  • Classic! PAC man lol!

  • This trailer is bitchin, it's all retro...

  • @SpikeMichaels get a brain fool

  • wtf is this junk trailer

  • classic 80's movie!

  • shut up white man

  • "hey hodges homes you back in the jungle?this aint the jungle this is like DisneyLand.."

  • this movie actually made gang problems worse after it came out

  • @Butown lol true

  • @Butown probabley it was ment for gang members to get pissed off and kll each other by the gouverment

  • @Butown It seems that way but if you look back at a old chicano magazine called Teen Angels, you will see 100s of differnt gangs from 1981 - 1988.

  • who are the two black guys in the mexican gang

  • @mcfast123 It's a mix gang!

  • @mcfast123 There was two in that gang, Spanky and Looney Tunes, back then blacks were accepted in mexican gangs, it wasnt about race at all like it is now, It got like that in the 90s.

  • 240p we meet again

  • @MegaDragon117

    hahaha:D

  • bloodz or crips? like 4 bloodz dislike 4 crips

  • It really does look like a "Police vs Mafia" kind of movie to me.

  • CIPS RULE WORLDWIDE

  • @WhiteGringo1 crips???? fake white boy XD

  • SOME STRATE L.A. 1980'S GEE-BANGIN SHIT!!!

  • theres these two bulls standing on top of a hill looking down a herd of cattle and the son says dad lets run down and fuck one of those cows down there and the father says no son lets walk down and fuck them all

  • if anyone can help me, in the movie there is a scene where a kid throws a rock at the cop car any one know what part of LA that was filmed at

  • "AINT NO FUTURE IN IT"

  • Dumbest movie ever.....

  • what's the music?

  • @HabboAster its the film score composed by herbie hancock

  • when i visited the US saw this film in its first week of release ,and gang related violence broke out in some cinemas .

  • This could have been a great, but hopper made it into another cop buddy movie. The film should have been about how the gangs deal with each other, and the cops. Not cops on how they deal with each other and gangs. And the only gang that's given any attention,is one that's not even the bloods or the crips. Also, some pretty bad 80's music doesn't help.Herbie hancock?lol

  • You have a point. It would have been good if the perspective was from the gangs and not from the cops. Still, I think the movie captured feel of Watts and other neighborhoods at that time rather well, the dress and the mode of expression.

  • @faustozone It has some great scenes, especially the drive-by scenes:One of the first scenes, where the blood is blown away in his front yard, the one while their having a dance party, the ending when that little crosseyed vato giggles, when duvall dies, because he felt betrayed. Some of the shoot outs had moments, but mostly looked to staged, like towards the end at the crips hangout. The whole movie seems to tame, and that penn/alonso love story was ridiculous. It just doesn't hold up.

  • @TheGatorfan93 They didnt even show the bloods hardly it was about the crips and cholos wich is still the most popular type of gangs out there. Cholos and Crips.

  • This was my movie man

  • 0.59 would sting like a motherfucka

  • 90s was a big gang truce

  • @GrassLok that gang truce didnt last long, the crips and bloods truce didnt last long as much as the cholos truce against eachother didnt last either.

  • 2Pac would have been great in this had he starred - RIP!

  • What's the music?

  • Seen this shit so many times I know every line of dialogue by heart. Absolute classic.

  • Could anybody tell me who has composed this track and has it a name?

  • whod have thought 30 years later that statement of "always gonna be gangs" would be so true today.

  • @tech4156 me

  • hopefully that asshole will smith wont remake this with jaden as rocket

  • @pervmanyesican

Aw.. god... no ..no please! ...NOOOOOOOOO!!!

    (lol)

  • @pervmanyesican ROFLMAO! Perfect comment! LOL!

  • @pervmanyesican I wouldnt mind if they remade this with modern gangs but have a good director do it good producer ect...

  • Ay yo Rocket's gonna pop it and nothin's gonna stop it!

  • @00woolley shut the fuck up T bone!!!!! NO disrespect

  • I heard of this Film when it first came out but didn't think it would appeal to me . Then it came recommended by a friend at my summer job . I was 14 back then and very impressionable. Its hard hitting . Sean Penn as always is great to watch .

  • Einer der besten Gangfilme aller Zeiten. Back to the 80´s

  • This, is the best gangster film. ( 'American Me' is good too)

Menace to Society, and South Central, are weak because they are NOT about gang banging. Even though they were both set in South LA, they totally avoided dealing directly with gangstas. Weak ass movies.

This film is about gang banging, through-and-through, very 1988.

Awesome how it captured that time perfectly.

The car chase through Watts really showed off the neighborhood as it was then, very realist.

  • @faustozone Now aint never see this movie but Menace to society is a classic! South central on the other hand, you got a point about

  • @ElectricBlueOil , thats exactly what i said when i first saw this film in the early 90's. i thought the whole "white guy hanging with chicanos" was weird until i read about Joe "Pegleg" Morgan. he was one of the top dogs of the Mexican Mafia and he was 100% white.

  • the movie is more than just cops bustin caps in gangstas. watch the movie you'll really like it

  • Gay music great movie

  • ahhhh t-bone is funny as shit!!!!

  • i dont wanna whatch the movie i cant whatch cops kill thugz and spray pepper spray in tha eyez

  • @ihavebeaverteeths <its not pepper spray its spray paint hahahahahaha and who cares its a fuckin movie and a great one you should really get off your high horse and watch it before you comment

  • its funny because colors is actuly spelt colours britain is older than america so why change spelling just because its cooooool

  • @jockrockwell chata

  • NIggers are the fucking scum of the EARTH!

