I would not recommend this camera.  It constantly freezes up and you have to open up the battery cover to reset it.

Did you change the battery settings I know you can choose a couple different settings for batteries. If its a lemon I hope you kept the receipt, I got two of them off of Amazon and have had no problems at all with the L20, good luck.

the secret to getting a good shot is put all settings on auto not easy auto then set your flash to the flash symbol with the human eye symbol to the right of it. All of this crap with people on Amazon and Best Buy giving it bad reviews is because they dont have the camera on the right settings.

what she didn't tell you was WHAT TYPE of batteries along wih it being AA batteries. with digital cameras like these you MUST purchase LITHIUM or ADVANCED LITHIUM AA batteries.

if you buy just any old regular batteries you won't be able to take any more than 20 pictures at a time. the batteries will run dead very quickly!!

I got this camera today, but I'm really dissapointed with the quality of the pictures. You have to really make an effort not to move the camera OR the subject because it looks blurry, even in sports mode, because u can't use flash in that mode.

I don't know maybe I'm the one who's not using it right so if anyone has any tips for me I'd REALLY appreciate it.
