  • This is an awesome tune! I recognize it from Eluveitie!

  • Great music beautifully played! It would go well on the pipes also but would not be easy to play! Thanks for posting.

  • I think this song is from Country of Vannes in brittany france, oh well it sounds irish though. And good work guys, that was awesome either way

  • Your dixon flute is pvc or the abs material quality good blows?

  • Where did you get the sheet music for the flute part? I can't find it anywhere.

    Em - D -G - C - D

    In my opinion

  • great performance !! *****

  • bien joué les gar!

  • It's not Carlos Núñez's song, but a Breton folk song. Great performance!

  • awesome :)

  • great

  • well learned but I have to say I enjoyed your version much more and you're much cooler to watch I found Mr Nunez's prancing around highly irritating and had to switch him off..

You guys are well better.... P. ;9)

  • @paulflute he plays recorder thats the reason

  • what kind of flute you play?

    Contragulations from Galiza!

  • Really fine !

Just a bit slow for an andro, like Carlos played it, in fact, but very awesome !

  • Hi, is there a chance to send me the score for guitare as is it played in the video (not the melody but the Harmony&Rhythm). If you have some midi files too it will be great. Thanks a lot. Agathe from Brittany

  • Hi, sorry but I don't have it. My brother made it all up, you can ask him. Do you know anything about this tune? What's An Dro? Is this traditional from Brittany?

  • Can you give me your brother's e-mail address, please ? An dro means " around " St Patrick because the title is " St Patrick's An dro ". I think this is traditional from Brittany. You can find videos of this tune searching " Carlos Nunez ".

  • Just another question : are you English ? Because I'm french and, iven if I speak a little bit english, it isn't very easy for me to write in English. I don't want to make too mistakes ^^'

  • @UsHhii Spanish

  • An Andro is a traditional breton dance. A lot of people form a line just grapping theyr neighbours pinky finger. You "hook" in so to say. normaly you do 2 steps to your right and than one step where you swing your arms.

Check out my andro video if you like. I will try the calro nunez version later on toay and tomorrow

  • @TinWhistler Yes I know something, An dro is a typical dance in Brittany, you can look it up. It is also played much in Flanders (Belgium) when there is a boombal.

    Anyways, nice version!

  • @TinWhistler

    Traditional Breton dance tune

An Dro or En dro (Breton for "the turn") is a Breton folk dance in 2/4.

  • I love it mate +_+

  • PJ, what do you know about the origin of this tune? Carlos Nunez says it's from Britanny, but it's original (?) title is As covas do rei Cintolo, and the caves of King Cintolo are in Galicia. So I'm confused, cause it sounds like a Breton tune.

  • I don't know... sorry.

  • For what i know, this tune it's called St. Patrick's An Dro. An Dro it's a kind of traditional music and dance from Britanny. Check it by Brana Keterna, they made a very original version.

  • @mrjohnnydoe The diference is...this tune originaly is called "an dro" which is from Britanny, what CN plays is a little diferent its not actually this one, this is just An dro, CN plays one with the first part as "an dro" then he continues with a diferent tune...so sumarizing this song is not "caves of King cintolo" but simply "An dro"...If you want caves of king cintolo try searching it here on youtube when CN is playing live...hope it helps

  • Outstanding job-I have to learn this tune for my flute. It's St. Patrick's An Dro right?

  • bon bon bon ... nan excellent ;-)

  • Breizh atao! I love this song (and the dance, too!)

  • what guitar chords are he using here, I wanna try myself.

  • hehe trying to learn to play this only makes me appreciate how subtle your playing works with the ornamentation and breath control. Thanks for the inspiration to try n play better!

  • seriously when are you making a cd? I want one lol

  • good song. what are the chords for the guitar???

  • me encanto mucho esa cancion, la toceis bien!

  • Nice haircuts, boys. My favorite is still the tin whistle + sofa :) Are you going on tour soon?

  • Just as the genuine Breton music is: simple, regular, lively. You did it!

  • What's the song about?

  • This may be your best. The guitar adds a bit more emotion than most furniture.

  • ooo.. thats a good book! sad though

  • Great!!

  • Just as amazing as ever, I'm still working to get rid of the breathiness of my flute. I think that song is on a cd I have with the Riverdancew and some ITM.

  • Love this tune, tried to find it in the Session Tunes site, but although they've got An Dro (The Wren), the notation is not what you are playing... where can I find the sheet music to this tune? Nice job as usual! Great to see more of your videos!

  • This is mind-blowing! You and your brother have a real nack for music!!

  • You're on my top lists of pipers!!!!

    good job!

  • Great job boys.

I love listing to your music.

    Keep em coming.

    Scotty

  • Nice work!

  • That flute sounds a bit too breathy to be a black-wood. What is it?...Cocous wood?

  • It's not wood but polymer, a cheap plastic flute... but I guess that's not an excuse, I have to practice more.

  • That's cool. I made my own first low D whistle out of plastic conduit. It's still my favourite. Keep your videos coming. You Guys have a load of tallent there.
