Yeah, I used to go to the Elks Lodge with my parents for Sunday brunches and holidays. I actually went for Easter this year, first time in probably 10-12 years. Old school, the clientele is 60-70-80 somethings and a few families with kids. Feels like you walk into a time machine back into the early 1960s or something with the fashion and old decor.

Just as a point of information. I was in that video shot in Winnipeg. McGregor Armeries Hall.I'm the guy with the glasses and mustache in the fight scene. We had a great time filming this video. I had no idea who the Weakerthans were. However have since grown to like their music. I often thought of posting the video, however didn't want problems with copy write. I read somewheres that the band played a lot of Elks Lodge halls in the earlier days of their career, and wound up hanging out and drinking with the Elks members after their shows. This song is meant to be a tribute to them.

Theres a Elks Lodge in a town like 15 minutes from my hometown its funny to because i totally went back to when i was in The Elks Lodge at a dance throwin down i was a breakdancer then it was only 6 years ago but anyways This song i really think is liked by millions around the world Im one of those millions from Edmonton Alberta Canada :)
