  • smoke crack in da hallways

  • This reminds of 7th grade!!! Buckshot even looks like Rakim lol. Classic real Rap.

  • classic. lol this is before flex had personality

  • Put your fits Up.1Harlem Larry G NYC Hip Hop

  • Is buckshot rakim's brother? flows are alike?

  • Brooklyn all day & nite, on da realz Funk Flex sold out, and BCC needs to be on the air....hot97 sounds like a trash rap station from the south nowadays!

  • I wish I had that instrumental on the second part. Shit is on fire.

  • this was my shit!!! BROOKLYN!!!!

  • this ismy SHIT!

  • This was hot when it dropped.... Buckshot and Flex did their thing..... The funny thing is this came out when Flex controlled the mainstream hip hop airwaves. Other radio stations stayed away from hip hop in Nyc. So whatever Flex played dictated what was the mainstream of hip hop in that era. He choose well because his selection at times was on point. And that was just one radio station. Nowadays there's a whole bunch of them and all they play is repetitive dribble. Smdh. Hip-hop I miss u

  • That chick is swizz beats ex wife. mashonda lol. smh

  • Rap is still real, hip hop is for the voice of the youth-new generation, new soil -I still love hip hop,I like some of the stuff that is out. some hip hop my not be deep like it once was is no reason to be upset at new kats trying to get shine. My soil describing hiphop is just deep, let the new Kats roots reach further down to fully understand what the old school set up for them-I like Waka flaka because he's all about fun in his music.

  • omg!!! this was my jawn!!!!......

  • Maceo Parker Pass the Peas sample!

    groovy shit

  • Buckshot is one of the coolest dudes ever fo real!

  • the four people who disliked this dont know hiphop

  • BUCKSHOT SHORTY CONTROL DA MIKE

  • 笑死我了 这是rakim他儿子吗?

  • Damn, what was this? Grade 9? Time flies

  • i dont why but i just love when the chick approaches him for nothing...shes cute.

  • This was and still sick!!!!! Especially how Buck ripped it on the Salt n Pepa beat!

This was Hip Hop and Music in general was taken over by the big four !! They killed real music.

  • Flex tried his damndest to ruin this jam.

  • crazy how buckshot looks like rakim's younger brother

  • @gotjuice9 I know right!!! In that Buck 'em Down video when he was wearin the general gear he looked just like Rakim in the Move the Crowd video. It's bizarre. lol

  • dam this shit is hard i forgot about this video

  • mastaaa ace and buckshot got the flows black moonnn

  • this shit shtill rocks. We out here in Brooklyn remember the old albee square mall where he shot the first part.

  • This tape was my shit in the 5th grade....damn near 26 years old now

  • @pokeyd85 when i was around 7 or 8 (1996?) one of my dad's delivery trucks had a funkmaster flex mix in it cuz some of his drivers were a couple dudes who lived in the crappy housing projects across the street from the factory. flex your jam reached HOPEWELL, VIRGINIA that long ago! i also remember a busta/flipmode tape in that truck..

  • @pokeyd85 just dont 4get our hip hop

  • yep, "Everybody Get up" by Salt N Pepa

  • the beat at 2:20 was actually an old Salt-n-Pepa joint if I remember correctly. flex just tweaked it a little. this is one of my favorite songs ever! Only Buckshot could recreate a classic Rakim joint and do it right. I doubt most emcees would even try.

  • where can i find this?

  • Buckshot is a REAL NIGGA---

  • the beat at 2:20 is ridiculous!!

  • @thebigbudzy marco polo redid tat on Bomb Shit by ruste juxx buh d 1 in dis video is better XD

  • jb's (sample)!!!

  • 5 MICS IN THE STREET SOURCE MAGAZINE

  • MOO-SOCK-KEY LAND IS WEALTHY

  • Classic. This was my Shyt!!!

  • LOLL there's a kinda chick's mascott in the crowd.

  • This is a great remake. The weird thing is, he kinda looks like Ra. I never even noticed that.

I was honestly disappointed in Flex Vol. II. I'll bet it aged well, though, and I still played the hell out of it even back then. I may throw this on for old times' sake.

  • @spideymayne LOL yeah he does hahahha, his nose and slimmer face! I just noticed that again (Years ago I did but just now thought of it again). Two fo the best to do it IMO, great cover here mixed in with his own lyrics.

  • What happened to the wheels of steel?

  • Big Ups to Buck and Blackmoon and peace2 Rakim (still rated R and no Joke). 5000G

  • where can i download this song??? i have tried to get it but i wasnt successful

    thanks for the future answeres:D

  • they are both rap songs

  • same beat same title song, basically the same song

  • nothing just buck flowing over their classic song... even using some of ra's lyrics in his own way... funkmaster flex's sht was mixtape sht... freestyles over beats

  • o kurwa ale to klasyk jest, kto tego nie zna jest lamą!

    mad props from Poland!

