH is better. I didnt SAY it was better.? But thanks & yea im already saving up to get the 7D. & spend more money on lens too. It's a beautiful camera :] AGain thanks for sharing your info with me

  • Creativity is for Everyone who want's Art's ETC. haha I really hate this Video!

  • I'm pretty sure I would never let a kid "play" with my 800+ euro camera >_<

  • how much does it cost please reply

  • @TheHalo2oo about $600

  • @TheHalo2oo costo has a VERY GOOD kit on sale right now til Jan 10th for $830 with tax!! I just got it today =]]

  • canon all the way

  • @BryceThwaitsFilms Leave. Now.

  • Looks like some of the beaches in Sydney. I think its more than one place though.

  • where is this place? and the name? someone knows it?

  • with witch program is this video made

  • Dad i broke your lens, am i a professional now ?

  • Does the camera have a microphone in it?

  • @sobizarreshots yeah

  • @sobizarreshots yeah but not external

  • @sobizarreshots yes.

  • Taken by children, with Nikons latest technology and high end expensive lenses alongside camera professionals.

    For instance:

    0:43 NIKON AF-S DX 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR... About $1,000au

    0:45 Nikon AF-S 105mm f/2.8G Macro... About $1,300au

0:51 Nikon AF 10.5mm f/2.8G ED DX Fisheye... About $1,100au

You can't fool a photographer with "Childs play" when you are using high end lighting + lenses which dreams are made of. Also focusing from 1 subject to another the fast and accurate is pro level..

  • what song's music is this?

  • @151aaaa its an indian song... "kaise mujhe tum mil gaye"... from movie "gajini"

  • what song's music is this?

  • Wow. None of the lenses shown were the kit lens. $400 18-105mm, $1000 105mm micro, and $750 10.5mm fisheye. Clearly, there's something more than the back half of the camera to consider here.

  • I HAVE ONE , AND IS SO HARD TO USE

  • this cam is for kids lol i should of got the d90 instead

  • @rimind1 or a d 300

  • That video was just awful. Everything moved way too fast. Besides anyone can put a camera on auto. Give it to someone in there 80's, they have less creativity and problem solving techniques than children do.

  • @thephotoperson haha, auto is for n00b's am i right?

i use the new olympus pen, its kinda limited but its pretty impressive, unless your using auto, it really fucks you up unless its a nice sunny day.

  • @echofromsomewere1 you right man the camera is the second thing u need to be a artist. I actually won a photography contest with a camera phone, and almost everyone had this camera.

  • what do u think,is this better than the nikon d3100?

  • @NAGULNR2

If you want optimum results to your question, sign up for a photo forum or something.

  • Allot of peoples can take good photos but only an artist can take a amazing photo.

  • @Echofromsomewere1 photographers dont take pictures they make pictures

  • @Echofromsomewere1

As I like to say, anybody can capture a photo but it takes a true artist photographer to capture a memory.

  • An expensive camera won't give u creativity, it will only make it easyer to transform your creativity into a photo. Creativity is in the photographer not in the camera.

  • @Echofromsomewere1 True True True, But Nikon knows that too, they just want more people to buy their product. So they lie

  • @Echofromsomewere1 yeah, good point. i find myself taking photos with my mobile phone more and more despite having a dslr, and notice a massive improvement in just about anything that makes a photo interesting.

  • @Echofromsomewere1 exactly you can have a superb camera but of what use is it if you dont have a good phtographic eye as it were and that takes time

  • It does take a little effort to get good shots, but I'm glad cameras like these get people who don't look like the stereotypical photographer using cameras and giving creativity a try, I use my (d3000) just for fun and every time I go out to events to take photos you see mostly old guys with all the heavy equipment "professionals", but more and more women are getting out there and some of them are young like me, or like the kids in this ad

  • Photogrophy is one of the many forms of art and it's equally hard to painting or sculpting... surely no childs play.

  • PERFECT!

  • anyone can get a $800 dslr and put it on auto quite frankly.

  • great background score where did u get it frm?

  • hi, what type of lens are they using? are there any cheaper alternative for that lens?? cause its look expensive.

    thanks.

  • гавно фотик, детская игрушка ....

  • you seriously let the kids run around with a d5000!? & @sirajrizvi is right!

  • hey guzarishhhhhh

  • did the kids do the editing too?

  • Like they know shutter speed or apreture!

    its all auto !

this is bad for nikon company

don't do vids again :) plz

  • yeah no hold on, were they using manual or auto mode? :P because that makes a huge difference!

  • the tune is good , its from Hindi movie Ghajini - ar rahman

  • Why would a child even have this camera?

  • @kikimckenzie just to hold it for sometime and then dad can take it back :)

  • Can I take good quality pictures with an 18-55 mm lens?

Sorry I have yet to discover my camera

  • @Kyasuriin666 yes you can. tahts an amazing lens considering its a low-budget lens

  • @Kyasuriin666 yes you can, i have the same camera and lens and up to now it's working out perfectly fine, however for action shots and distant landscape shots a tele lens would be great.

  • $400 Brand New Nikon D5000 at

    alibaba.com/product-free/111734456/D5000.html

  • The kid at 0:42 is holding it wrong...

  • @Ishcoa thats wat she said

  • @Ishcoa O:42 or O:44 ?

  • @Ishcoa ya so was your grip the first time you held a camera, give 'em a break.

  • @Airsoftguy1313

I guess, but you would think that they would've taught them how to hold it, especially for a promotional video.

  • @Ishcoa Well, you've got me there...

  • @Ishcoa There are no strict rules in photography so you can hold your camera any way you like.

