Well, where are you from? I bought my Trainspotting soundtrack #2 in Japan and it has that version. I didn't know this song and I didn't listen to Primal Scream before I bought the soundtrack CD. It's called 'US Single Version'.

It was done as a 12 inch single then re mixed for the Screamadelica Album, don't even think it was a CD single just vinyl. Have you checked out Dirty Hits? Would guess the single is on that but don't quote me.

Yeah this by far best version. There was a double album version of dirty hits, think it's called the extended version or maybe deluxe version. I don't know for definate but that might have this version on. Failing that I think it's an extra track on a Japanese import version of Screamadelica. My mate's got one with a obi on the side and this version's on it.

The thing that blew my mind when i saw this for the first time (when I was 17) (and when I bought Sreamadelica))...was the purity AND the difference from what I expected...this was the early 90's...and I was a JMAC fanatic , and to have Distortion - Bliss turn into Ectasy- Bliss was a crazy (yet fitting) "shift" for me. This track is not unlike the JMAC "Stoned & Dethroned" -just minus the dance beat....It;s classic Bubble Gum pop with sublime harmonies/ simplicity, and well placed "noise"