  • buckshot is a originator real talk his flow never will change real hiphop

  • good shit ;) PRIDE OF POLAND

  • mc ing of the highest level ,buckshot!!!!!!!!!!!

  • The real name of this song is really '' no joke/follow me'' ? 'cause I don't find the track on limewire :S If you have this song, tell me how to have it :)

  • bro, just try "youtube to mp3 converter" :)

  • holy shit thats before blk moon I think... damn thats hella young

  • no this is after blackmoon

  • Oh well for some reason he looks really young here.

  • buck shot is so underated

  • buckshot... bdi! ...love this video... iremember watching this ish back in the day... i recorded a whole bunch of videos on vhs back then!

  • People make a big deal today about the sing song styles of Drake, Lil Wayne etc.. But back in 94-95 Buckshot had a sing song flow, Method Man had a sing song flow so I think they were the originators and it wasn't no gimmick shit, that's how they really spit.

  • Classic shit right here.

  • He's talking about his homie Tupac in his second verse ( Who remembers the panthers ? Who can get the average man to think with a military mind perpared get ready 2 bomb first ) HARD SHIT !!

  • Holy F, how old is BUckshot in this video? He looks damn young!

  • when this song was on tv a long time ago made me want to buy funkmaster flex's albums

  • bout time this vid got posted, GOOD FUCKING looks,

look at Flex this is when it was alright for commercial DJ's to play lyrics, beats, and hardcore music like this. this is when BET was true and different from pop culture, damn how times change

  • i remember back when i was 6 in 1997, my dad used to play this song all the time in his 95 diamante

  • You know why I got respect for Buckshot? Cause he's real, he had learn in his life and he's not a sucker, he's free like a bird man, stronger than whatever man

  • classic!!! 2nd song is the best to me.. Real hip hop

  • Buckshot is just nasty.

  • haha, this is one of my favorite songs front and back, i bump this like it just came out yesterday!

  • Boot Camp Click 's sweet as hell ya´ll

  • yo fams Bootcamp still out and strong, just gotta pick up they material!!!they ain't on the radio no more but trust me fams they still do it for the hardcore, underground, and street hip hop junkies...

    peace

  • @DiamondOX77 BCC never went anywhere man! They still making quality records!

  • @bosman1988 Hell yeah! Buckshot and 9th wonders series has been nothing but amazing IMO! Buck still got it as well. They are not mainstream no, but they still do some tight shyt.

  • Why Can't i find follow me by buckshot the whole song? I can only find the instrumental? Is there another name for that song?

  • say word, what you got that i'll email the mp3!!!

  • The second half of that was the start of the 7 min freestyle cut from Funk Flex Vol 2. That 7 min track with all off BCC on was prob the best group representive I've heard on a mix tape. Mid 90's all about Wu Tang and Boot Camp.

  • YES SIRRRRRRRR, two supergroups.

  • Was that Easy-E in the video next to Buck?

  • nah, Eazy was dead already. this track was from mid 96, E died early 95. Buckshot was close with Tupac tho, even at the time of the East/West drama and before Pacs death.

  • @AvenueD417 yeah Pac fucked wit the Boot Camp niggaz cause they was real niggaz.

  • this song was so dope back in the day.. still is today.. Nobody comes out with stuff like this these days.. lil wayne sucks ass

  • HEATROCKS!!! I CANT GET ENOUGH!!!

  • Fucking Crazy 96 Hardbody Shit!!! Where you at NY? Fire!!!!!

  • The "Follow me" part of this video was my shit!

  • Buck Shot one of the Best still knee high deep in da game!! One of the few who Neva Souled Out and kept it gutter till this day..and he has amassed crazy paper owning his own shit now..Stay Real!!

  • Loved this video back in the day!!!

  • Buck was def. a star who really just had some bad breaks business-wise at the time. I honestly believe that if he had been on the right label with the right production and team behind him to push his records around '96-'97, he coulda been much bigger than he was.

  • Buck was dope as hell!!!!!!! I agree with what you said, he had it all, all the talent in the world (Still does). He could have really blown then, he was on his grind and comeback at that time, I remember it. BCC got big around that time, and he made his comeback as their leader and came strong.

  • buck still doing his thing and still bring heat!!!

just check out krs one and buckshot robot!!!

they dropping survival skills soon, these cats still around just gotta follow them and stay away from the radio

  • I am a HUGE fan of Chemistry and Formula, hell yeah Buck does his thing.

  • NO one can bring it like this right now, CRAZY!

  • buck is one of the most underatted cats out, man yo, look, my man and 9th wonder perfect combo, enta da stage NOW!!!

  • It's called conforming.

  • The song at the second half of this video is hot.

  • yo man this was released in the '97, not 96

  • around this time in '96, buckshot was a prominent emcee who could his own wit Big, Jay, nas, Pac. Pac must have seen somethin in him to work with him on an album. Even though Pac wasnt messin with the east coast, i think eventually he would have. and i think him and Big would of worked things out.

