and for ansering your question: the feeling that bring those first ff games are differents than the new one, its kinda hard to explain, but the only thing i can tell you, that is those final fantasy are magic. FF 12 , at his limit is magic too.
Final fantasy XIII was disapointing to me, no city, heal after battle, shop at the save point and when your main character die in battle, its game over.

@mitoko What makes FFXIII not magical? It has the same 'magical' environments. You can't list 'heal after battle' as a con, the battle mechanics can't be compared. You take more damage and that's why you heal after battle, it's more strategy orientated but it's still balanced out. HP values are different in this game. stfu.

I can't wait to play this and versus XIII. I think the more action oriented gameplay will freshen up the series and make it more enjoyable in a different way. I especially want to play Versus XIII. The real world like setting of that game feels so different and interesting. Like normal everyday people in an everyday major city or something using magic and fighting beasts.

The Fabula Nova Crystallis means that each title is worthy of being a main entry to the final fantasy xiii compilation, so they shared the name since each one is another take on the same mythology. each game is COMPLETELY UNRELATED to each other. Versus has NOTHING to do with XIII or agito and the same with the other two. They only share a mythology, that's it.

@ryuuchisaito I'm thinking so because the PSP2 is going to be announced sometime in January and that means that it'll probably either be out at the end of this year or the start of next. Because of that, Sony's going to be focusing more and more on that system instead of the original PSP. Same thing with the developers. That's why I said that Final Fantasy Type-0 will more than likely be the last great PSP game because I doubt that Square-Enix will want to focus on old tech.

The Fabula Nova Crystallis means that each title is worthy of being a main entry to the final fantasy xiii compilation, so they shared the name since each one is another take on the same mythology. each game is COMPLETELY UNRELATED to each other. Versus has NOTHING to do with XIII or agito and the same with the other two. They only share a mythology, that's it.

@blackpoker each game's stories our completely unrelated. I think that Versus 13 must have some type of link to 13, otherwise it would have been renamed as well. They said that themselves, Agito was changed because it had nothing to do with 13. I'm having trouble finding the article that is over a week old but it's what they said.

Agito was deemed too different to be a normal final fantasy. The renamed it in hopes of making a spin off series call Type. They already Trademarked Type-1, 2, and 3. It still is part of the compilation because of XIII's mythology.

@blackpoker if that's what you were doing then fucking do it. i saw an article that definitely mentioned Type-0 name change was due to it not having much to do with 13 as a whole. it still is a fnc title though. that was all i said. that is what i saw personally. if you have anything to contradict this, show it and don't act like an asshole using all caps.

@ryuuchisaito I'm thinking so because the PSP2 is going to be announced sometime in January and that means that it'll probably either be out at the end of this year or the start of next. Because of that, Sony's going to be focusing more and more on that system instead of the original PSP. Same thing with the developers. That's why I said that Final Fantasy Type-0 will more than likely be the last great PSP game because I doubt that Square-Enix will want to focus on old tech.
