  • nice cocker would make a beautiful pump

  • Little younings shittin ur pants? Im 14 working on my 2nd cocker project(had to get rid of the last) its gunna be a mechanical karnivor i dont even know how many adults have done that ( i dont think many) and now ur sayin younings cant take the cocker? I love cockers more than any other gun and iv shot spools poppits pumps stock class tippmans nts( to me they fall in a different category all together cuz of how butter smoothe they are) and to me the cocker will always live on

  • nice work on reviews bro, love my cocker!! bought a trilogy off craigs list for peanuts, got the pump kit of ans, scraped up some parta here and there now i have a beautiful pump gun that gets more attention than almost any other marker on the field for less than 100 bucks=) people have no problems putting down their luxes or minis or whatever to try my custom cocker pump!

  • Great video. 'Cockers have more character per square inch than any other marker out there. They are semiautomatic pumps. I've always wanted to own a roller sear hinge frame cocker or focker.

  • you are right about the feel of the autococker, first one i owned was a bob long blue splash right hand feed autococker. lol these youngins dont understand why us old ballers love them.

  • How does the ANS frame stack up to say...a benchmark? Just got my cocker, thanks to you. You convinced me on getting my first REAL gun. Your not kidding. Slide triggered cockers are amazing to shoot. I just want to get past the composite frame, it feels cheap.

  • been looking for info on WGP BOSS be curious to see what you come up with

  • i would bot shit my pants shooting a cocket like that lol i would love to get my hands on an autococker of that sort

  • awesome autococker! i hate those ASAs tho lol

  • I love cockers and I think that I'm the only one that uses them in tournaments so there pretty damn reliable. I use all those $1400 markers as my backups since cockers are the best damn shooting guns out there and new players and guys who never used one talk shit about them

  • nice i just bought a pmp industries pump for my trilogy competition autocockers rule fuck batteries

  • I hate that its drilled! You know you can always fill the hole with a weld.

  • Haha... what ram?

  • Wow, I feel like im watching a history channel exlusive on Paintball. hehee. awsome vid

  • 5:43

  • "most of you young'ins... would shit your pants or somethin..." haha so true

    and @tannermmattstupidvids soooo true lol

  • we moved away from wire detents because they are weaker than say a cobra "indestrict-detent" which wew perfect for halos

  • Hey cockerpunk, what kind of ASA is that?

  • cheap wgp asa, found one a stock 2004 prostock

  • i think there still selling them on the check it products pump

  • hey i have a wgp autococker 01 ive tried every thing and it wont shoot a ball out of the barel i recieved it from a friend it has no visible signs of damage so if i like wire you some money or somethinng could you please take a look at it estimate please as well

  • Probably timing, look it up.

  • Haaa haa i love AC's>>!!! (: i have a

1999 STO autococker,,, pushing 13 bps.. it's amazing i love it.. wen i play x-ball with like beginers and everything... i play with it.. juss like my pump until some bitch bonus balls me then i bring my sleeper!>. Ego9..or the occasional PikkaDoll.. just to get there bijazz backk!! there stupid

  • every time you say ans it sounds like anus

i dont like the anus ram

    lol great video

  • pop...pop...pop....chaggaza..chaggaz...chaggaza rofl but nice cocker

  • HAHA Revenges!!!

A partially deaf guy at my local field plays speedball with a Revenge every weekend and smokes EVERYONE (this guy is SERIOUS though. SCARY!).

  • HAHA, ok, for about 45 seconds i just rewound to 5:41 over and over again. Do it, you'll be happy you did XD

  • i love autocockers. people at the field i work at hate me because i love old and weird guns, and can shoot them out with them.

and as for mags, sure things aren't flying around everywhere, but you have some sense of what the gun is doing from the actuator rod being pulled

  • i want that cocker! please..... i'll give you my left arm for it..... :)

  • See i prefer mags cause they're beautiful as far as the engineering, where as you're right, the cocker is poorly designed, it's ust an auto cocking pump which is a horrible design, but i still want one.

  • hey snoopay700, you have no idea what you are talking about when you say the autococker is a horrible design. the autococker is still to this day one of the best gun designs. the way bud orr designed the pneumatic system to use the exact amount of air needed to operate the gun is phenomenal! a well tuned cocker will blow all but the most expensive, well tuned electros out of the water when it comes to effiencency, accuracy, and overall consistency.

  • Well it's a horrid design in that it was trying to fix a problem with a bandaid rather than trying to innovate something. And for the record, Budd Orr didn't create the cocker, the first one was made by PPS, but since the design wasn't patented Budd borrowed it. The thing about using the right amount of air, that's not that great of an achievement, and they are basically trying to make a gun into a paintgun, rather than making a paintgun from scratch

  • And there are a bunch of other guns that can match the efficiency for roughly the same price. Now then, consistency, there are a lot of markers that have great consistency, as good or better than the cocker. Accuracy though? That's where your argument stopped mattering, no marker is more accurate than another, consistency helps with accuracy but seeing as you separated them i doubt you meant for them to be the same.

