Hey. I have an open mind. Ready, Steady, Go would have been my pick; but this is very "catchy" and it fits the night life very well. Nice imagination and great pick of music. Bravo for creativity.
does anyone know the music that played when the detective first shows up (at the apartment complex first murder)? Very Michael Mann, everyone has a theme.
hahah wow, this is real good man! I didn't realize it was completely remade soundwise until pretty late when the dialogues came in. I got actually a little suspicious when the music came on, I thought "I don't remember that music being in the movie". But real good job man, are you the same guy/guys that made that sound remake of mission impossible 3?
I love this movie , I think Michael Mann created the most realistic hitman in this movie. I hope he will make another movie about Vincent character ( about his history, training , etc... ).
What a good damn job you did!!!. Congrats!..., besides.., this is a really nice movie. Did you know that Tom Cruise took 3 months of practical defense shooting training to move and act like a real pro?.
Damn fine job on the sound editing man. That must have been an end of term assignment eh? I wish in film school we had a project as cool as this! I always loved this film too...think it's totally underrated. My only beef in your vid is the voice overs, they take away a bit from the overall effect but seriously man fine job. Props.
You did an awesome job re-editing this scene, DeanCrumlish. I had to do the ole' re-edit thing too for my sound class, wasn't as good as this though, you fooled me for the first 35 seconds.
this must have taken pain staking hours...i can understand can cause ive done things of similar nature..but its f***ing awesome. Good job and Well done...
Dean... Nice Job... Like the way you matched the audio rhytum with the neck break of the first "bad guy." Also, your audio mix is better than the Paul Oakenfold mix.Look forward to your future posts.....
Because maybe I've got this movie on DVD and heard the original sounds... And maybe because the author said this in the description "We had to take an original piece of footage and remove ALL audio, then replace it by ourselves." And he probably replaced the original sounds with Hitman Blood Money Sounds...
this happens a lot because many movies and games use the same palette of dubbed sounds, because people can recognize them easier. there are a few ones that you can hear in almost any action movie at least one, often because the action isn't satisfactory loud enough to capture the right sfx. If you watch some john woo movies, they recycle many of their gunshot effects.
OK, someone may poopoo me for saying it but this awesome, really well done, clever! I would have loved to seen the movie with this tune going, the original got on my nerves abit but this works! :)
To the other users that said it is the same song, it isn't. The original song was by Paul Oakland I believe and was also in the movie Swordfish (that was also a fantastic movie).
Heat should stand up to the test of time by the time Aliens come down here and sift through the remnants. As for Miami, in complete agreement. Don`t know if it was Colin gazing in the mirror or what but it fucking annoyed me. Yes, awaiting the next one....probably his best yet I suspect
wow, the club shootout level in Kane & Lynch looks ALOT like this, and i believe Kane is wearing the exact suit Tom Cruis's character is wearing also...great movie, great game
A great movie, but more importantly, the song from this scene (Ready, Steady, Go) is simply amazing... I dont know if it's considered techno, but it is by far the best song of its type!
Ooops! I didn't mean this song... i thought this was the scene with the song "Ready, Steady, Go" but it's not. Sorry Dean Crumlish but check out the song I'm talking about, this isn't the right one, lol!
I just handed it in today. Everyone has scattered off doing last minute work so I don't think many will see it, and the lecturer will see it when the moderator watches it I assume. Cheers again I always thought it would work well, don't ya just love when a plan comes together ;P

At least you included the actual sound from the moofie rather than just superimpose the music track.

1) What was your decision in choosing the music? (Nothing wrong with it)

3) Are you planning to do this to another movie? If so which did you have in mind?
