it's good to have this channel doing to tutorial on dreamweaver cs4. The one that bucky did a while back was based on cs3, and for people who're using cs4, it's very hard to follow because many of the functions he said doesn't appear cs4

Dreamweaver is a professional way of making websites. Much more than a text editor or say iWeb. Just about every website you see is made with dreamweaver. Adobe sometimes name their products quite randomly (like Fireworks) so I understand why you might not be sue. But basically all sites like BBC, CNN are all made on Dreamweaver.

yeah dreamweaver is good.. but not to start with if you're totally new to HTML CSS or javascript you don't learn the codes, which to my opinion.. is quite important.

Yeah I agree, there is no point in just rushing into dreamweaver without knowing html, css or javascript. They are pretty easy languages (except maybe javascript) to learn and are worth at least knowing how they work

@emo4elmo dreamweaver is easy to learn but the things that dreamweave is used to edit can be more difficult. once you start doing things like connecting to databases and using ajax and things like that it get's a bit more complicated.