  • BS!! You can get a Trilly(just as good as a real cocker) for $70. Name 1 gun you can get for that cheap that will perform as well. Cockers aren't necesarily the best, but EVERY electropneumatic gun is based on the cocker. So yeah, it is inovative. Bud Orr made it; he took a pump and made it pump itself. Sure, its not necesarily the best, but at the time, it was WAY better than mags in terms of consistancy and effeciency.

5:00-6:00 perfectly described the way I feel.

    So, uh, I uh... lol

  • You sir certainly don't know what you're talking about. A lot of electro pneumatic markers are based on the sheridan design, which an autococker is based on. An excal i would say is the only one that really is based on a cocker. However there are a large number not based on the cocker.

And Budd didn't create the cocker, Glenn Palmer did. Also, mags when they first came out weren't the most consistent but a year or so afterward they were as or more consistent depending on the owner.

  • Also, any poppet valve will be pretty much as efficient as a cocker, i know i've been able to get a huge number of shots off of my old spyder, and a phantom can get 40-60 shots (drop out changer, and 60 is the best that i've heard of) off of a 12 gram. Both of these are attributed to the poppet valve more than anything, which a huge amount of markers have.

  • I meant the pneumatic system. Look at a pneumatic solenoid. Looks a lot like an electronically controlled 3-way, doesn't it?

A blowback gun costs about the same as cheaper cockers. Blowbacks are generally pretty poor in terms of consistancy and effeciency. IN THE PRICE RANGE, cockers are about as good as it gets.

I believe Bud Orr created the cocker. There is no proof that Glenn Palmer did(or at least, that I have seen.) Bud Orr is still attributed as the official maker, so...

  • Ok, but Budd didn't come up with the idea of a three way, that sort of technology has been around and Glenn Palmer took it to paintball. The hurricane, which came out before the cocker was thought of, works like a cocker. I can pm you sources saying Palmer came up with the autococker. Budd is just MISTAKEN as the originator.

And blowbacks get good consistency and decent efficiency in my experience. They work the same as a cocker only they use the gas to recock the bolt.

  • Also trillys aren't that great, i would prefer a normal cocker to a trilly if i was going to think about upgrading, trillys are rather difficult to upgrade from what i've heard.

  • Trillies are actually really good. They perform just as well as "real" cockers. The upgrading isn't as easy as a "real" cocker, but its still easy. You might have to buy an adapter to upgrade the LPR, or remove a barb before you can change the ram, but that's still pretty simple stuff.

Glenn Palmer claims he made it. But Bud Orr claims he made it. I believe the one with the patents, Bud Orr. Legally, he made it.

  • Oh, and blowbacks might have good consistancy, but they don't have the same effeceincy. Plus, the ones that have the good consistancy will be twice as much as a Trilogy.

  • No, the ones that are like 60 hafe good efficiency, they use a valve very similar to the cocker, the difference is it allows air into the hammer chamber, that is the only difference, the air used isn't that great.

And send me a link to the patent, but the fact remains that Glenn Palmer had guns out that worked like a cocker before the cocker came out, he didn't patent it because he wanted to see it used more. If Bud has the patent he doesn't deserve it.

  • dear god shut up and take it to PMs.

  • "most of you youngins probably would shit your pants or something..." LMAO

  • undoubtedly! lol

  • Wow, cockerpunk your camera isn't focusing right and its giving me a headache...

  • i know what your saying dude i got a pump cocker with a m24 mod and a karin with a full ups on it but i notice you sayed it fell's like it has it's own sound and fell like no i agre with that othere ive shot them all but the cross men revolvers and the old splat masters you cant call your self a true paintball tell you have owed a cocker

  • but really, im not the type that likes to spray down and waist paint, i am more of a precision shooter, (i like speed ball but i like more scenario) talking those precise shots, and as long as i can unleash a burst of balls (at least 10 or more per sec) im happy :)

  • all i need now is a delrin bolt and sweet barrel, but im keeping everything else stock, it runs beautifully! i bought it back in the days brand new from a gun mechanic for 2 bills, he did some sort of trigger job to it (it still has the stock trigger) to shorten the throw but other then that, everything else is bone stock! i love my 03wgp and wouldnt trade it in for anything else!

  • Comment removed

  • reliable but only problem i had was back in the days, i had a view loader with the little pig tail swirling in it, i still chopped balls like crazy, but now that these new hoppers are out, it totally made my cocker come back to life! all i did was lube up the necessary parts, resurfaced my stock bolt (which was oxidized) and picked up the new hopper for 50 bucks brand new! some fellas at the park were trippin out how fast i was pullling the trigger to show that this thing can really keep up!

  • dude! really! i love my 03 wgp! its been about 6 years now since i last used this thing and i just recently took it back out! I worked flawless! Only because of the new empire reloader with b2 board. Really, now i can pull the trigger as fast as i can and my bone stock cocker can shoot ever shoot! all day i went on enjoying it and never chopped a ball all day! really! only thing i really need though is a barrel, stock one really needs the boot. i know most people say that cockers are not

  • 5:43 just play it over and over =]

  • lol

    i love the spazzing part

i played it like 5 times in a row =]

  • "moving parts everywhere!"

