  • my experience.

i have owned 2 eeepc's 1 aspire one. and now the lenovo s10. the video or pics dont do it as much justice as it looks in person. it is a traditional looking laptop and not a fingerprint whore. the design is so professional and sleek it beats everyone else by far its very thin and it sits flat vertical to table not like all the other including the samsung. by far best design when i saw it at circuit city i had to buy it and it will be my last netbook! i found my one!

  • I agree it's got that business feel to it, and it is small but it won't get mistaken for a toy like an acer aspire one. It's look is great but the performance is great too.

  • pretty expensive too

  • its cheaper than most laptops, and it will do most of what other laptops will do.

  • strictly not for gaming.

  • Yeah because it doesn't have a cd drive. But I have GTA vice city on mine and it runs smoothly.

  • its too bad Lenovo dont have a 6 cell version....this breaks my deal....so im getting the Samsung nc10 which comes with a 6 cell...though i like the lenovo design better

  • the samsung nc10 is over $75 bucks more. for the same price you can buy a 6 cell for the lenovo.

  • i love the red!

  • Netbook:

    smaller (9-10inch screen)

    lighter (<3.5 pounds)

slower (intel atom instead of dual core)

    cheaper ($400-500)

    no optical drive

  • Can someone explain the difference between a netbook and a laptop.

    Thanks

  • A netbook is a little new generation notebook that is very useful when you're out of your home/office and want to access the web when you're at airports, metro, bus etc... without taking a high weight and you carry it on in your bag, seeing its little dimensions(around 9-10 inches screen) and weight(not more than 4-5 pounds). The price is very cheap too (can be around $350 to $499)A notebook on the contrary is something more complete and specific for certain functions.

  • A notebook can be used at home, office or outside but usually price, weight and dimensions are higher so this depends on the use you do.When you buy a netbook be careful of the hard drive capability and system graphics because if they are too small, you cannot see dvds nor audio cds in a good quality 'cos viewing will be interrupted very often, making you get mad!

  • Thanks a lot billiejean68

  • Sweet!

Lenovo does their shit right. This is the netbook for me!

  • good note!!!!
