I am absolutely enraged by this. A Cyberbully Registry should be set up like the sex offender registry and people caught cyberbullying should be regularly monitored by the police, check in with police so they know where they are and have their profiles and crime posted on the internet for all to see. These people specifically come online to irresponsibly terrorize and embarrass kids and a clear message needs to be sent that this will absolutely NOT be tolerated.
@musicgirl2966 Do not do that!!!!! In years to come when you have left school and the immature gutless bullies grow up your life will be very different for the better. You should tell someone about it, your parents or a teacher. If anything the bullies should suffer not you. Protect yourself carry a bat and next time they come at you bang them it the head! assaulting them is far better than ending your life!
seriously if i ever was bullied up to a point where i would commit suicide i would KILL the people who caused it i mean if they took my life im sure as hell taking theirs...
This is terrible but a lot of people seem to forget what highschool is like, When your with a group of kids you consider "cool" and they start making fun of someone, you dont think about the consequences you think about fitting in, im not saying they shouldnt be held accountable for something like this, but i dont think they should face jailtime or anything.
Where were school employee's when this bullying was occurring?............They are equally to blame for ignoring this illegal behavior. Shame on The Teachers and School Administrators. rgc
@rgcaudill With all due respect the teachers cannot watch the kids 24/7 and even if they do there is so much of this kind of stuff going on in schools now its impossible to stop it all, i mean for christs sake they have cameras throughout every part of my school and teachers patrolling the halls all the time, they even have a police officer stationed inside the school pretty much all the time, It has really gotten ridiculous already so there isnt much more they can do.
God, she was only fifteen. The poor girl, those bullies deserve to fucking be put behind bars .... "troublesome" !!! Christ, some adults are fucking retards.
@kittenandoggershow cause you cant take it, imagine someone always teases you & shit you start to feel bad about your self and you want them to stop but they wont the only way to stop it is to kill your self
@kittenandogger That comment is moronic. Next time you think about writing a comment think first. I'm sure there were many faters that contributed to her death, not just cyber bullying and even if that was the case everyone is different, some people are more sensitive than others and have a more profound reaction. Regardless of the reason you should show more compassion and common sense.
i am an atheist. i HATE christians who believe in afterlife because that means theres no point in feeling sorry for the people who died. THERES NO SUCH THING AS AFTERLIFE. u only have ONE life so u might as well live it well. there shouldnt be any bullying, hopefully people can try harder to prevent bullying.
difficult issue and it's hard to know what is right. it's possible to hold a good faith view on either side. however, i don't think it is right to teach children that they do not have a right to free speech, and i don't understand how someone can be charged for speech. 'Congress shall make no law [...] abridging the freedom of speech'. yes, liberty will mean that some people are subjected to unfair treatment for whatever reason. however, i feel liberty is far more important than a few lives.
@thebeast628 But it should be this way. People should be taught to be sensitive towards others, not callous and self-centered. Think about it: if people have to be really adept at defending themselves, those who are worse at self-defence will suffer. On the other hand, if people have to be really adept at caring for others, those who aren't so caring towards others will only be treated with the fairest solution, as other people would try their best to help that person rather than get revenge.
@thebeast628 Don't kids need better guideance when they're young... because they're not fully developed? And, surely teaching kids to fight eachother just makes things harder for everyone... be it education or family unity? We want kids to be raised to be intelligent and to function well in groups, and to value their education. It's quite simple. But you insist on having people fight eachother when it isn't absolutely necessary. But kids are kids, and it's unreasonable to relate this to politics.
@thebeast628 This is untrue and irrelevant. If everyone was taught properly to be positive minded and caring about others, everyone would be considered fit. Your problem is that you're blaming individuals, rather than the mass media which teaches kids to conform and takes them away from the influence of their parents. Also, it's not a natural inclination to kill yourself, and bullies usually form groups because they are insecure, uncertain, and definitely "unfit" to funciton in an adult world.
@Apapilootoe Yeah, and I bet religions never condemned people to death (sarcasm). So, is it better to kill someone or to let that person kill themselves? Your problem is that you place all the emphasis on the individual, saying that it is all her fault for going against the will of God. We are all responsible for eachother's well-being, and we should all take care of ourselves regardless of this so-called God.
@thebeast628 hmm hang the parents, not a bad idea . its tru what u say about ewry1 being bullied.but in most cases the bullies dont manage 2 mentally brake the person this is what i think happened here..they pretty mutch bullied her 2 the point where she saw that death was the only way out from it .. if u push a person far enough eventually they will brake down and start believing in it what the bully says a wery raw perspective of it whould be called brainwashing braking technices are similar
So who has the best welfare? Well it's obvious... those who are in power! That must mean that the working class work hard and are taxed heavily, giving them less spending power. So just to summarize: this is your argument: you're lazy if you don't fight, but those who don't fight control those who do fight because they have better genes. But those with better genes are those who work hard, and leaving Humans to succumb to 'natural selection' as you put it, don't have to work for nature to act.
