@skitzkiller My roommate bought one when they first came out. Its pretty sweet, although I thought it would be much brighter than it is (its probably just because green seems so much brighter than blue).
Hi there! This is amazing! Can you please tell me what kind of laser you used and where did you get the prism from? I would love to get them both! Please let me know! Thanks! Marian
You should put the prizm on a small motor thats attached to a spring so it spins and wobbles around. Then mount the laser pointing at the prizm and just sit and watch the show.
I admit, wicked lasers is a bit overpriced, but not much. Their quality is fantastic (I've never had a single problem with any laser from them) and their customer service is second to none. If you want to make sure you get a great laser, and are willing to pay a bit more, then get a wicked laser.
The laser is class IIIb (5-500mw iirc).Anything over 15mw and it would be a good idea to use goggles and CERTAINLY with anything over 50mw, because of reflections off of surfaces and other things. Of course you would not need goggles if you are just pointing the laser out into your yard or into the sky (never point at people/cars/windows/planes etc.) but for anything other than that (burning matches, playing with prisms, pointing at white walls etc.) it would be a good idea to use goggles.
Theres ways to make those usual crappy laser pointers as powerful as the laser you used there.. for a much cheaper price. If only I could remember how..
(The normal crappy $20.00 lasers, I can't remember exactly what it was but it's just a small component and if you break it the laser works as good as this one)
Thats a lot of text in those brackets.. maybe I shouldn't of used them. ¬_¬
Yes, you can make certain brands of lower power laser points much more powerful by adjusting the pot inside the laser (google it). HOWEVER!!! this will DRASTICALLY reduce the lifespan of your laser, even to as low as a few minutes. So it really is pointless.
WATCHING THIS HIGH IS FUCKING AMAZING OMFG

Ummm...if you use a prism, how can you be sure the laser won't get into anyone's eyes?
stevenscottoddballz 3 years ago 4
You can't, but I have laser goggles that stop the beam from hitting my eyes, so I can safely use a prism with them.
techboy10 3 years ago
where did you find a prism like that
CrackSmoker123 4 years ago
To be honest, I found it around my house somewhere a couple of years ago.
