When you block an underspin ball, the ball will go downward. When you serve an underspin ball, the ball should eventually return to you as the ball grips the table (assuming the ball doesn't fall off the edge of the table).
This looks good to me. Normally I say any return of a chopped ball that is that fast is good. A robot with only one throw wheel can not truly simulate a chopped ball. These balls were coming way too fast. Usually chopped balls kind of float and then drop down without all the forward motion seen in the video. Playing against a real chopper will take some adjustments to the difference in the trajectory between the robot and a real chopper. This is a limitation of one wheel robots.
you should not train so fast on underspin balls, it alters your technique...you should transfer your body more forward....for your backhand topspin go and watch a video on my channel...keep practicing and do not pay attention to negative people...live your dreams..
Depends on what type of loop he's hitting. If he's hitting a slow loop his motion is fine but he's getting too much of the ball. Hear the clunk on everyone of his strokes? Means the ball is being smacked into the blade. Slow loops should only have a "poss" sound which means the ball is being kept out on the sponge. for fast loop, its the right sound, but I agree he should finninsh more forward. What he has is a loop drive. Kind of in between stroke.
Nice, but when facing a real opponent, with greater spin, vary your loops. From fast, until your opponent is way back, then do a short loop with your forearm, and force your opponent back. But nice forehand there.
I try to stay quite stable and concentrate on moving the power from my body to shoulder to elbow wrist /hand all in one long movement, whipping the power out of yourself, this generates your most power and speed at the ball. I have much more movement at the elbow than you. I go from a 15? degree angle to a 90 at the end of the stroke and I can hit very strong loops (top 1% of players) so I don't know what these other guys are saying about not moving your elbow
p.s look around on youtube at the very big looping pros, you will see they all start the loop with a almost fully extended and straight arm, ending at 90 degrees, where you are starting at 90 and not moving it much at all (on your forehand) have a look around anyway, you'll see what I mean. I think kelthuzadman understands how a loops makes it's power one muscle at a time from your core to the hand in a wave (speed at contact with the ball is everything)
Don't listen to the below comments, they don't understand table tennis, the only true thing is that you should move your albow a bit less, and try to stabilize your footing a bit more, other than that its fine, pros move their elbow as well, along with their body, just not that much. The technique is good, just try to use less energy on movement, and relax your muscles a bit more so you can increase the speed at the moment of contact, this is key for topspin, keep it up!
that technique to be optmistic is rubbsih at best.... u really need to get a proper trainer, i can train u for 100 dollars an hour... 'to be the best u have to train with the best'
The technique is not good. When you use forehand topspin,, the elbow should not move. Watch all the top 300 players, their elbow don't move. Only the body move, that's why you can think that their elbow is moving.
Nice work with the legs buddy. But you are sparing too much time for completing the stroke. If you play against a modern defensive player you won't have the time to prepare yourself for the next stroke. ***
I love the expression of my opponent's face when after 3-4 loops by him I flip the racket to vary the spin and thoroughly confuse him. The feeling is incomparable. :)

@fetterkater1 put lots of pressure on the end of your pointer finger and end of your thumb, then stroke using your forearm - not your whole arm. :)
