@dukspty Hey :) i found a solution !! go to google and search How to Perform a Clean Uninstall/Reinstall of BlackBerry Desktop Software... you should click the one from blackberry forums.. follow that procedure and reinstall it should display pin:unknown after :)

@mubzy0vali Uhm, don't connect your blackberry yet and remove the battery. If you are finish. Try connecting your blackberry without the battery and it should work. :)

Can i PLEASE get some help !! Idk if my blackberry 8900 is nuked or not but it doesnt turn on even when i hold the power button but when i plug it in to a usb or wall the red led turns on for a couple of seconds and then it goes to a white screen with a battery indicator that doesnt move. I would keep it there for hours and it will still not turn on. Can i please get some help !!!

hey windowbooster, my blackberry 9530s light blinks red the, it starts loading and sudenly restarts the procces over and over again, i tried what you did in you video but when i run the application loader it recieves an error, and tryes to reconnect to the JVM, i think its cause the blackberry keeps dcing and connceting from the pc, do you know how to fix this problem ?

My Vibrant broke recently so I had to go back to using my old Blackberry. It was working fine until I went and updated to 5.0. I was using my phone yesterday and the power suddenly cut out and it wouldn't boot passed the white T-mobile screen. So after trying everything else I tried this and it worked!

Just a word of advice - if you run into the problem of the app loader not connecting, keeping doing the ctrl+alt+del reboot to force it forward. It may take a few tries bit it'll work.

@TheShibukai I dunno if you solved your problem or not. I ran into the same deal. It kept freezing up at the Initialization phase. What I did was the ctrl+alt+del reboot (left alt, right caps, del key at the same time) to force it forward. It'll mess up a few times after that first reboot but it'll reconnect and continue. If it freezes again just repeat and it will force it forward. Worked for me anyways.

I get this messsage after I connect my BB to the computer

Note my blackberry is a 8300 and it just one day decide to not come on, my LED doesn't work but It does connect to the PC. The message I got was:

"The Blackberry Desktop Software does not have Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator."

I tried to reboot my blackberry after installing an App, and it stays stock to that first white screen with the waiting symbol in the middle when it tries to boot. When that happens the only thing i can do really is remove the battery. If i put it back it try to boot on it's own and stays stock again. I tried to Load an OS just like he did in this video, but because my phone never actually boot the computer cant read it, and nothing appears at step 0:47, Is there something else i can try ?

@jdawggey When you go in the apploader folder u gota scroll down and delete the vendor file. i had the same problem and thats what i was missing all along.
