@weroliera TT01 is much easier to drive but RWD cars are more rewarding when you can control them.

@weroliera the tt-01's AWD is better for beginners and when the steering rack is stock, it will tend to understeer but still be fine. The F103 would definitely be harder to control at start since its RWD and takes a little getting use to.

I personally have a TT-01 but is converted to RWD to minimize number of parts and runs 2 battery packs at once. Believe it or not it went 150km/h. Even with the second battery at the rear, RWD cars will always want to fishtail. So I suggest a AWD car forstart

Your son is really good! Only 7, wow. This video caught my attention because I just built my 9 year old son a new TT-01 Nissan GTR, and I'm planning on getting my old F103GT running so we can race. Looks like a pretty even match from what I can see in your video here!

Thanks. It's very fun. But he gets frustrated when he feels he is too far behind to catch up so I have to keep it a close race. I admit, however, sometimes he beats me in a 3 lap race even wehen I do my best.

Yeah. I noticed the F103GT when I was looking for a 2wd touring car. It's the only one I could find! The direct drive is awesome too. The fewer moving parts the better. I need a new spur gear though and I thought about getting a Kimbrough off Tower. Do you know if these will work?