    Made my day

  • Dude... I just picked up a Revenge V2! I'll keep you in mind if I ever decide to part with it ; )

Good vid and history lesson CP.

  • I have to admit I just built a brand new 100% aftermarket cocker and while it looks more business than style the damn thing feels amazing and can stack paint like no other... QEVed too even though it is a mech... you get that POP CLACK PSST with each pull...

  • Get up a vid of the old girl. It sounds like quite a nice marker. I'm soon to build my own pump gun from an '02 cocker with a slider frame.

  • ill trade you my soul for that

  • msg me back plz i need to no if the autococker shocktech evolution can run on co2 plz

  • any autococker can run on CO2 regardless of make or model... You can run CO2 through an eblade as well but you may mess up the solenoid... still I have seen them run perfectly fine on straight CO2 so to answer your question any mech cocker at all can run on CO2 perfectly fine.

  • your camera's auto-focusing is ridiculous!

    haha

    and yet another great video!!!

  • what is milling?

  • young'ns shit'n their pants lol

  • thanks for the vid...

i've been playing for 10 years and my favorite gun is still my 99 mini cocker...

  • There's a revenge on MCB.

  • holy crap! i have the same revy w/ the same aka sticker in the same place, thats awesome :)

  • you're my hero....

    like really...

i just shit my pants watching you play with that

    nice videos btw

  • LOL i know what you mean... i want a cocker but i also now technically it's a waste of money, but i love the feel of them, and i love the 2 separate soudns you get b/c of your pull.

  • im more scared of a person with a cocker than an ego. Usually because the guy with the cocker is an oldtimer or good player that doesnt need any of the fancy epneus

  • I bought my first autococker brand new in 1999. Back then the autococker was king. Everybody made customs and parts and had tricky splash annodizing. They had a character that drew people to them. I have owned five since and still have my old 99. Now they are relics but to me they will always be on top. And the sound they make still makes newbies cringe.

  • I know what you mean. Me and my bud played woodsball last summer and I used my pimp'd out cocker to save paint, and he had his Ego6. The newbies weren't all that scared by his Ego shooting at 15, but me cranking out 9-10 on my cocker nearly made them shit their pants. I think it's the sound of the back block/bolt and the switching of the air in the 3-way. More sounds makes them think they're going faster I guess...

  • i want ur trigger =]

  • MANN I WANTS A MERLIN

  • Sorry, but you just sounded insane right there. LMFAO.

  • hey jordan...i was wonderin if you can tell me how to get a picture for my profile off the web cause i cant figure it out

  • your cockers go "shug shoog shgug shoog shhug"?

    mine go "pisht. pisht."

    then my tippy goes "katink"

  • WOOHOO Cockers. I have a 2001 vert feed WGP cocker and it still shoots like butter, but has a lot of Characture. Still has the stock ram because of what you said, No point replacing the ram really, you can only physically pull that mechanical slide trigger so fast, but it's just so fun to shoot.

  • am i wrong or do u have a dye frame on tht posible ul?

  • nope, its an ANS quickfire.

  • I am buying warwitches revenge.

  • AGD Did the force feed loader. Can you give me some more information on this one?

  • indeed, the first force feed loader was the warp feed system. however, it was propitiatory to the automags, so the NPPL banned them because it would have given unfair advantage to any AGD sponsored or automag shooting teams back then.

less than a year later, pro teams products made an adapter that adapted the warp feed to fit any marker, and then force feed loaders were legalized under ALOT of pressure from air gun designs.

  • uhh umm uhh uhh uhhh uhm uhh uh um uhh

  • i always thought you were in a hotel room for your vids. idk why.

  • the new autocockers are shit they sold out over seas

  • wtf are you talking about that they're poorly designed and don't perform well autocockers are AMAZING!!!!1

  • he's talking about the new wgp guns...post karnivor auto-cockers are garbage. He's right

  • what i mean is that an optomised cocker can perfrom with the best guns made. a fully minied, microed, MQed cocker will shot on par or better than anything made.

however, there just arn't that many of those, and a gun like that has never been a factory gun. word on the street though is that MTX is installing MQs in the SR, from the factory.

anyway, most cockers are not the optimised gun that they need to be to be a top competitor.

and IMO there are much better electros and an electro cocker

  • Alright, well anyway I though you meant the overall operation was poorly designed, which I strongly disagree with. Yeah cockers have always been more of a gun that you have to put time and money into and personalize (which i love to do). I definitely understand what you were getting at now about the upgrades (although I hate mq valves because of the higher input psi required) but come on the Ego/Intimidator and DM weren't exactly designed in 1990. Its no wonder they shoot smoother.

  • Wtf is post karnivor supposed to mean? they made karni's in small amounts until the end of 07. That's getting pretty misunderstood...

What I THINK you mean is post 2004 WGP's, that's when they were bought out and started making shit overseas. I have a fully upp'd 04 Prostock, the last of the good WGP's...I think I know this better than most.

  • whates the best new autococker

  • i think JOLEs are nice, and i shot an SR, that performed well. kicked abit much for a 600 buck gun IMO, but an MQ valve would fix that for sure.

  • whate is the best autocoker on the market today for about 150-200

  • nice

  • woot first comment. good vid
