this isn't fake, this is due to gas's they were trying to collect when the drill hole collapsed and to stop gases escaping they has to keep it burning and it still produces gases so it carries on burning..

This means all energy to the furthest of human knowledge is some how related to heat meaning it can be converted to and from and vice versa. Ever heard of thermal generators? you cannot bury hole as the source of the gas is under high pressure and eventually gas will make its way through anything, water, sand, etc. this is because the well that was drilled failed to contain the gas probably at very deep level, may be couple kilometers deep. so it is very difficult now to reach that depth and seal the hole.