And anything includes yourself: not your religion, or Darwin, or any philosophy. But YOU, it is you who looks bad. To be honest, I don't really care about you. You're just some stranger on the internet. Admittedly, though, your comments are rather annoying and I don't support the ideas that you're trying to spread over the internet. You shouldn't have to right to get into people's heads like this and fill them full of crap. But that's 89% of internet... crap, mind fucking information & porn.
i live in ireland like she did and i lived about 40 miles away from her, didnt know her though. Cannot believe 9 people bullied her and she got raped twice. Its a scandal!
and by the way to those people who tought it was her choice to kill herself. YOUR WRONG! because an irish deocumentary revealed that they kept nagging her at school and on facebook to go and kill herself because she was "a worthless piece of shit". My heart goes out to her and her family. R.I.P Phoebe. XxXxXxX
They are guilty that wgirl wouldnt be dead right now if it wern't for them. A girl from Ireland too as if those people don't have enough shit to deal with. Poor child, she leaves Ireland to start a new life only to end up in a body bag. Thank you America, you bring new meaning to the word ' land of oportunity ' . For shame.
the school system in America is fucked up these days with the multiple school suicides happening.... thank god i live in australia. That shit has never happened here!
I got a brain cause my bully is no longer excists in my life :) So I reported all of her messages and eat her fake ness[maybe not that sounds odd] and I eat her brain and fed it too the people that are bullied...cause...revenge is sweet...
And to the bullys
UR NEXT!!
x3
But still to the victims,if ur bullied tell some one and keep the messages I told my mum she went nuts when she found out cause PARENTS UNDERSTAND U! [or a gardien etc.]
Any from of bullying is wrong and ridiculous. But if your going to kill yourself over what other people say, you don't really deserve to live.....SHE decided to take her own life. Not others.
@tom4705 - Do you think Phoebe would've decided to take her life, had it not been for the harassment campaign waged against her by the SH6 that made her life a living hell? Words hurt, and some people can't deal w/them as well as others.
@WhatsAYak Well its only words. SHE decided to take her own life, not others. ppl get bullied everyday, so maybe everyone who gets bullied should start killing themselves? These kids are innocent, they didn't realize it would take such a drastic turn. Besides, they don't even know if thats the REAL reason. This shouldn't even be an argument.
@tom4705 Oh no the bullies aren´t innocent. Such old kids as them do know what they are saying, they are almost adults and they always understood that what they did was wrong but sure they kept making excuses even though they knew there´s no excuses, they know what they did was wrong.
@Cellye They don't deserve to go to jail though. As screwed up as it is, bullying is an everyday thing. Like I said before, SHE decided to take her own life.
Jesus last time i checked foreign students were well liked in schools. Apparently these maggot students were jealous that she just moved there and was dating the school's quarterback. Then the qb has the nerve to bully her just to stay popular with the other kids? What the hell are the parents teaching these spoiled pieces of shit?
if i had a child who is getting bullied at school ill go CRAZY and say who r those bullies? let me punch em out for ya! It is really sad that innocent kids get bullied and end up killing themselves its just sick
absolutly it was a case of facebook bullying....... i feel so sorry for her and her little sister,i couldnt imagine find anybody like that........these kid are gettin bullied now,i say good enough for them,be done what you wish be done un-to you!!!! rest in peace you lilttle irish angel x
@MySilverHeart or you could just teach your child to fight and stand up for themselves and learn how to let things roll off their back. This is what parents have taught their kids for generations upon generations... it's just a recent developement that we've tolerated our children to be spineless.
You know for all the people whining and bitching about bullies and what not... guess what it's been a fact of life in public schools since there were public schools and way before then. Its called develope a thick skin and learn how to fight for yourself, and if you are just too damn weak minded to deal with it... then yep natural selection will kick in. And if by chance you decide to be gay and share that with the world... you're pretty much asking for it. It's your choice, keep it to yourself.
@bewerf I blame the victim because the so called "victim" chooses to be a victim. Taking the gay thing out of the equation, lets say some kid enjoyed fucking puppies, and that was his life style and he just decided to tell his classmates he was a puppy fucker. I don't think anyone would be shocked that the majority of them would look down upon his choice of fucking puppies and would bully him for doing it. Hell you yourself probably would too. So he should keep his degenerate traits to himself.
@bewerf Ok let me put it as simply as possible... at some point this girls parents should have taught this girl to stand up for herself and fight if need be or at least learn how to develope a thick skin so as to ignore the dumbasses around her. Obviously there was a failure along the way and this girl rather than fighting back just took it all personally and was weak minded enough to kill herself over harsh words. She was allowed to be spineless and it cost her, her life.
@ifuhateitwedontcare umm I went through the American public school system... just like every other child who went through the same school system, we were all bullied mercilessly at one point or another... and you know what 99% of us did about it? We yelled "fuck you" back at the bully or got a black eye from the fight but we kept on and grew into thicker skinned adults. The other 1% of the kids apparently went home and hung themselves, and they're the only ones you hear about.
@bewerf If I'm ever a victim of a crime then it's probably because I was some where I shouldn't have been, done something I shouldn't have done, said something I shouldn't have said, or wasn't prepared when I should have been prepared... and if for some reason I didn't fight back when attacked then yes it would be because I was spineless. However school yard bullying is not a crime, it's a fact of life and human nature, it forces you to be strong or weeds you out, natural selection at its best.
Nature selects and transforms a species over time. When we decide to outcast someone, we are making our own decision independent of the forces of nature. Nature forces us to compete and turn against one another at times, but this doesn't mean that our reasoning behind these actions is of the same nature as natural selection. You can't say that nature is good or evil, but you can say that Human nature can be either.
