  • Only the first 16 seconds were pertinent, why didn't you edit out the average dialogue?

  • @dethmaul because maybe some people want to watch the full cutscene

  • German woman with the name of "gamezpussy" playing Deus Ex....sounds legit.

  • @hellomoto75 ...it is. Want proof?

  • @Gamezpussy No need for "proof" bro

  • @hellomoto75 yeah.. you can't be too sure then

  • this shows u how much technology has devoloped only in a ouple of yearrs :D

  • I love how they literally considered every possible thing you could do in this game, and took it into consideration when recording dialogue. Must of taken an insane amount of time...

  • Its not really a "hidden" dialogue, its just an alternative

  • Somehow all of this stuff on YouTube that is supposed to be hidden is stuff that I remember from my first playthrough in 2000 :P I guess I just have that random playing style.

  • I got this yesterday, I didn't talk to the hostages and this conversation happened :/

  • I played this so much I know it like something I know really well.

  • Human Revolution is nothing like DX1

  • @SpiritMGSS

HR isn't a bad game though, infact its a modern masterpiece, I still much prefer DX1 however.

  • This happened to me on my first playthrough. I talked to the hostages and they got onto the subway with me...yet Paul was still bitching at me for not rescuing them.

  • Comment removed

  • Bestest indeed. Love DX!

  • This dialog also happens if you use Tranquilizer darts to make the terrorists unconscious, i.e. (and you don't make the entire station explode).

  • @maromo1 I don't think so.. that's what I always do and I didn't get this dialogue. Maybe you forgot to talk to the hostages?

  • @maromo1 It happens when the civilians haven't got into the train yet and you travel ahead of them; I used tranqs that part and hid in the vents waiting for them to die and worked great. You can always go back.

  • yeah these little touches really made the game. but nothing beats getting shit for entering the women's bathroom:P happy they also put that in human revolution

  • Thanks for posting.

Any chance of posting the conversation JC has with Manderley if you kill the soldier at the end of the first mission? The 'friendly fire' conversation.

  • stick with the prod.

  • @SuperMegaLoser

    PROD WITH THE PROD!

  • @Bert2DX Beans might be useful.

  • You sir, you are bad in English. Bestest?lol

    good game and good vid

  • @SaabyHun97 First of all, I'm a woman. Then again, I'm German and my English is very good. "Bestest" was written like that intentionally, but I guess irony is not for everyone.

  • @Gamezpussy oh, sorry then.

  • @SaabyHun97: Bad in English? FAIL

  • @chelseagrin88 Wow, I didn't even notice that. What a shame. Here's your op bonus.

  • @Gamezpussy He didn't ask for this.

  • @SaabyHun97 your face is bad english.

  • I did this accidentally because I just left them :P

  • This is NOT an hidden dialogue! It's hidden for those n00bs who can't save Paul

  • @lordvivecjjj this doesn't have anything to do with saving Paul. Shows how pro you are.

  • @Gamezpussy

no, I just got the wrong dialogue... I don't play since 4 years you know....

  • @lordvivecjjj Yeah... no. This conversation happens if you leave even 1 NSF person alive in the train station. That includes if you sneak in through the vents, kill the NSF on the platform but don't shoot down the NSF on the other side of the laser grid (on the stairs).

  • @rsblackrose

    yep, you're right...

  • one more month till Deus Ex 3!

  • Invisible war would have been a decent sequel (not great) if they didn't change that much the gameplay, and if it wasn't for console. The areas were smaller. There were also too many biomods. By the end of the game I had everything maxed and still had 10 black market biomods and 16 normal ones that weren't necessary.

  • On top of that, it was an organic story. It wasn't filled with painfully faked moral quandaries like infamous and fable. It was about giving you a choice with no right answer and allowing you to see how it plays out. Even dues ex (yes the original) fails at this because it abandons this almost completely at a certain point. Its possible such flaws were actually improved in this game.

  • @MrSpikeyPsycho Exactly! That's the main reason why I'm not gonna play Human Revolution. They want to turn it into another generic SciFi series.

  • @Gamezpussy Human Revolution is a prequel, plus many hardcore fans of the original Deus Ex have played the Human Revolution leak and said they were surprised at how accurately it recaptures the feel of the first game.

  • @DeathKill5000Turbo Yeah.. well... everybody is free to play it, but I still won't. It's pointless to try to convince me. ;)

  • @Gamezpussy Right because you have already made up your mind about a game you have never played.

