I remember after seeing Darren perform in Sunderland, he walked past me and I felt I had to say something to show my gratitude to him making such incredible music. It didn't quite come out right and i mumbled something about one of his lyrics which really cuts through me, which is from this song ("I think about you now and then, You're dressed to head to toe in H&M..." He said 'thank you', which I suppose is the best outcome I could've hoped for. So if you are reading this Darren, cheers mate.

seriously, i never could get sick of darren's songwriting. so glad i took the chance and picked up a hefner album for $1 at a flea market forever ago.

darren is such a nice guy. I met him in person but he was gutted we qued to shake hands and not buy his cds ha ha but through the net he has been helpful with music advice and band advice. I like how doesn't go over the top with his music but puts thought into it. an artist
