    VR,

    Dave

  • i think i just jizzed my pants

  • So i ask you weapons expert 1cme1...

what gun you bring to fight.

    That soviet made 5,45x39

    or Finnish made RK95 7,62x39

  • That is basic weapon in Finland. 7.62mm.... And soviets use them.

That is reason why we use it also. So we can get ammo from their dead soldier.

  • @lintu25 the russians do not use 7.62x51.

also, there are no soviets anymore. the soviet union has been dissolved since 1991.

  • @1cme1 I know they try to make high velocity riffles.

But can you tell me where they put all those 7,62mm bullets then?

    Remodified them? Destroyed them?

    plz tell me?

Do you know how many 7,62 bullets that country has made or weapons?

And suddenly they just vannish? U sure?

    Think about that for secound.

  • @lintu25 the soviets used the 7.62x39 not the 7.62x51, they're entirely different rounds and will not work in the same guns. since 1974 russia has been using the AK-74 as their primary service rifle, which fires the 5.45x39. the gun in this video is a 7.62x51, not the 7.62x39.

  • @1cme1 I think u dont know half what you are saying.

U talk a lot about this and that about 7,62mm.

Do you even know what that x51 or x39 mean ?

And Hey, soviet say their war agaist Finland was just little border skirmish.

    Soviets are full of shit.

  • @lintu25 x51 and x39 is the measurements of the casing of the round. the 7.62x51 has a much larger casing than the 7.62x39. they fire the same bullet, but one holds more powder than the other, and the overall shape is entirely different. do you understand? i am not a soviet, i dont care about finlands history with soviet russia, that has absolutely nothing to do with our conversation.

i would not bring either one of them into battle to fight, in a perfect world i would take a 6.8 AR platform.

  • Shape of bullet is kinda same like any other bullet.

That casing is what it is, thurst power to the tip. Smaller bullet with higher velosity

but wind and branches, etc little things make it less accuracy and less penetrationable. Bigger the is just opposite of that. In impact those bullets act very different. I would not take BB-gun to the war :)

  • @lintu25 we were never talking about which round was better.

  • i want one NOW!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Looks like you're getting a LOT of recoil out of those shots for an OBR. What load are you shooting?

  • @Dsparil666 Seriously why are you asking that you always get high recoil from 7.62

  • looks like you're getting a lot of recoil out of that for an OBR. What load are you shooting?

  • GREAT VIDEO, BUT IRON TARGET DON'T MOVE, HIDE AND MOST OF ALL DON'T SHOOT BACK... :-)

  • Nice to see a South-Paw on a product demonstration! I will be purchasing one of these precision instruments soon.

  • kill the bloody music,,we need to hear the gun

  • I am looking to build and or buy an AR15/AR10 308... I am a lefty with rifle and StagArms doesnt make one... I know that RRA has a lot of ambi controls but want something to work with Pmags for 308... Anyone know of anything like this? I like the LaRue but they dont have the ambi controls... Thanks for any help... Joe Tactical

  • looks like supressor is not optimal for night combat

  • Prick attitude..Yes! Great products...Yes!

  • Hard to beat the versatility of an AR platform chambered for 7.62 x .51, With BUIS and a QD mount in can emulate a CQB AR, especially with a 16 bbl.

    Sigh. Im in love again.

  • One bumper sticker said

    EXTREMELY RIGHTWING.

    The other said.

I support our troops, ecspecially our snipers, or something to that effect.

Anyhow, again, great product, speedy service, great, unexpected care package, and nice happy holidays card they sent in the mail during christmas also, I can't wait to purchase a LaRue Tactical 7.62, i just hope they make a California legal one, anyhow, God bless the United States of America, and thank you very much to LaRue Tactical!

  • @PUTMEONTHEREDLIST Indeed...

  • If I may chime in about LaRue Tactical, they are a very good company with a very awesome customer support, and very well built products... When my Tactical Quadrail 7" came in today, (keep in mind its all i ordered) They also sent a care package that included the following...

