  • Back in the early 1970s, I rode with a guy who looked a lot like Bear. His lady looked a bit like Michele Philips. Long time gone.

  • We could use these very words today!

  • @lauralee2414

    How true....

  • Wow !!

  • just simple and good music and look how cool these dudes are!!

  • Great biker band along with Steppenwolf and Allman bros RIDE ON BROTHERS!!!!!!!

  • To cool. They were the first concert I went to. Them and Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. What a show what a night. Good memories indeed.

  • Gotta love that hair!!!!!

  • Superb.Bring back these times Please.

  • Fabulous, My hubby adored Canned Heat, and i lost him to cancer at 55. Wow you are mahoooosive here in the UK

  • You got love this primitive Rock n blues music. John Lee Hooker loved 'em ... So do I!!!!

  • A classic! I saw Canned Heat a couple of times in the late sixties - happy days!

  • "Make someone happy; make someone smile. Let's all work together and make life worthwhile."

There was a moment of our history where most of the songs were about working together. Thought for that time maybe we had reached the age of Aquarius. Unfortunately it just ain't so just yet . . .

  • Love Da Bear!

  • ABSOLUTE CLASSIC!

  • is anyone actually working together? The occupy movement was a failure...

  • @SiXandLess ya...great measure of working together. Please.

  • Great song but I HATE LIP SYNCING!!!! Some bands refused to lip sync. I couldnt do it!!!

  • Might not get any cooler than this....

  • This is the only way to start off the new year!

  • This is great I love it. Happy new year.

  • 1969,,,and we still have hopes,,,,what a sad world we live in,,,dream on,,2012

  • why;s bear going up and touching his volume knobs lol i mean i know why but id be like buzz off man

  • @GEMINISTWIN1 well thats your opinion

  • @gabjw you meant the 40s or 50s. If you were born in the 60s you would have been too young to appreciate it as you'd liked to have done.

  • miming

  • harley davidson and marlboro man fight scene.. XD

    awesome..

why this guys always make some "pub fight" like song? XD..

    love them..

  • WOW can't believe I found this!!

  • Man, I saw them.

  • YES and Alan Wilson DID NOT commit suicide.

It was a big bad mistake easy to do with barbiturates

  • i hate how even in these days the music and vocals had to prerecorded for tv

  • this is a reason ive allways wanted to be born in the 60

  • 136 people know what good music is :)

  • Love ya Bear!

  • LIKE I'VE ALWAYS SAID FOR YEARS.....IF YOU CAN'T STAND THE HEAT......STAY OUT OF THE CAN!

  • Is this the original song? Did canned heat do it first?

  • @DavidJF123 : no, it was originally by wilbert harrison

  • @DavidJF123 Roxy Music's Bryan Ferry did their version in '76 titled "Lets Stick Together"

  • remember my older sister buying the single of this in 69 loved it then aged 10!

  • 5 star

  • @rockatophat you better be a chick!

  • Alan 'Blind Owl' Wilson struggled with mental problems (?bipolar disorder?) for most of his career and in every Canned Heat video I have seen Blind Owl is very restrained, varying from stationary and workmanlike to catatonic.

This is a very rare video showing Wilson enjoying himself on stage, playing loose and relaxed, and it shows in his guitar playing. His extraordinary guitar virtuosity is in full display here and he makes it look effortless.

    R.I.P Blind Owl.

  • @dlphcoracl They are miming.Alan hasn't got his bottle neck slide on his finger and he is not plugged in.He didn't have Bi polar but suffered from anxiety and depression and more than likely had ASD

  • @dlphcoracl this might be due to the fact that the music is not live actually. His guitar isn't even plugged in ;)

  • The Owl was having fun and finger picking like a pro

  • RIP, Hite and Wilson.

  • the bear was such a kind man, he always made time for everyone and all his fans..

  • @aviatorairman2000 I wonder what he and alan would be like today. RIP Bear and Blind Owl