@job1181@job1181 Yeah it has been a fact of life, like a great many other things we got rid of. Like slavery, different law for nobles and commoners, or no law at all. Just because something is a fact of life doesnt means its ok or acceptable for modern society. We send our kids to scool in the assumtion that they will be safe from harm, phyisical or psichological, if that doesnt holds true, the problem isnt with with us, but with the system. Bullying should not be tolerated!
@Hyeesa lets see... slavery still exists, different laws still exists (even in America for the rich & the poor), and there are still several countries where no law exists and who are at constant war... so what modern society deems appropriate means just about shit in reality. As for assumptions, well assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups as quoted by the USMC and it's a very true statement.
And neither should be the neglect of the teachers! ( By the way, that its a fact since public scools exist is not true. Maybe in the USA it is, but here there had been a time when our teachers were public servants with actual authority, and if any bullying, it could only happen outside of scool.)
And what does gayness has to do with anything? And... Natural selection? I doubt you even know what that means. But you know what? Let me tell you what Natural selection would mean to humans.
@Hyeesa well gayness is homosexuality which if I have to draw you a picture of one man butt fucking another man then... well you're beyond hope. As for natural selection, at least as defined by Charles Darwin in his book On the Origin of The Species, it's outlined as the ability of a species to adapt to their enironment to be able to survive, where that adaptation is physical or mental. If a child is unable to develope mentally and physically to defend itself... welp we see the outcome.
Nature doesn't have opinions. Humans DO have opinions BECAUSE of nature.
Let me explain:
"I murdered someone because of nature, if it wasn't for nature I wouldn't have done it!"
Response: "We're going to condemn you to death because of nature."
See how stupid this is? We have to make a distinction between things in order for sensible decisions to be made. You're just being obtuse, it's as bad as saying that we bully others in the name of God.
When did Darwin ever say: "I think it is great that Humans will fight against eachother! Absolutely wonderful it is!"
I very much doubt it.
Darwin didn't do anything wrong, but some people got the wrong ideas from his sort of research. Darwin was a very important person and he did a lot for the natural sciences. It's people like you who make Darwin look bad.
Wow I've been away for the holidays, & yes that includes Christmas for all you pc bitches who can't stand to hear the name of God. So hopefully most of you faggots have commited suicide over the holidays since it's suppose to be so depressing & so forth, if not, I'm still glad I got to make them that much dimmer. Now to you j2e2c, of course I make Darwin look bad, I'm a Christian. I simply make him look bad because logic makes him look bad, but I can't say I disagree with natural selection.
@job1181 I'm not sure it's gotten to the point where you're complained at for saying "christmas" although I do admit that it is irritating when immigrants come over and complain about christmas. They should respect our customs. It certainly isn't a person's fault for feeling bad about themselves when other people intend for that to happen. Killing one's self isn't the answer to that, but there are a lot of mis-guided people who do. Luckily, there's help available for those people.
@job1181 What advantage does it give you to make people feel bad? Also, plenty of christians believe in the ideas of Darwin. It's getting to a stage now where religion is quite acceptant of science. There are plenty of "logical" people who disagree with Darwin, likewise, there are plenty of "illogical" people who disagree with him. But you don't have to agree with him entirely to appreciate the merits of his work. To be honest, I think you're just trying to make anything look bad.
@j2e2c The only "merit" I appreciate is his point of natural selection, which it's not really his merit because it's a natural process as the name implies. However if you have to give credit to anyone for bringing the concept to light then yes we are in Darwin's debt for making the case for said selection. As for the rest of his theories, I consider him a dumbass but that's my opinion.
@job1181 So who has the best welfare? Well it's obvious... those who are in power! That must mean that the working class work hard and are taxed heavily, giving them less spending power. So just to summarize: this is your argument: you're lazy if you don't fight, but those who don't fight control those who do fight because they have better genes. But those with better genes are those who work hard, and leaving Humans to succumb to 'natural selection' as you put it, isn't hard work.
@job1181 Finally, Darwin has nothing to do with all of this. He was only making obervations about nature, he wasn't promoting war or greed, or anything like that... etc. Your comments about natural selection and civilization are misplaced and misguided, and your idea that only the hardest workers have the best genes simply means that your solution would be to order a mass war. But I'll tell you something very important: Humans don't just fight for the sake of it, so you need an incentive.
So how much hard work is required to manipulate the masses into fighting in a mass war? Not a lot. What is required is manipulation and deviance, and I certainly don't think they are positive human characteristics that should be passed on. It's the reason why we've ravaged the Earth and destroyed the nature that you are supposedly all for. What you're essentially promoting is to stimulate aggressive natural tendencies and brutal conflicts which wouldn't happen in a balanced eco-system.
We pretty much eliminated natural selection for our species by adopting a policy of mutual consent for mating, by eliminating many diseases that would plague us, and by controlling our enviroment, instead of adapting to it.
Dont get me wrong, it works for other species fine, because there is nothing else to keep them updated for any enviromental changes.
But we have. Having real natural selection would mean abolishing civilisation itself. And i bet you dont whant to give up its comforts.
@Hyeesa actually if I could have a world free of a large federal govt, a world who didn't give handouts to those who weren't actually in need but were just unwilling to work, a world were a man's survival was based upon him being able to hunt, gather, or farm or at least have a skill that he was able to provide services for his keep then I would be quite happy. Of course I'm a Texan and we actually value the ability to rely upon one's own merits and abilities.
