There was one time I closed my eyes and lay down for a Salvia trip...

I felt tactile sensations that extended beyond my body, shaped like the ripple-lights on the bottom of a pool of water, constantly churning and rippling, as if the air around me was a part of me.

I hope you learn to get over your fear! Personally I'm afraid to take psychedelics in the first place, eyes closed or not. Always afraid to let go of the current me, and control of my mind.
