some people really do have sever neurological impairments but im talking about how people seem to have some symptoms associated with one disorder or another and a doctor diagnoses with a disorder and sells them expensive drugs to make them feel better instead of the person getting to the root of whatever problem is really causing the symptoms.
Then your problem would be with the pharmacutical companies they push their products on doctors and they are the ones that make money on sick people. The doctor gets money whether you are sick or not just by visiting them.

I think it's a legitimate syndrome, because it's more commonly found in relatives of schizophrenics and has been found to have certain measurable cognitive patterns in common with schizophrenia. It can also develop into schizophrenia with time. So it seems the different identifying symptoms are genuinely related in some way and may have the same underlying cause.

right, but the schizotypal person usually just has an original mentality. i think it's ridiculous that believing in telepathy is a "symptom" to this.
besides, schizophrenia is usually hereditary.
i think the patient in the video actually suffers from schizoid personality disorder and paranoid schizophrenia.
