First of all there is no hate in the Bible or in God, God is love for those that believe and follow his commandments. The Bible is a guide for Christian not hate, repent for your sins and he will show oyu his love in forgiving you.

Thanks for your response. The idea of Hell is a threat and it works because people fear the consequences of not obeying God. The idea that your God is the only one breeds mistrust from people of other religions. It's like a wedge dividing societies. Please compare the pagan city of Alexandria vs modern Jerusalem for an example of what I'm talking about. I feel like we would be far better off if the ideas of ancient Greece prevailed instead of Christianity.

So, according to your reasoning in the scriptures, all it takes is to believe in Jesus as your Lord and Saviour?. Interesting, specially when Jesus said that not all who call him Lord, Lord shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven.
Funny though, Islam teaches with the same intensity that Christians are "infidels" & are destined to hell fire. Even more interesting, the Catholics place protestants (like this preacher) either in Purgatory of Hell.

For many years, my response to this video would have been similar to yours. I thought that there was either no God, or that if He did exist, surely He would not punish me or most other people with an eternal Hell. I was wrong on both counts. Every person has done wrong, in thought, word, and deed. These wrongs must be punished, because God is perfectly holy and cannot overlook sin. If you do not accept Christ's punishment for sins, you will pay for your sins yourself in Hell.

HOw do you know? since when are you the final authority on what love truly is. im a little more prone to the definition set by an almighty creator than someone whos mind set and ideas have been influenced by this sinful world. and yes God IS love but hes not a one page book. I think that its pretty safe to say that God may be a little more complex than just being able to feel only one emotion 24/7..

Not even Jesus Christ know the day of judment only the father. He is patient creator who love even the bad apples, He just giving time for human to enlightment themselves and come back to the light of the lord before is too, late. Human brought this themselves; He never want this for us. Unfortunally this has to happend. I dont know why but I guest there is a purpose for everything.
