The lead sound you use (atleast in the beginning) sounds very dry. I beleive you could make it better with some reverb and maybe a soft & good quality flanger on a low volume, to make it sound more interesting.

You have got everything written very good, but I actually do not like the sound very much.

What you're listening to is actually the "Dry" version of the song. There's no effects whatsoever. It's not the same version as the finished song, which has it's fair share of reverb.

Doesn't matter much now though because this song was done years ago and it's really not going to change lol.

Very nice. I like the extra touches, and the orchestration is very appropriate, IMO. You should concider finishing at least the soundtrack and releasing it at some point. Chrono Resurrection's potential is too great for any of it to go to waste, really.

Of course it was transcribed to MIDI. All the music was. It had updated instrumentation. The original was in MIDI for SNES form as well, perhaps that's why you feel this way.
