  • I'm 13 and I'm already jumping 8.18m. I know that's not very far, but I don't train or anything! So I might actually use these tips!!

  • Tips: Extend your first and second phases. Don't save it for your third phase. Run with more power!

  • @JoeyLucier0 Hey thanks for the tips man, but check out some of my more recent videos, this was from last year. I am going 46+ now.

  • there's no way thats 43 feet

  • @Xstreemsports It was, and i am going 46+ now.

  • @Xstreemsports Check out my other videos, this is a baaad angle.

  • Get in the weight room strengthen your legs and do lots of plyometrics. Do increase your vertical On Destorm channel to increase speed and your vertical. last year was my sophmore year to i was jumping 42 and a halfs and now i can jump 45ft in tennis shoes. Well train hard and stretch and goodluck making getting a scholarship

  • i jumped 42' 6'' as a sophmore last year keep it up man

  • you doing good for your 6th time(i kno im late lol) but you have to so major work on you 2nd and last phase i mean a lot of work if you wanna do big things in track im a sophomore too and i jump 50ft not trying to be cocky but a lot of work had to be done cause three years ago i as only doing 38ft check my videos out and see for yourself but my 50ft jump isnt there but you can look me up on DyeStat my name is Marquis Dendy

  • nice, sooo how far did you jump

  • 43' 3"

  • yeah I know it sounded like a stupid ? but I didn't know how they do their measuring, and I still don't understand how you jumped 43'3" I'm not making fun just trying to understand, were do they start the count?

  • I the triple jump you jump 3 consecutive times. You take off on one foot, land on the same foot and jump again, land on the opposite foot and jump on last time into the sand pit. You measure from a board that is level with the track, You have to jump at or behind the board for the jump to count. So ya they measure from the board, to the closest mark in the sand.

  • oh okay man, sorry about the confusion

  • Five Stars!!