@Hyeesa Actually if abolishing civilization meant that we could bring back natural selection I would put the bullet in metaphorical head of civilization itself. By riding ourselves of any form of natural selection we have given way to welfare states that do nothing more than reward the lazy at the cost of the hard working and have allowed flawed genes to be passed on to future generations. So would I give up an iPad in trade to not support Tyrone and his crack babies? In a heartbeat!
@job1181 I'm not sure what you mean by welfare state. But I think what you're talking about is leftist policies and equity/fairness. Welfare states make sure that the poor, homeless and jobless - etc - get a basic standard of living. That's got nothing to do with laziness. A poor worker might work hard every day for a greedy employer and get paid next to nothing. Who other than the WORKING CLASS would be entitled to benefits? Think about it.
@job1181 What's a job seekers allowance? Well, it's simple... when there's not enough jobs to go around due to limited resources (thus unequal opportunities from the day you're born, regardless of your genes) and also because of companies shutting down because the masses (mostly working class) don't have spending power to buy the goods that the companies sell, then those people who never had the money or opportunity to produce their own equity (i.e work for themselves rather than a ...
@j2e2c One very last thing: and to anyone reading this: Don't listen to what this person says, he's trying to get into your heads and perhaps make you brainwash your children. Let your children come to their own conclusions about politics. It's best to let them find out later so that they don't take on immature, extreme viewpoints due to the fact that they won't have properly found themselves or their interests in this world. They don't deserve to be exposed to so much crap on the internet.
@job1181 greedy corporation which supports homegenization) need some support to maintain a basic standard of living. The problem is that HARD WORK DOESN'T PAY. You work for a greedy employer who sits in an office all day and complains/ works his men hard, or you try and make your own business but find that the large corporations don't allow your hard work to be worth anything, as you're already priced out the market from day one! Why work for nothing!? So what happens? Excess population = war.
@job1181 But war isn't necessary. The people shouldn't have to suffer for the mistakes made by those in power.Your argument basically boils down to this: the hardest workers are those who have to fight to surive. Those who are lazy must have bad genes because they have a poor attitude/ an inability to perform and it must be caused by genetics.
@job1181 The problem with your logic in your comment is that you made a link between welfare and laziness/hard work. It's an unjust connection that you made because you're saying that those who don't have to fight to survive, are lazy. So then who controls the war? It certainly isn't those who fight. Therefore, welfare doesn't = laziness. What it actually means is that to some extent, another organization is in control of your equity... thus it is further from a free-market stance.
@job1181 ... meaning that I end this argument by saying: Your idea would be a twisted version of natural selection -- a natural selection that is manipulated by certain individuals who you might deem superior, in an environment that cannot naturally sustain itself. But it wasn't the environment we built for ourselves that made us act decently and share/give etc.
@job1181 Even if we had our man-made environment all stripped away from us, the best thing to do would still be to give, share and be kind to one another, as it is behavior that we've learnt over the ages. It is behaviour that has had some use for our adaptation as a species.
@j2e2c lets see... on your well overly winded rant on defending the welfare state, which is any state/country that gives a check to someone who isn't working for, simply put I am tired of paying for people who have done nothing top deserve it. It's a simple concept, if you roll up to the welfare office driving a lexus you should be shot. As for your hippie we should all love each other bullshit... fly to any arab country and go hug a terrorist and find out how far that logic gets you.
@job1181 Welfare state means a bit more than that, and there are varying definitions. There's books on the subject of defining exactly what it is, including statistics. It's not limited to the jobless. You are singling out one sort of person to justify your viewpoint. Shooting someone for driving a Lexus to the welfare office is a mind-boggling concept, I have to say. It's just obtuse; you don't single out one sort of person and come to the conclusion that your contribution is invalid.
@job1181 I'm going to rant, aren't I, when you suggest that a good solution is to simply kill people because of their attitude, level of conformity, or genetics? Perhaps it's in my nature to feel strongly against that kind of discrimination, as it's counter-productive. It's an ideal, you jerk; I know full well that confronting those with extremist ideas and talking of "love not war", simply won't work because some groups of people are so stirred up that force is the only option left.
@job1181 The only thing that anyone should be shot for (forget about your welfare, genetics, or Lexus nonsense) is for participating in a war. That makes perfect sense. By the way, this world doesn't just work by numbers and logic. The courts, one would hope, are controlled by people of the highest moral calibre. The logic comes down to the deductions, for who has done what and the conclusions (yes or no) based on the evidence. In this case the bullies didn't kill her, bullying was pre-meditated
@job1181 BUT THEY STILL DIDN'T KILL HER. Now, what the majority of Humans would consider as good ideals are ones which are related to compassion and altruism. Extremists, on the other hand, have vested interests. You are one such person. You're an extremist, and your ideals are far from realistic. The world really wants to avoid bloodshed and war, but there's usually one person with his finger on a button, with his own needs to serve. Bullying is a childish selfish act -- adults shouldn't bully.
@j2e2c Well you're right to say that there are many forms of welfare, and to be even handed the few types that I support are one for any military vets, especially injured ones because they have truely paid their dues to their country. This however would exclude John Kerry types that got their purple hearts for valiantly shooting themselves in the foot. The second type I would support would be for the old who could prove they worked all their life and deserve a certain quality of life in the end.
@job1181 People should have to earn things, I agree. And there are greedy, manipulative people about... which is unfortunate. Usually these people have some real influence. If you think that people who get a small welfare allowance are a problem, you're mistaken. They're not powerful, and the government knows that they need some spending power to keep them from being an angry mob. But you'd prefer it if they're an angry mob who don't really earn anything because earning relates to stable growth.
