Okay..so I'm researching weight loss videos and I catch a glimpse of your and I see your hair. I love it. Then I research to find out if this is your natural hair or extensions and you never say. At any rate...I love your hair. If it's natural....it's gorgeous on you. If it's not natural...it's still gorgeous and you and can you tell me what brand and type it is? Thanks in advance.
I understand how u feel it can be like that... It will get better dont rush u have all the time to lose ur weight btw u look so good in ur pictures I made a vid about how u feel. I think its because we are bigger in the upper areas other women have smaller arms and u can see it faster. Am going through the same changes as u girl. We will get there. Great job on p90
I understand and I am frustrated as well. I am almost a yearout and stuck at 35-40 pounds thus far. I have been diagnosed with PCOS ( A hormonal issue) and this is supposed to be the reason why I am not loosing as much HOWVER, in order to alleviate it's symptoms, I need to loose weight... GO FIGURE!!
You should take a look at your diet. I know for me I love sweets and carbs (to the point of addition) and they made me blow up like a ballon. I cut all that stuff way back for a few months and dropped like crazy.
Well, you are looking great! I do understand the frustration though. I was afraid of trying lapband for the reason that I didn't think I would have the willpower enough to get me to my goal. I ended up with Gastric Bypass RNY for this reason. I have a question for you. I know you do plus size modeling and I was wondering how your weight loss has effected your work? Do you get more jobs now... or less? Just curious. I want to model, but now I am worried that I am too small. Crazy huh?!
hey girl! i feel ya on that "wall" that you've hit. i think the key is to not let it mess up your goals, cuz that's what i've had to work on lately. as long as you just keep on' keepin' on, you will get to your goal! it does sound like you need a fill though, don't be afraid, it could really help you! take care :)
Remember you did not gain this weight in a year so you may not lose it in a year. Look at others who are still trying to lose weight? 75 pounds is a lot! A huge loss in a year. Don't ever forget that and you have a different body type than any other person....it may take you 2 years to lose the weight. Keep your head up! Every day is a new day! You make the decisions for your health. Don't be discouraged!
I feel ya girl. I tell everyone that I feel I should have lost more. Anyway keep your head up and yes p90x is a strenghtening exercise so you may gain muscle weight. You do look good. Is this depression week? Skymoon is not happy either about her weight gain. She hasn't workout in a few months so we all need a break. Get a journal and write down everything you eat.
hey girl. you look great, and i understand your frustration. however yeah skymoon does 2 hrs exercise a day. so keep that in mind. :-) you'll get the rest of the weight off, we all need to find out special formula you know, and that takes time.
Thanks girl! I needed that reminder. I am doing cardio at lunch and p90x at night. I have stayed true to the p90x each day and average additional cardio 3 times a week. I need to step it up! It is good to hear from you!
Frustration can kill a diet. I know this from experience so you need to ask yourself... How bad do I want this?
I have started eating some sweets again. Not as much as before I started dieting but more than I have in quite a while. I need to ask myself, How bad do I want this? It is damn hard and the slower the weight loss the harder it is.
We need to decide what is more important to us, the sweets or our weight loss goals.
My money is on YOU. Come on girl! You can do this.
You know how some people dont' eat sweets but prefer food instead. Or cant live without soda or fried food etc. I have no interest in food or soda or fried food. I need the gene that makes me loathe sweets! UGH!!!!!
I am with you!! I could happily eat sweets all day. Oh, wait, I did. I think I remember the outcome. Dang, this is work.
Everyday, everytime I stand in front of a temptation I have to ask myself how badly I really want it. Sometimes I confess, I want it and eat it. Luckily, I don't do that so often anymore.
So I had a moment like this the first of the year. I re-evaluated my diet and lost 9 lbs in January. Everyone is differnt and maybe you meed to swith it up some. I do eat "bad" foods but i account for every calorie that goes in my mouth and I run 20 miles a week to compensate. Skymoon is awesome, but I realized quickly that I would never follow that strict a diet or work out that much because you can't do that for the rest of your life. You are doing great...keep it up you'll see the results.
Your right...doing what works for you is part of a lifestyle change that you should be able to maintain. I can't cut the sweets entirely but I CAN reduce them. Great point
Hey! Sorry ur going through a major stall but u can't expect to lose weight if ur constantly eating sweets. Do u count ur calories? If not try staying under 800 cal and stop eating after 7. This is wat I do, but I'm a gastric sleeve patient. I've lost 30lbs in 6 weeks. Lapband is a slow weight loss tool so if it's not working out for you than maybe u should try another wl tool! Tring is the only thing u can do, but I wish u luck on ur weight loss. I love my sleeve.....
You have gone through 3 90 day cycles??? Whoa! I am on week 4 on Monday. I repeated week 3 because I missed three days. I am excited. I have to see your before and after pictures. That is outstanding!
I'm sorry you're frustrated. Skymoon worked out 2 hrs a day, 5-6 days a week and followed a STRICT diet. That's how she lost her weight soo fast. Can you say you're doing the same, or even close to that? Be honest with yourself. (That was the tough love part). Now girl, you are beautiful, smart, ambitious and strong. If you put your mind, body and spirit into it, this goal will be yours as well. You can take control of this, go back to the 10 rules. YOU CAN DO THIS! I KNOW YOU CAN:-)
Thanks girl. No I'm not ad disciplined! Thanks for the tough love. I needed a knock in the head! Some days it feels like I am spinning my wheels so I appreciate the encouragement. Our community is THE best!
Happy belated birthday. My suggestions include buying a scale that shows you what percentage of fat, water and muscle you are...going back to the rules of lap band and maybe even doing like three or four days of liquids to keep start your stall and it sounds like you may need a fill. Great job with P90X...are more than half way to your weight goal...you can make it!
I have the Biggest loser scale...it's the Glass Body Fat Scale by Taylor...I bought mine at Khol's...it's a little pricey but, I like seeing the body fat percentage going down and the lean muscle mass increasing...and the water weight...I love it...it's programmable it can store memory for 10 users :)
also...i think, if you do choose to go back to your doctor for a fill, you need to let him know how the last visit made you feel..cause I'd be damn if my doctor ever went there with m. You look gorgeous in your pics at the end btw.
I know how you feel. The band can be so slow. Sometimes, I think I made the wrong choice and want to give up...but the reality is, is this is not over until we say it's over. I believe you can lose more if you want. It a true struggle at times, but it is possible. Sweets are my problem too. I chew gum to help me with that. You can do it. Stick to it and know that you have done really well so far!!!
70lbs is a Great loss.....cheer up ..It will come off in time ....Lapband is a slow weight Loss...and I feel ya on the sweets ..I love the Maple scones from starbucks...lol
