  • wow, way to go on rev'n the turbo way up and shutting down the engine without letting the bearings in your turbo slow down a bit. The proper way to a long lasting turbo, let your car idle for 1min before shutting down.

  • Judging by the sound of the idle and the turbo spooling right away, that thing is running pig rich lol

  • there is absolutely no way you were running on all four cylinders.

  • Dude, why would you post that? Re-take the video make the car run "decent" hook up the exhaust THEN re-post the video...... the 2.4l deserves more than that..... Oh, and I love the way you reve the crap out of it then shut it off right away, no love for the turbo.........

  • thats the 2.0 dohc engine its stock on some neons

  • Curious, is that a 2.4 like out of a Stratus?

  • you need to be at about 49psi for your fuel pressure.

  • lol

  • is the engine code 4g64?

im curious because you have a 2.4L, as my mitsu mighty max is a 2.4L sohc, and im looking for a dohc swap.

  • did your battery die?? wat are you usin for a turbo??

  • yes battery was dying. I have a 20g turbo

  • so wat all do you have installed other than turbo and 2.4

  • udp, Crane #16 cams, 60mm TB. and stock IM without 90 degree bend. Thats about it engine wise.

  • sounds like shit...

  • Thanks. That is the sound I was going for!

  • Do a compression check, and check your timing belt.

  • I already fixed the problem. All it needed was tunning. Now it runs perfect and put down 280HP and 260TQ on 7 psi. on stock block and head.

  • when you buy a fuel pump be sure to buy one that is quiet. having a loud one is weak. i bought the msd one...lots of pressure but extremely loud

  • Too late for that. I had already installed the Aeromotive inline fuel pump good for 700HP. It is pretty loud but not as loud as I expected.

  • love it. goin to do it myself as soon as srt4 hype calms down a people total them for me to use

  • fuel pressure needs to be a lil higher than just 30 psi... a stock srt-4 runs a returless system at 60 psi all the time. lets get that pressure higher.

  • seems like its fuel related...hows your fuel pressure?

  • I lowered the fuel pressure to 30psi but think it might be from the O2 sensore not being hooked up since I have no DP or exhaust.