Never played the first one but I can tell by this video that it's complete garbage. Mindless violence peddled to the masses. Don't try to convince me otherwise. Generic Sci Fi child killing garbage.

  • @videosfromderelix Hey, this is my opinion, no need to get annoying. I never played My Pony either, but I know that it's probably a stupid game for kids, right? Sorry I hurt your feelings though, fanboy.

  • @Gamezpussy So it's ok for you to say it but when I do the same thing it makes me a fanboy?

BTW Fanboy is a word made up by people that can't handle the opinions of others. I have never played the game either but I'm not an arrogant moron that judges things based on assumption alone. Not sure what "my pony" is but I wouldn't say it's repetitive Sci Fi trash without doing a little research first. Get me? Of course not.

Love that you claim you hurt my feelings, that's cute.

  • @videosfromderelix So I can't handle the opinion of others? YOU started criticizing my opinion. But as I hate these pointless youtube arguments, I'm just gonna stop it here.

  • @Gamezpussy Right, you hate them that's why you had to get the last word in.

I just hate people that think they have formed an opinion about something they never even gave a chance. It's the reason the first deus ex did so horrible in sales that a good sequel couldn't be made for a while. People like you hated it before playing and then hoped on the wagon when it became a cult classic.

  • @videosfromderelix Okay, I have to admit, they're kind of entertaining...

and no, I actually loved Deus Ex from the first minute I played it. I hadn't even heard of it before so I didn't know anything about it in front.

  • @Gamezpussy Thank you, that's all I'm saying. A little sick of people continuing the debate and then claiming I'm the only one getting anything out of it.

Ok you hadn't heard anything about it (how did you find it then?) but judging by your comments, seems like you would just assume it's another sci fi doomfest. You could be right about the prequel, I'm just saying you have nothing to base your assumptions on.

  • @Gamezpussy ... deus ex, above all else, is about conspiracy. It's taking every paranoid internet theory, and making it reality within this particular fiction. If this isn't brought over to the new one, I would agree with what you say but I would never make that assumption without giving it a chance first.

Personally, I would love to see some of the newer CT brought in, like the lizard man and "reality is an alien run illusion" theories.

  • I bet one of the script writers is Chuck Norris. Most epic one-liners ever seen in Deus Ex!

  • Bros before hoes.....

  • Ignore the graphics and this still remains the greatest game ever made!

  • Mass Effect? Dragon Age? Lol, those games are a joke when it comes to choices and consequences. This is the real fucking deal.

  • @Adriankat Actually, I think both ME and DA are pretty amazing. I still like Deus Ex better, but it's not the only game with big player freedom.

  • @Adriankat mass effect is epic just like deus ex.

  • @2ndOfTheSevenCircles Indeed, it is. Bioware would be a very good candidate if there was ever going to be a Deus Ex Remake.

  • @Gamezpussy Instead, you'll have to settle for the Deus Ex sequel.

  • @Gamezpussy you know, Deus Ex Human Revolution got leaked onto bittorrent

  • @evsystem I don't like piracy...

  • @Gamezpussy Eidos has been encouraging people to play the leak. They turned an unfortunate event into a good chance to get feedback on the game.

  • @Peacemonger1000 I don't even know yet if I'm gonna buy Deus Ex 3, I probably won't. I feel the first game is complete in itself, I don't need a prequel to ruin it.

  • @Gamezpussy You should play the leak dude ^^

  • @evsystem It's not the whole game.

  • @2ndOfTheSevenCircles True. And I never thought a game could amaze me that much lately. :)

  • @Adriankat You should try The Witcher or Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines if you want choices and consequences in a modern RPG.

  • @Adriankat and DX1 is a joke compared to DX 2 in terms of that choices and consequences

  • @Klauspicy Deus EX 2 :Invisible War completely sucks !!!! have you seen weapons in it?? it looks like glowing toys and the size of the weapons is disgusting. We cant type codes.Augmentation Canisters and Upgrade Canisters are same with the name "Biomods".Freedom is a piece of shit compared to Deus EX 1.Corpses in Deus EX 2:Invisible War are like a rubber toys and can be easily pushed here and there with bullets and explosives. There are more than enough biomods which reduce excitement.DX 2=SHIT!!

  • @JCDenton112788

    yea, that's true

  • @Adriankat you didn't see the messages in DX2 and only saw weapons. Why don't you actually play the game and see how detailed each factions and choices are made? Plz don't judge the game only by its weapons. Judge by how many choices and details game gives you. If you actually think and complete the game once, you will not be able to judge it only by its weapons and combat. How sad

  • @Adriankat But those games are good though!