  • idk what's scarier....the guys voice in the end or the shitty quality of this trailer....

  • @ElectricBlueOil Yeah, that shit was weird. Weird how some ginger and a couple of blacks were allowed in a Chicano gang.

  • gonna watch this tonight after smoking a blunt

  • so G

  • gta san andreas

  • @MrGmanx I thought I was the only that noticed that GTA San Andreas was based on Colors. It was also based on other gangster films such as Boyz N' The Hood and Menace to Society. Officer Tenpenny and Pulaski (Who ironically is voiced by Chris Penn, Sean Penn's brother who plays Pacman) are based on Pacman and Officer Hodges in C.R.A.S.H. with Grove Street Families and Ballas and the Vagos/Aztecas being parodies of the Crips and Bloods.

  • @HypocriteSkeleton3 how about gta was based on gangs san adreas based on L.A gangs the same as those movies dumb ass

  • fck pacman

  • no ones gonna pop it and no ones gonna rock it look what i got to rocket naz.....les get high so a nigga can die! haha

  • I SEENT IT!

  • Rocket don't smoke, Rocket don't joke.

Crazy times but glad it aint like that anymore.

  • pause at 0:28. that guy in the glasses look like the sick guy in terminator 2 who treated john conner's mother like shit.

  • its funny cuz now when they have gangs in movies they have white people and black people together in gangs hahahaha fuck hollywood we all know that gangs are for mexicans and blacks

  • @joshkatell ever watched gangland??? show how stupid u are gangs are more diversed now than ever before only reason why there are only black ppl in this movie is because in that time period the marjority of the gangs were black if they were to do the movie now i could assure u that it will be multiple ethnictys

  • @h8terzfallbak what white black gang is there? name it

  • @joshkatell did u read the fucking comment??? i didnt say there was a specific gang of just white and black ppl i said there are gangs with white and black people dumb fuck

  • @h8terzfallbak eat a dick queer

  • @joshkatell u r full of shit u dick head white supremacy der iz gangs of all races so learn ur facts check it up

  • @joshkatell Back in the day gangs were multi cultural like Watts for example used to be watts varrio grape it was black and mexican and a very big gang until the mexicans went under the sureno banner. only more now its less diverse

  • Great fucken gang movie.

    Look at me Pac Man

    It's me too man.

  • Gangs in LA we never die....We just multiply.

  • There's two bulls standing on top of a mountain. The younger one says to the older one: "Hey pop, let's say we run down there and fuck one of them cows". The older one says: "No son. Lets walk down and fuck 'em all"

  • LES BLOODS TRES BON FILM COLORS

  • "theres always gonna be gangs man theres always gonna be fighting"

  • bloods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Honestly the only thing I remember about this movie is Leon who was in the Five heartbeats and he played Little richard was him having sex while the cops surrounded his house, and they show his amazing nude chocolate body at the time humping the girl.....and Damon Wayans dancing in a stereo store in a diaper.....and Sean Penn's amazing pale back during his sex scene with Maria Conchita Alonso.

  • Great movie, great director! RIP Denis... :(

  • The best gang banger movie in my opinion. Dennis Hopper did a great job directing this. Apparently while making it he hung out with real bangers.

  • @whitetrashoutlaw tell me about it, the gangsters looked real now like the ones they protray in movies now days, the up to date gangsters were real looking in this movie and of course mi vida loca, american me and blood in blood out which those took place in the 70s, now they make gangsters look fake and paisa.

  • R.I.P. Dennis Hopper

  • @2213CHOLO he directed this movie huh? he did a great job on this film, these gangsters were updated, now days hollywood doesnt know how to make gangsters look real they look fake in movies now days, but this one was up to date, this is how exactly how the gangsters looked in 1988 - 1992

  • I agree.

The gangsters in this movie are behaving like, and look like real ganstas, surely they must have hired true gangstas to make this great movie.

  • one of the 1st gangster movies made. a classic

  • This is the WORST excuse for LOW SELF ESTEEM. What value is there is colors, gangs, drugs. All these are lies coming straight from the devil himself to decieve the wolrd, or at least the kinds that feed into this.

  • Was that a white guy dressed up as a Crip? I don't think they realized this but, Bloods And Crips Are Strictly African American Gangs....

  • @chevetochaz

Not true actually. Both the blood and the crips are known as black gangs because the majority of the people in those gangs are black, however it's not exclusively black. There's no rule saying that you have to be black to join those gangs. A white guy slipping into a crips gang isn't really that far fetched.

  • @AKenjiB No argument you made a pretty good point. =D

  • Sean Penn, Robert Duvall, and Mario Lopez!

  • i like this movie :) lol - lizyy!<<

  • fuck the red all day

  • This muvee looks sooo sick

  • I never understood why "Malachai" from Children of the corn was kicking it with the Latin Kings in this movie. He's the whitest dude on the planet. red hair, freckels and all.

  • @spinvilchy he said during a interview that he grew up in dangerous parts of LA and knew the drill.

  • where can i download this movie

  • Is this moe of a mexican movie or black? And it's bad ass

  • Comment removed

  • This is more of a black gangsta movie, though Mexicans are included too, but to a lesser extent.

  • @GrassLok Forreal LA now is nothing compared to LA in the 80's early 90's. Before it was about who had the most juice now it's some racial drug money bullshit

  • @GrassLok= They also used real gangsters for the film. I hear one or two of them were shot during the filming.

  • @vigo894 yeh thats true two of them were shot.