@j2e2c Well since everyone in that angry mob would be pissed off because the Fed Govt. and State Govt. finally pulled their heads out of their respected asses and cut off the tax payer money that supported their laziness and ability to afford pre-stated lexus type items without a day of hard work, that would suit me just fine. Since they would be an angry mob it would justify the killing of each and everyone one of them which would dramatically lighten the deficits. Same goes for a union mob.
@j2e2c Oh yeah I nearly forgot your hippie anti-war BS. I could quote logic with "If you want peace then prepare for war" but I don't think you'll understand that concept. So as far as you saying I'm an extremist, actually I'm in one of two majorities, you have a large chunk of people on each end of the spectrum of each side of an issue and then you have this spineless blob of people in the middle. The reason you want to say "everyone is really good deep down" is because you're in this blob.
@job1181 Of course I understand the concept "if you want peace then prepare for war" but what I think is worth pointing out is that war doesn't mean killing eachother in bloody battles; sometimes they are non-violent wars. By the way, you're just some guy in Texas with a limited view on the world. You think you're a majority. How sad. You're not. Fine, go ahead and come up with analogies... they don't mean anything. There are 3 ends to the spectrum, and the middle one requires sensible planning.
@j2e2c Humm actually I think I explained that pretty well but I'll put it in even simpiler terms.... which I'll use the "extremist" label to help it further... if on one side of a scale you had Sarah Palin & on the other side you had Keith Olbermann and then in the dead middle of this scale you had the 12%-15% of dumbasses who always answer "undecided" on surveys as if they can't form an opinion without some one telling them what their opinion is... then I'm on the Sarah Palin side of the scale.
@job1181 If there aren't enough choices, why bother putting an answer? Not everyone veers either left or right, you know. It doesn't work like that. But you know, I perfectly understood you because I guess you probably are far-right. Not just right: far right. Anyone else who's the right might be grouped with you. But you're still the group extremity. By the way, I'm not really sure what surveys you're thinking of... but I don't define my viewpoints based on surveys with limited choices.
@j2e2c Oh just those random surverys that a news organization puts out or that Rasmussen's website runs, and it's really broad issues. But regardless of the issue be it health care, gun laws, taxes, economy, etc, etc you get the majority of people on one side or the other. The group that annoys me are the ones smack in the middle who check the box labled "unsure" or "I don't know", which means these people have no opinion therefore they don't need to count within the system.
@candygal1119 All kinds of people get bullied. I've seen such gorgeous girls at school being an outcast. Sometimes it's jealousy. Anyways i'm sure you're not ugly.
Where does the terrible hatred and pettiness come from in some of these kids? I've been teaching 25 years, taught thousands of students and have seen all kinds of wierd and whacky behavior in schools, most of which has, for the most part been relatively benign.
Phoebe was new to the school, had yet to build a stable peer support group and became the target of a group of insecure, predatory teens... Schools need to change!!!
She Died Over Facebook... That Shit Shouldn't Mean Nothing, Also Kind Of Fucked Up That The Punk Asses Were Charged Over Her Death, They Should Of Made Them Go To The Parents And Grow Balls And Help Out The Family Recover, That's The Right Thing To Do.
@zubscorp I think its retarded. Damn, kids these days are growing up as pussies. I will say this again, you have to able to aford a computer and you have to have internet subscription. Fuck, Your paying to get on to be abused. Turn the fucken computer off, stop being on the messengers, and do ya home work, shit. If you dont, that means you like being abused. Learn you estupid people. I never seen a third world country with this problem. THIS IS BULLSHIT!!!!!!!!!!! IDIOTS!!!!!!!!
Incredible! Bullying happens everywhere, in every country, in every school. Bullies grow up to be absolutely normal people, with job, family, kids, a house and a car. Many of them become successful businessman, politicians. And now the lives of those 9 poor kids are destroyed, because somebody committed suicide? Is it their problem that somebody couldn't stand some school bullying?
@valgez Um, yes it is their problem because they chose to engage in the bullying. You can't honestly justify this because of what these idiots MIGHT grow up to be. No doubt in my mind you're a bully yourself and just like all bullies you need someone to break your jaw before you stop mistreating people. Disgusting.
@LibertineDeSade Idiots? Just ordinary people, they'll grow absolutely normal people, unlike those who couldn't ... well, their fucking parents whose function is to spot when smth. is wrong and teach their children live in the world, help them develop thick skin and so on. I'm not a bully and never been, just saying that nobody has a power to change this, in fact, natural process of establishing pecking order, just part of a selection process, the weakest is picked on, so don't be the weakest
@valgez You're acting like it's just a bit of taunting, if that were the case I'd agree with you. But it's physical confrontation, and harassment outside of school.
You may claim to not be a bully, but you're just as bad you're in for a rude awakening if you think childhood bullies don't grow up to be adult bullies. They do and it's worse.
"just part of a selection process, the weakest is picked on, so don't be the weakest" <~~~ Yeah? Tell that to the kids that died at Columbine.
@LibertineDeSade The colombine situation is different. This is cyberbullying. You can't get bullied online if you dont get online. Tell me the reasonable explination beyond that point? No computer, no internet, no cyberbullying. Ah....ya, also no text messaging monthly payment. There are the simple solutions......