  • @Ishcoa - Steve Jobs

  • @Ishcoa i dont see anything wrong with the way he's holding it

  • @Ishcoa its a kid.. wow

  • @Ishcoa No he's not, he's just zooming in lol. Plus, he's a kid, the camera is heavy & the lens is big, so to be still, he probably holds it by the lens.

  • @Ericrules7

I remember the first time that I picked up a camera, I was twelve years old. I've never held it like that!

  • @Ishcoa He was holding it like that because he was zooming in. I'm sure he doesn't actually take pictures that way.

  • This will be my first camera ever. All I have to do is get Principal's Honors and I'm set. (:

  • I love childs play.

  • when you say its "child play" you insult the camera and professional photographers. Its not that simple of a camera.

  • @sirajrizvi you're taking things a bit too serious

  • @MadWatchStudios spot on mate, I agree, he/she is!

  • @sirajrizvi taking good pictures these days is actually childs play. However there is more to being a good photographer than just taking a picture. Composition, planning, light setting. But you dont need any of that just to take a good picture. A child using cameras like the Nikon D5000 can easily take amazing pictures.

There is no insult here at all, in my opinion.

  • Comment removed

  • @mikelndqvist I agree with what you just said but they are making it sound like its point-and-shoot camera when it isn't. Taking good pictures is different from taking a professional picture. There is good picture and then there is good and quality picture for presentation purposes. DSLRS are all about applying the right usage of: ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed and I am sure these kids dont kow how to use these three major fundamental of photography. Kids are using it as if it is Child's play.

  • @sirajrizvi He's not insulting the camera in any way. He is saying that the camera is set up so well that it makes it easier to take amazing shots.

  • @blbers9715: I know what you mean and I get that part and I didnt mean anything in an absolute sense to offend anyone. There is no need for any justification lol. I mean its just a damn camera or an advertisement. I just thought that there has got to be a better or an alternative method/strategy to make a point. At least not with kids running around with $700 sophisticated machine that requires care and skills, thats all I meant, seriously! lol. I am not heart broken or too serious over that ad.

  • @sirajrizvi I see what you are saying. I wasn't offended by you either. I wanted to make sure this guy wasn't taking a ton of heat for good intentions.

  • @sirajrizvi lmao I was thinking the same thing!! I have this camera.

  • @sirajrizvi no, it's not a professional camera.

  • @sirajrizvi I think your taking it all wrong, what he is saying is being creative is childs play, but the camera is the tool or bridge if you will to being creative, also calling something simple isn't necessarily an insult, if I called duct tape simple it's because it is, but it's also very useful and effective just like this camera.

  • @sirajrizvi, well, to be honest, they're not saying the camera is easy to use or is it easy to get good shots. They say 'being creative is child's play." They repeated this point to make it key that being creative is the easy part. However, misleading, I know.

  • @sirajrizvi Ten minutes to learn. but a lifetime to master.

A 5 year old can point and shoot this camera, but a pro can use it to its full extent.

  • @sirajrizvi im a child and i actually pay attention to aperature and shutter speed

  • @sirajrizvi Not really, creativity is the easy part. It's getting it technically perfect which is what sets professionals aside.

  • @sirajrizvi We're so pretentious xD

  • @sirajrizvi you've obviously haven't been to a social network, were being a photographer is as simple as pushing the macro button, and taking a picture of some plant, and editing it, to look like a desaturated Polaroid. I see what you're saying though.

  • @sirajrizvi How is he insulting the camera and professional photographers? He said "with the nikon d5000 being creative is child's play" He didnt say this camera is child's play nor did he say it IS a simple camera, you should really pay attention to details. Cant believe 150 people agree with you.

  • @Dav1dwuzhere: u pay attention to the detail so much that you lose the implication of the sentence lol. Don't take it to your heart its no big deal. I just think its a bad strategic advert.

  • @sirajrizvi I agree, it's like everybody can use this camera if it is on automatic mode, but, the "magic" of the photo isn't that, there are a lot of things that children can't do, almost anything.

  • @sirajrizvi First its an entry level dslr so professional photographers wouldnt use it. Second ive used one and it is pretty easy to use.

  • Great video. I think I'm going to buy this.

  • @funtimewithdae we have the same birthday!!! And I'm getting this camera too for my birthday! I already ordered it!

  • this is going to be my first camera!

im getting it for my 15th birthday, which is on the 25th of this month :D

can't wait to get it !

  • even kids can use it...

Grown ups still cant understand how to use it...

  • What's the lens at 0:44?

  • is it good for beginners ?

  • Comment removed

  • Why not upload this in 720 or at least 480, you cant really tell how great the video is, and speaking from experience it does look great. I love my D5000.

  • @DigitalCable Yup! This camera is an entry level DSLR. It's designed for beginners.

  • @DigitalCable is the recall over? I'm worried to buy one. Also i'm worried to buy one becaues I hear it's max is 100,000 shutters? I've never owned a dslr camera but i know they're expensive so i'm worried that it'll only last 100,000 photos

  • it's video? or only a camera for picture?

  • this commercial almost convinced me to go with a canon camera instead... im still deciding though, this or the t1i

  • @FlyingPuma112 good glad to hear it m8

  • @FlyingPuma112 no no prob at all it is meant to be simple for people your age i am 14 and i got the hang of it quickly. after all if u dont understand it immediatley then you can still use auto mode!

  • whats the lense at 0:45 ?

  • Looks pretty flipin' awesome...

  • Things that I dont like about Nikon. Stabilisator build in lens. A bit overpriced.

    Everything else is awesome.