  • @Adriankat true, but no one seems to care

  • @Adriankat I played to Mass Effect, Dragon Age and Deus Ex, and even if I like the three, I 'm disagree with you. Those two games are great and the series are not finished yet, wa can't know if the choices you made will have no consequences in the futur. Furthermore, a lot of choices and dialogues options in ME and DA (Origins at least) have a lot of importance in the events of the game.

  • @Adriankat In Deus Ex (which is also a very good game), the differences are in most cases only differents dialogues on the moment, without influence on the game itself. Of course, there is also important choices (and most of them are hidden, which is a plus in comparaison with ME) but nothing which allow to say that ME and DAO are jokes compared to DE in my opinion.

  • @Adriankat

    True.

An example is that the choices sometimes mean something completely different than you thought it was...

These games don't give you much freedom of choice.

  • @Adriankat Consequences? In Deus Ex? Possibly, but nearly all of them become apparent immediately, In ME or DA you can't see them coming.

  • @MaleficMoose Literally because the consequences are negligible at best. Sure, you'll get different dialogue or emails, but otherwise the game remains barely touched.

  • @Adriankat so THAT's why i constantly compare games like Mass Effect, Borderlands, etc back to DX1. Those games' choices either don't impact or barely impact. DX's choices drastically shape the progression of the game

  • you get the funniest dialogue with you try a speedrun.

  • I did talk to the hostages , i never disabled the booby traps though or incapacitated all the NSF and i got the same dialogue

  • PLAY NAMELESS MOD

  • @JCDentonOO7 I ALREADY HAVE

  • i still play this game. the best role playing game ever

  • it's like they planned for every possible situation the player could think of.... O.o

  • If Deus Ex:Human Revolution is half as good as the original Deus Ex, it will be the 2011 game of the year.

  • @KevinBusomjack

Well how does the saying go? Prepare for the worst while hoping for the best.

  • Hahahahahahaha fantastic I didn't know this!

  • Hidden dialog? This is what he said to me when I played my very first playthrough. So it's nothing new because I'm that jerk who left the hostages xD

  • it's amazing how the game designers took into account the player might just sneak past the terrorists, say "hello, and screw you guys" to the hostages and just go off with the subway.

  • Best game hands down anyone disagrees, well you can go fuck a pigeon

  • jesus christ is there anything you can do to break this game's dialogue?

  • @Chef033 Not really ;)

  • I found something to break the game's dialogue. I killed every UNATCO guard after Lebedev. Manderley didn't say anything about all of the guards mysteriously disapearing.

  • ouch, well, i guess having your dick brake makes you lose interest in playing games

  • Oh shit i never knew about this.

  • Have any of you guys played a game called FREELANCER ? it was made bout same time or before deus ex and its awesome just have to put it out there

  • @Kusari31 I played Starlancer, which is the prequel I think.. that was awesome. ^^ I was so young I didn't understand anything and kept on shooting my friends..

  • Was very young first time I played through freelancer, loved it but my dick broke. itchinging to replay it.

  • @Bananadoom

......I really, really hope you meant to write "disk".....

  • @Gamezpussy his name is Bananadoom so its expected.

  • @JCDenton112788 very well noticed, sir

  • @Bananadoom Sorry for your lots.

  • @Bananadoom sorry to hear about your dick

  • @portal1337 Yeah, we will always remember him. He died as a real hero.

  • @Gamezpussy ROTFLMAO, I LOL'd so hard guys, thanks for that. XD

  • @Bananadoom Ouch that sounds painful

  • @Kusari31 I played it a bit, but the PC controls are really crappy, so I quit. Pity, looked like a good game.

  • I remember pulling this off on the PS2 version. I think in the PS2 version you can go back, and free the hostages. I still think the PC version is the best though. God I love Deus Ex. All this time and still never played part 2. I'll have to get it before part 3 comes out.

  • yeah the dialogues change but you cannot change the game storyline

  • @Mropticalgreen

Well, you can, though it's pretty limited. Still you can decide who lives and who dies and don't forget the different endings.

  • ive been playing this game since i was 8 (im 17 now) and i tell you i had no idea about this conversation. once again the game has proven in all the time ive played it it can still suprise me. GREATEST GAME EVER!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @TigerRifle1 taking fire? oO I don't get what you mean

  • @TigerRifle1 him and the UNATCO units are takeing fire from the NSF that are holding the streets, and yes he does becouse he runs out on the riad squad just as the storm the NSF NY HQ.