In the Philippines, people who are bullied do this thing:
1. They gang up and wait for the bully and they kick his ass.
2. Try to kill him/her.
3.Trap him and throws things on her/him.
4. Report him, but if ignored. We just kick the bullies ass.
5. If the bully backed up other bullies. We join armies with other groupes and announce gang war with them. If they lose, we steal items.
The next day. The bully is in the hospital.

difficult issue and it's hard to know what is right. it's possible to hold a good faith view on either side. however, i don't think it is right to teach children that they do not have a right to free speech, and i don't understand how someone can be charged for speech. codyjohn1551 1 year ago
@thebeast628 But it should be this way. People should be taught to be sensitive towards others, not callous and self-centered. Think about it: if people have to be really adept at defending themselves, those who are worse at self-defence will suffer. On the other hand, if people have to be really adept at caring for others, those who aren't so caring towards others will only be treated with the fairest solution, as other people would try their best to help that person rather than get revenge.
j2e2c 1 year ago

It's your choice, keep it to yourself.
job1181 1 year ago
@job1181 Why are you blaming the victim? That is so weird. Are you a bully who is defending your actions? Your comments really sound like it.
bewerf 1 year ago
@bewerf I blame the victim because the so called "victim" chooses to be a victim. Taking the gay thing out of the equation, lets say some kid enjoyed fucking puppies, and that was his life style and he just decided to tell his classmates he was a puppy fucker. I don't think anyone would be shocked that the majority of them would look down upon his choice of fucking puppies and would bully him for doing it. Hell you yourself probably would too. So he should keep his degenerate traits to himself.
job1181 1 year ago
@job1181 What in the world does that have to do with this girl killing herself?
bewerf 1 year ago
@bewerf Ok let me put it as simply as possible... at some point this girls parents should have taught this girl to stand up for herself and fight if need be or at least learn how to develope a thick skin so as to ignore the dumbasses around her. Obviously there was a failure along the way and this girl rather than fighting back just took it all personally and was weak minded enough to kill herself over harsh words. She was allowed to be spineless and it cost her, her life.

The other 1% of the kids apparently went home and hung themselves, and they're the only ones you hear about.

@job1181 OK, so what you are saying is that if you are ever a victim of a crime it will be your fault because you are weak minded and spineless.
bewerf 1 year ago
@bewerf If I'm ever a victim of a crime then it's probably because I was some where I shouldn't have been, done something I shouldn't have done, said something I shouldn't have said, or wasn't prepared when I should have been prepared... and if for some reason I didn't fight back when attacked then yes it would be because I was spineless. However school yard bullying is not a crime, it's a fact of life and human nature, it forces you to be strong or weeds you out, natural selection at its best.
job1181 1 year ago
@job1181
Nature selects and transforms a species over time. When we decide to outcast someone, we are making our own decision independent of the forces of nature. Nature forces us to compete and turn against one another at times, but this doesn't mean that our reasoning behind these actions is of the same nature as natural selection. You can't say that nature is good or evil, but you can say that Human nature can be either.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@job1181 @job1181 Yeah it has been a fact of life, like a great many other things we got rid of.
Hyeesa 1 year ago
@Hyeesa lets see... slavery still exists, different laws still exists (even in America for the rich & the poor), and there are still several countries where no law exists and who are at constant war... so what modern society deems appropriate means just about shit in reality. As for assumptions, well assumption is the mother of all fuck-ups as quoted by the USMC and it's a very true statement.
job1181 1 year ago
And neither should be the neglect of the teachers! ( By the way, that its a fact since public scools exist is not true. Maybe in the USA it is, but here there had been a time when our teachers were public servants with actual authority, and if any bullying, it could only happen outside of scool.)
And what does gayness has to do with anything? And... Natural selection? I doubt you even know what that means. But you know what? Let me tell you what Natural selection would mean to humans.
Hyeesa 1 year ago
@Hyeesa well gayness is homosexuality which if I have to draw you a picture of one man butt fucking another man then... well you're beyond hope. As for natural selection, at least as defined by Charles Darwin in his book On the Origin of The Species, it's outlined as the ability of a species to adapt to their enironment to be able to survive, where that adaptation is physical or mental. If a child is unable to develope mentally and physically to defend itself... welp we see the outcome.
job1181 1 year ago
@job1181
You're just being obtuse, it's as bad as saying that we bully others in the name of God.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@job1181
It's people like you who make Darwin look bad.
j2e2c 1 year ago
Wow I've been away for the holidays, & yes that includes Christmas for all you pc bitches who can't stand to hear the name of God. So hopefully most of you faggots have commited suicide over the holidays since it's suppose to be so depressing & so forth, if not, I'm still glad I got to make them that much dimmer. Now to you j2e2c, of course I make Darwin look bad, I'm a Christian. I simply make him look bad because logic makes him look bad, but I can't say I disagree with natural selection.
job1181 1 year ago
@job1181 I'm not sure it's gotten to the point where you're complained at for saying "christmas" although I do admit that it is irritating when immigrants come over and complain about christmas. They should respect our customs. It certainly isn't a person's fault for feeling bad about themselves when other people intend for that to happen. Killing one's self isn't the answer to that, but there are a lot of mis-guided people who do. Luckily, there's help available for those people.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@job1181 What advantage does it give you to make people feel bad? Also, plenty of christians believe in the ideas of Darwin. It's getting to a stage now where religion is quite acceptant of science. There are plenty of "logical" people who disagree with Darwin, likewise, there are plenty of "illogical" people who disagree with him. But you don't have to agree with him entirely to appreciate the merits of his work. To be honest, I think you're just trying to make anything look bad.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@j2e2c The only "merit" I appreciate is his point of natural selection, which it's not really his merit because it's a natural process as the name implies. However if you have to give credit to anyone for bringing the concept to light then yes we are in Darwin's debt for making the case for said selection. As for the rest of his theories, I consider him a dumbass but that's my opinion.