Buckshot is one of few who can say he worked with Big & pac.

  • when he came out the car in the beginning, he really did look like Rakim for a split second <_<...

  • This was before Funk Flex sold out.

  • love U Buck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Where can I get the full version of follow me. That was my favorite song back in the day

  • Yeah make that 2.

I went nuts when I recorded this on tape. This is way better than when salt & pepa did it.

I think he starts the 2nd verse by saying "how many mc's must get dissed." damn

  • Sorry 2 say but ur wrong. If u can find da whole version of this song, u know dat da 2nd verse starts off like...."U never heard anotha emcee like me/so poetically on point it's ridiculous/hittin' every key, bass line when I'm ripping this...."

  • That song you are looking for is Follow My Lead remix on BDI thug, an extra song I believe? I got it off of I Tunes as an extra from that album for 99C, and that song is RAW AS FUKK!!!! That version is easily better.

    Damn thats song is raw.

  • I got the BDI thug on tape and cd its not on there. Its on funk flex VOL.. 2

  • Oh sorry man I meant the remix to Follow My Lead not this or the original follow my lead. The remix is raw and it's at the end or a bonus I believe on certain Buck BDI thug CD's, the one I got in 99 did not have it. You are right on this song though I had this one in 97 from the CD. I had a full version of I aint no joke too with a third verse on CD somewhere, straight RAW! BDI is that dude.

  • Im not calling you a lier, but I do have Kid Capri's Sound Track to the Streets. There's a Follow My Lead on there feat. Smif & Wessun, maybe thats the one you're thinking of ?

  • Naw I had that one too, it was on the BDI thug version that was released later on, not the one released in 99. The remix is fire, find it of you can if not I will find it and try to get it to you.

  • best of buckshot periodddddddd

  • Ahh, sounds like real Hip Hip the soundtrack of my life.

  • raw uncut fucker this is hip hop you lames i dont listen to the radio almost a year now like dead prez said turn it off thanks youtube

  • does anybody kno what sample is used for i aint no joke i been tryna find that shit out for a minute

  • this was remake of Eric B & Rakim's "I Ain't No Joke". but the track was a sample of "Pass the Peas" by the J.B.'s

  • man i feel you i haven't listen to da radio or rap city or 106 and park.the shit they play is bubble gum.niggas these days dont even understand shit like black moon.i see at least hip hop survives

  • the Second Beat iS crazy...I Love dat shit, reaL hip Hop sound..

  • buckshot=king of backpacker emcees!!!

  • tha backpack mcs movement in tha early 90s was tha shit

  • i fuckin hate rap.but i luuuuv hip hop.and yes there's is a difference muthafuckas

  • we know muthaphucka, ya not the only one....

  • what the fuck!! I want the last song on this video posted!! who got it?? it's called "Follow Me" remix.. NOT THE ONE WITH COCOA BROVAZ OR SMIFF AND WESUN.. WHO GOT IT?

"cuz when i was down, you was on the other side of town getting done by Starang".. shit is fire!!

  • Ya I'm looking for the Follow me remix too!!!! I'm not sure if there is a video for it. Big chune!!!

  • I don't think there's a follow my lead remix video, but you can download the song on Limewire.. SHIT IS OFF THE HOOK!!!

  • For real!!!!!!!!!! Sick tune!!!

  • FUCK YEAH BUCKSHOT NIGGAH WHAT

  • BUCK KILLS IT!!!!!

  • just when u thought it was safe.... i came back w the double d plan!!

  • I like that joint he did w/ Q-tip called 'The Showdown.' Classic FunkFlex & Buckshot though. Man i miss the 60mins of funk mixtapes.

  • BCC ALL DAY KIDD!!!!

  • This was that shit. These BCC all day. They still make good music. But nothing can compare to BCC Early-Mid 90's they had that heat. They still got it though.

  • too right the first round of bbc albums are classics

  • F-F-F-F-FREESSHHHH Home Boy!

  • this joint was da shitm in '96! Buckshot at the time a was real prominent MC, and BCC was that group!!! it was all good in '96 man, i miss those days!!

  • ture ture

  • Man, I ain't seen this video since it first came out! WOW!! Glad for Youtube!!

  • follow my lead was my JOINT! buck ripped that shit...this was back when Flex was on the BCC's dick hard....i still bump BCC over these new one-album ponie crews

  • Buck da Great!!!!

  • on some real shit, only a select few could remake a classic like ain't no joke like buck did. straight fire right here.

  • now i need a Rakim & Buckshot collabo!

  • on the new buckshot joint comein out next mouth with 9th i heard there was one joint on there that had krs one rakim Q tip and lord jamal man if this tru i know HIPHOP is back for it 2nd life i cant whate the BCC is Stonger then evere rigth now BCC all day

  • I feel you...HIP HOP needs a shot like that in the arm....Boot Camp is one of the most underated crews in Hip Hop!
