I'd love to buy this tablet, but I think its an unwise decision because it would be my first tablet, and also I'm not a professional. I've been thinking of getting an Intuos4 Medium but I'm sketched about all the stories Ive read about the nibs wearing down.
im getting the small one but i want to know, is it really similar to drawing on paper because i had a bamboo but i couldn't draw shit and i think it was because of the no hand-eye thing but yeah im super exited for getting a cintiq!!!! XD gunna draw so much that time will stand still for me and everyone will age haha!!!!
Do you know how freakin bad I want one of these? My art would be amazing....i can't do it now, my art is just plain and I vector now and then, but I want MY creations to come alive. It's so hard to do that when you can't try different things then erase them simply, vectoring is hard when you have to use a mouse instead of pen....so amazing!!!
exactly, its not impossible to make that kind of money. i mean if you really want it, don't go off and buy crap you don't need. its not like it'll take years to make 2500 bucks, if thats the case then you shouldn't be aspiring to get one.
Well, seeing as you're supposed to work at most 200% larger than your final print then I guess it is 1500x1500, probably at 300dpi/pixels per inch. Hmm that helps, thanks.
$2000..but yeah from what I've seen worth every penny...you could get the Cintiq 12 which is $1000 but why get a Lexus when you can hold out for a Bentley? lol
I don't see my original comment, so I honestly cannot discuss your comment. But I now own a Cintiq 21UX and I love it. I prefer the larger screen as well.
@Sooper1337 Yeah...I love my Bentley...err...Cintiq 21 but I bought it less than a year ago and just came out with a new model...grrr...shoulda saw that coming. In any case it's still a Cintiq and in great shape....still...touchstrips on the back were a great idea...my arm is always brushing them zooming me out or making my brushes HUGE lol.
LOVE THE EYES. Im getting a smaller one. What software is that? its really nice how you change the shading and color it in using invisible lines. THATS VERY COOL!
The lines aren't invisible, he's just using the lasso tool and the fill option. Because the screen is rather far, and the lines are constantly flashing, it's rather hard to see them on an internet video, but they're there. ;)
I wanted to know what is the name of the program that you use and how do you so traits crayon paper did not see how you are doing and to skip the color.
I now have a whole new appreciation for how much effort goes into a single comic, especially after seeing the drawing vid too. You've totally outdone yourself.
Ohh, shiny! I just started practicing coloring on a PC since I've always been doing everything by hand. Looks very impressive, that screen thingie there must make it that much easier tho. O.o *hates magic wand sometimes*
shit hawk. you've outdone yourself. awesome comic and awesome vid. Oh and for the rest of us that don't have a spare $2500 laying around screw you lol.
I would assume it's not that terribly bad with a cintiq. His speed seems less then the inking video from before i assume this one is only 2x speed, instead of 4x speed.
Have you ever used Manga Studio for comic strips?

@DanGogh all nibs wear down anyhow, I've got an intuos4 medium and haven't even finished 1 nib, I've had it for almost 2 years and draw a lot XD

I own a 12wx, and its exactly the same quality as the 21 cintiq you see here, its only bigger.
So its not really treu what you are saying, I do agree both of them are worth every penny though.

ra2yuri4 4 years ago
it's a wacom cintiq 12UX, in my honest opinion though the 12WX is better (and cheaper)
willobeen 4 years ago
Wacom Cintiq 21UX.. and the most likely reason he isnt using the 12WX is that the latter is ofcourse a lot smaller.
nanomage 3 years ago
theres no lag in the 12WX, and your able to reach your keyboard.