job1181 1 year ago
@job1181 So who has the best welfare? Well it's obvious... those who are in power! That must mean that the working class work hard and are taxed heavily, giving them less spending power. But those with better genes are those who work hard, and leaving Humans to succumb to 'natural selection' as you put it, isn't hard work.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@job1181 Finally, Darwin has nothing to do with all of this. He was only making obervations about nature, he wasn't promoting war or greed, or anything like that... etc. Your comments about natural selection and civilization are misplaced and misguided, and your idea that only the hardest workers have the best genes simply means that your solution would be to order a mass war. But I'll tell you something very important: Humans don't just fight for the sake of it, so you need an incentive.
j2e2c 1 year ago
So how much hard work is required to manipulate the masses into fighting in a mass war? Not a lot. What is required is manipulation and deviance, and I certainly don't think they are positive human characteristics that should be passed on. It's the reason why we've ravaged the Earth and destroyed the nature that you are supposedly all for. What you're essentially promoting is to stimulate aggressive natural tendencies and brutal conflicts which wouldn't happen in a balanced eco-system.
j2e2c 1 year ago
We pretty much eliminated natural selection for our species by adopting a policy of mutual consent for mating, by eliminating many diseases that would plague us, and by controlling our enviroment, instead of adapting to it.
Dont get me wrong, it works for other species fine, because there is nothing else to keep them updated for any enviromental changes.
But we have. Having real natural selection would mean abolishing civilisation itself. And i bet you dont whant to give up its comforts.
Hyeesa 1 year ago
@Hyeesa actually if I could have a world free of a large federal govt, a world who didn't give handouts to those who weren't actually in need but were just unwilling to work, a world were a man's survival was based upon him being able to hunt, gather, or farm or at least have a skill that he was able to provide services for his keep then I would be quite happy. In a heartbeat!
job1181 1 year ago
@job1181 I'm not sure what you mean by welfare state. But I think what you're talking about is leftist policies and equity/fairness. Welfare states make sure that the poor, homeless and jobless - etc - get a basic standard of living. That's got nothing to do with laziness. A poor worker might work hard every day for a greedy employer and get paid next to nothing. Who other than the WORKING CLASS would be entitled to benefits? Think about it.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@job1181 What's a job seekers allowance? Well, it's simple... when there's not enough jobs to go around due to limited resources (thus unequal opportunities from the day you're born, regardless of your genes) and also because of companies shutting down because the masses (mostly working class) don't have spending power to buy the goods that the companies sell, then those people who never had the money or opportunity to produce their own equity (i.e work for themselves rather than a ...

What it actually means is that to some extent, another organization is in control of your equity... thus it is further from a free-market stance.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@job1181 ... meaning that I end this argument by saying: Your idea would be a twisted version of natural selection -- a natural selection that is manipulated by certain individuals who you might deem superior, in an environment that cannot naturally sustain itself. But it wasn't the environment we built for ourselves that made us act decently and share/give etc.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@job1181 Even if we had our man-made environment all stripped away from us, the best thing to do would still be to give, share and be kind to one another, as it is behavior that we've learnt over the ages. It is behaviour that has had some use for our adaptation as a species.

@j2e2c lets see... on your well overly winded rant on defending the welfare state, which is any state/country that gives a check to someone who isn't working for, simply put I am tired of paying for people who have done nothing top deserve it. It's a simple concept, if you roll up to the welfare office driving a lexus you should be shot. As for your hippie we should all love each other bullshit... fly to any arab country and go hug a terrorist and find out how far that logic gets you.
job1181 1 year ago
@job1181 Welfare state means a bit more than that, and there are varying definitions. There's books on the subject of defining exactly what it is, including statistics. It's not limited to the jobless. You are singling out one sort of person to justify your viewpoint. Shooting someone for driving a Lexus to the welfare office is a mind-boggling concept, I have to say. It's just obtuse; you don't single out one sort of person and come to the conclusion that your contribution is invalid.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@job1181 I'm going to rant, aren't I, when you suggest that a good solution is to simply kill people because of their attitude, level of conformity, or genetics? Perhaps it's in my nature to feel strongly against that kind of discrimination, as it's counter-productive. It's an ideal, you jerk; I know full well that confronting those with extremist ideas and talking of "love not war", simply won't work because some groups of people are so stirred up that force is the only option left.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@job1181 The only thing that anyone should be shot for (forget about your welfare, genetics, or Lexus nonsense) is for participating in a war. That makes perfect sense. By the way, this world doesn't just work by numbers and logic. The courts, one would hope, are controlled by people of the highest moral calibre. The logic comes down to the deductions, for who has done what and the conclusions (yes or no) based on the evidence. In this case the bullies didn't kill her, bullying was pre-meditated
j2e2c 1 year ago
@job1181 BUT THEY STILL DIDN'T KILL HER. Now, what the majority of Humans would consider as good ideals are ones which are related to compassion and altruism. Extremists, on the other hand, have vested interests. You are one such person. You're an extremist, and your ideals are far from realistic. The world really wants to avoid bloodshed and war, but there's usually one person with his finger on a button, with his own needs to serve. Bullying is a childish selfish act -- adults shouldn't bully.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@j2e2c Well you're right to say that there are many forms of welfare, and to be even handed the few types that I support are one for any military vets, especially injured ones because they have truely paid their dues to their country. This however would exclude John Kerry types that got their purple hearts for valiantly shooting themselves in the foot. The second type I would support would be for the old who could prove they worked all their life and deserve a certain quality of life in the end.
