Its difficult to give in secret in churches because everyone is around you looking at everyone else give. A plate or bucket is passed to everyone. Everyone is usually require to write on the envelopes their names and amounts. Some churches will even go as far as announce what you gave. Christ made it very plain. GIVE IN SECRET.

How many other things if any has he openly done to recieve recognition? I truly believe that the reason the actual car giving was taped was so that all of the judgmental people could see that he was not just speaking it, but that it was indeed his intention to follow through. I would not be surprised if there were more christians that are going to heaven that do not attend any church at all than there are those that go every week, faithfully. I don't doubt that more than half of church-goers are headed to the hotel of flames.
You can worship trhe Lord at home, in your car or with a neighbor. It doesn't matter, as long as you worship and praise Him, live a righteous life, let you light shine for the world to see what goodness he has done in you. Praise God...Amen.

Who said Eddie Long is anyone's leader? He is solely the head Pastor of New Birth. If you are in agreement with his teachings, that's fine, but he is not appointed by God to lead me anywhere. No preacher is perfect, we all fall short. I think your video is correct but lots of people are offended because you do not give Bishop Long credit for ALL the people he has brought to Christ etc. Bishop Long would probably appreciate the correction, he is a wise man.

I give anyone credit for their Godly acts, but in all truth, Bishop Eddie L. Long is a false prophet, a money hungry glutton who preaches a false gosple, he writes books riddled with falsehoods & is NOT a gospel preacher at all. YouTube is filled with videos of him in his pastorial mode. Not ONCE does he preach a gospel message, but will preach the doctrines of "self" all day and here is why:

Did Bishop Long do anything to you personally? I mean, it seems to me that you have some kind of beef with him and this is the only way you can get back at him...Or maybe you are trying to get as many people as you can to not attend his church. Bishop Long isn't going anywhere. And I, along with my family, attend because speaks the word and I go through pure hell Monday thru Saturday, and come Sunday, I don't care about his salary, or what he does with my tithes, I need to hear from GOD.

However, you're absolutely correct & you brought scripture to back it & I honor that. You have caused me to reevaluate the way I do things. Sir, I respect you for "thinking" that you were correct. But as you know that the scripture says "touch not my anointed, and do my prophet no harm". If you are correct, who are we as christians, old or new, to judge, we are all in no worthy position to judge anyone. The only thing you should do is pray for him, not get in god's seat and become SUPREME JUSTICE. Some blessings should be put on display to show people that we don't mind giving to people. You are wrong. One can be judged by their fruits. Two things are absolutely clear, that because of the words Christ, this man created this video and spoke truth. Christ did say that we should give in secret and it is clear that Eddie Long was trying to get recognized because he clearly did not give in secret as commanded. I personally don't give to churches period, but ONLY to people in need, which I do in secret. Its a GREAT part of my ministry and is what we are commanded to do.
Its difficult to give in secret in churches because everyone is around you looking at everyone else give. A plate or bucket is passed to everyone. Everyone is usually require to write on the envelopes their names and amounts. Some churches will even go as far as announce what you gave. Christ made it very plain. GIVE IN SECRET.
