Not saying you're wrong, just that it's an easy conclusion to jump to but is in no way certain. People accuse artists of copying others frequently for that reason, and it's often quite unfair.

I believe The Faint were around before The Killers. I don't think this track is trying to ape someone else's style - it's totally in keeping with The Faint's own style.