job1181 1 year ago
@job1181 People should have to earn things, I agree. And there are greedy, manipulative people about... which is unfortunate. Usually these people have some real influence. If you think that people who get a small welfare allowance are a problem, you're mistaken. They're not powerful, and the government knows that they need some spending power to keep them from being an angry mob. But you'd prefer it if they're an angry mob who don't really earn anything because earning relates to stable growth.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@j2e2c Well since everyone in that angry mob would be pissed off because the Fed Govt. and State Govt. finally pulled their heads out of their respected asses and cut off the tax payer money that supported their laziness and ability to afford pre-stated lexus type items without a day of hard work, that would suit me just fine. Since they would be an angry mob it would justify the killing of each and everyone one of them which would dramatically lighten the deficits. Same goes for a union mob.

@job1181 I think I'm done arguing with Texicans for the time being. You'll never learn.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@j2e2c Oh yeah I nearly forgot your hippie anti-war BS. I could quote logic with "If you want peace then prepare for war" but I don't think you'll understand that concept. So as far as you saying I'm an extremist, actually I'm in one of two majorities, you have a large chunk of people on each end of the spectrum of each side of an issue and then you have this spineless blob of people in the middle. The reason you want to say "everyone is really good deep down" is because you're in this blob.
job1181 1 year ago
@job1181 Of course I understand the concept "if you want peace then prepare for war" but what I think is worth pointing out is that war doesn't mean killing eachother in bloody battles; sometimes they are non-violent wars. By the way, you're just some guy in Texas with a limited view on the world. You think you're a majority. How sad. You're not. Fine, go ahead and come up with analogies... they don't mean anything. There are 3 ends to the spectrum, and the middle one requires sensible planning.
j2e2c 1 year ago

By the way, I'm not really sure what surveys you're thinking of... but I don't define my viewpoints based on surveys with limited choices.
j2e2c 1 year ago
@j2e2c Oh just those random surverys that a news organization puts out or that Rasmussen's website runs, and it's really broad issues. But regardless of the issue be it health care, gun laws, taxes, economy, etc, etc you get the majority of people on one side or the other. The group that annoys me are the ones smack in the middle who check the box labled "unsure" or "I don't know", which means these people have no opinion therefore they don't need to count within the system.

@whirliegig
Yeah. Just get rid of the students. No more students = No more students being bullied. Problem solved.

How dare these bullies play innocent when they even continued their taunts on facebook after the girl's death? Calling for exemplary punishment.
Majik47 1 year ago
Incredible! Bullying happens everywhere, in every country, in every school. Bullies grow up to be absolutely normal people, with job, family, kids, a house and a car. Many of them become successful businessman, politicians. And now the lives of those 9 poor kids are destroyed, because somebody committed suicide? Is it their problem that somebody couldn't stand some school bullying?
valgez 1 year ago
@valgez Um, yes it is their problem because they chose to engage in the bullying. You can't honestly justify this because of what these idiots MIGHT grow up to be. No doubt in my mind you're a bully yourself and just like all bullies you need someone to break your jaw before you stop mistreating people. Disgusting.
LibertineDeSade 1 year ago
@LibertineDeSade Idiots? Just ordinary people, they'll grow absolutely normal people, unlike those who couldn't ... well, their fucking parents whose function is to spot when smth. is wrong and teach their children live in the world, help them develop thick skin and so on. I'm not a bully and never been, just saying that nobody has a power to change this, in fact, natural process of establishing pecking order, just part of a selection process, the weakest is picked on, so don't be the weakest
valgez 1 year ago
@valgez You're acting like it's just a bit of taunting, if that were the case I'd agree with you. But it's physical confrontation, and harassment outside of school.
You may claim to not be a bully, but you're just as bad you're in for a rude awakening if you think childhood bullies don't grow up to be adult bullies. They do and it's worse.
"just part of a selection process, the weakest is picked on, so don't be the weakest" <~~~ Yeah? Tell that to the kids that died at Columbine.

"Tell that to the kids that died at Columbine."
You can't. They're dead.

@meric2 Um, IDK if you're being sarcastic or you don't understand irony... but that was my point.
LibertineDeSade 1 year ago
@LibertineDeSade The colombine situation is different. This is cyberbullying. You can't get bullied online if you dont get online. Tell me the reasonable explination beyond that point? No computer, no internet, no cyberbullying. Ah....ya, also no text messaging monthly payment. There are the simple solutions...... If people still kill themselves because of cyberbullying and ignore the simple solutions, than these people are idiots. Common sense is not so common.
runhorun 1 year ago
@runhorun This was NOT just cyber-bullying. The video clearly states the bullying happened in person as well as online.
My opinion on cyber-bullying is very different than my opinion on bullying in person. I wasn't commenting on cyber-bullying at all.