  • I actually got this the first time through.

Like I give a fuck about the hostages. I love how it lets you do it your way.

  • such an underated game

  • @verypoorhobo

    OH YES

  • @verypoorhobo it won Game of the Year. Its not that underrated.

  • @TigerRifle1

But now barely anybody knows it. It's not very popular compared to other good and old games. I guess that's just because it doesn't fit into today's game culture.

  • @Whoneedsareallife having a less then stellar sequel didn't help either.

  • @Whoneedsareallife - Barely? It's getting a prequel, more than ten years after its release ;which...given today's state of PC gaming, is pretty rare.

  • @ToiletBomberAlpha

Really? Human Revolution will turn Deus Ex into a mainstream cyberpunk-sciencefiction-whatever shooter. They only keep the name because it will make fans of the old game buy the prequel.

  • @TigerRifle1 Well it actually won "Game of all time", no?

  • @ummiehummie

So did several other games, it depends on who you ask, there are many "Best game of all time" lists.

  • @verypoorhobo

Underrated? I haven't met anyone who says this game ain't a stroke of genius. But anyone who claims otherwise would indeed be underrating ;)

  • This was Hidden? I did this by accident once, by "technically" freeing the hostages, but they didn't get in the stupid train before I did. Got my ass chewed out for "forgetting" them, even though they were perfectly safe.

  • Nice find! I've played through this game four times, and this dialogue is totally new to me; never even knew you could avoid the hostages. I know you can blow them up by 'accidentally' blasting a TNT crate! Paul's reaction to that is awesome.

This is what I love about Deus Ex; all of the hidden dialogue. To me, uncovering them feels more rewarding then, say, finding a secret room full of super-powered weapons... not to say that Deus Ex lacked secret rooms...

  • @robdazombie

Won't Paul say something like "we need to talk, this was a disaster" and then he just says I should forget about it? ^^

  • @Gamezpussy he says that if u messed up in the subway (kill the hostages) ;)

  • it never occured to me to not save the hostages! wow this game still surprises me after all these years.

  • Amazing, so many years I've NEVER seen this.

  • thats funny i just did the same thing yesterday on ps2 and was realy shocked

    nice

  • Weird... I got this the first time playing.

  • how you done it ?

  • @buczek0711

    read the description ^^

  • I'm amazed that people still comment on this game, I discovered it 2 years ago, it's fun to know there are thousands more who share this obsession.

  • @oetamFCTC

Yeah, I discovered it exactly one year ago. I hate it whenever I'm really obsessed with a game noone knows so I can't talk about it. Luckily Deus Ex still has loads of fans.. which is a bit strange because to the broad mass it's so unpopular..

  • @oetamFCTC Found this game 10-11 years ago still obsessed and finding stuff.

  • @oetamFCTC Dude, it's simply because this is by far the best game made to date. When I see the obsession of game designers, no: the publishers with pushing the designers to create another Call of Duty to make some kiddies happy, I guess it will stay the best game to be created for still some time...

The problem of the gaming industry is that you can make the biggest profits with just another sequel of a succesful series. And that's what they're doing!

  • @LimboJimbo Agree!!

  • maaaaan i ve played it like 20 times and never tough of that possibility.

  • @mgf001

    yeah, awesome isn't it? :D

  • lol i have done dx 4 times in the end but haven't found this yet

    thanks

  • oh i havent seen this before

  • Its official. This game. WAAAAAY Ahead of its time.

  • @JerichoMcCoy Exactly my thoughts...

  • @JerichoMcCoy it's still ahead of the present time.

  • @JerichoMcCoy This game is STILL ahead of the times. I cannot think of any game today that matches it.

  • @JerichoMcCoy More and more it seems like it's ahead of current games, as well.

  • @JerichoMcCoy More like every other game not nearly as novel as they imply.

  • @Okaruwazashi Really?

    ...well I guess that's your opinion, but I couldn't disagree more ;)

  • @Gamezpussy I just mean that a lot of features are not as new as they're implied to be. Except graphical features of course.

  • Wow, I've played it so many times through and still never seen that, this game always has something new.

  • deus ex is full of these

  • I did get this dialog, but only on my last playthrough (this year ^^).

Amusing to discover these in Deus Ex.
