I never seen a rabbit that would accept its back legs dangling like that. Best way to handle a meat rabbit is behind the neck and lock the back legs so she can't claw.

acctually, this is a terrible way to hold your rabbit. By doing this too much you can acctually make your rabbit throw up. And on top of that, a rabbits feet should never be hanging because rabbits have a fear of falling and without their feet on something secure, they will freak out and try to jump from your hands ending in a terrible fate of the rabbit breaking or fracturing a bone.

well when i pick up my rabbit i have him upside down cuz apparantly it puts them in a trance and then they dont wriggle its safe though thats how your meant to pick them up not like that cuz then u can tickle its tummy or stroke it at all thats a stupid way

I'm sorry but this is not the correct way. You should always make sure the rabbit is facing you when you pick it up with one hand under the chest, and the other under the rump. This way, if it kicks and trys to jump it cannot leap away from you.

Thank you for this video which showed me that I always did it right. I saw so many vets and breeders here at Germany who picked them up wrong ( picking at neck is common because you the mother did that with the babies they say).I always thought that it can hurt and damage the rabbitt, so I developed my own style and it seems like this pick up method here ^^.