    A pocket Constituition/Declaration

A Armodillo seasoning bottle for some steaks

A Armodillo shaped tactical beverage entry tool :-) Lamens term, a beer opener

    A LaRue Hat

    and

2 bumper stickers that are funny

  • @PUTMEONTHEREDLIST That is very good to know... Thanks for taking the time to write this comment... It is things like that that make the extra money well worth it... They do indeed make some great gear...

  • Damn. Now I will have to speed up getting a suppressor on mine when it gets done.

  • That is a Surefire Suppressor.

  • I need one of those. When you want something bad enough it becomes necessary to own or your life ceases to be enjoyable.

  • @disturbedone5009 Very well said sir... I live by that as well...

  • I can't wait to get mine in a 16" config.

  • Is that an AAC silencer? ;)

  • Great Job Team LaRue, a exquisite weapon add to the LaRue collection. The OSR will definitely make its mark in the Top 10 .308 auto loaders. As a AR-10 owner I would have to say that I would definitely LOVE to add one to my collection.

    Again, Great Job Mark..............

  • Fan..Fucking..Tastic!!!

  • Had the chance to unload a mag through one of these rifles at a flock of pigs.

    Sweetness!

  • LaRue Perfection.....as usual. I do have to say it's pretty cool how you can start to see the Interior Structure of the can as the baffles heat up... I need about 5 shifts worth of OT so i can order one of these puppies.

  • damn i need to get out of college then get a job then buy me one of those

  • I am very interested in the 14.5" version of this bad boy :)

  • My Gemtech HVT with Bi-Lock mount does the same thing for the same reason... and so does my G5.

  • Like a Boss!

  • Outstanding!... Me Need OSR!

    NOW!

  • That's some cool stuff. That rifle is bad ass, not to mention the guy behind the trigger isn't too shabby either.

  • I'm the viewer number 308. AWESOME.

Great Video! too bad i'm not in the market for a rifle like that.

  • \m/

  • Wonder why the Surefire heats up in the middle first like that? Seems like it would heat up more towards the barrel or evenly. I have a YHM Phantom 7.62 suppressor Im going to have to get out my night vision and see if it heats up the same. Very nice work, as always, LaRue.

  • Comment removed

  • I'll tell you right now that the YHM gets just as hot, I am pretty sure just about any suppressor made out of this material will react about the same. No removing the suppressor with bare hands after firing!!

  • The stamp goes with the Ser # of the "can"... How are you getting the stamp, without knowing which can you are getting?

  • Comment removed

  • It's likely the first blast baffle that's taking the brunt of the flame/heat. Since the Surefire is a quick detach can, you have the lock, the flash hider/mount behind the "hot spot".

  • That is a good observation, maybe the Surefire quick connect flash hider is longer than the YHM's. The Phantom is also a quick detach, but the first baffle is just around 2" from the end. I will bet you just hit it on the head though, I think I remember seeing the surefire's flash hider and it being much longer. Thanks for clearing that up.

  • Dick Swan does not approve.

    ;-)

  • Good God, I lust for an OSR! Keep up the good work, Mark, and the whole crew at LaRue! =-)

  • That's awesome!

I live 'round the corner... do you offer a test drive?!

  • As a resident of California... all I can say is I WANT ONE!!! :P

  • 627

    :)

  • Now that's ART!!!!! Well done, Team LaRue!

  • Pure Awesomeness!

As with all things Larue, the OSR is a excellent piece of kit.

And this NV video shows why Titanium suppressors are usually what people who are knowledgeable about such things purchase. Metal spinning inside metal creates a little bit of Heat. :)

  • Oh my, I'll take 3.

  • AWESOME!

  • DO WANT

  • That NV footy is sick!

  • So, when can I expect my 18"? =)

  • I want a new president Mr. LaRue

  • Me too Mr. LaRue.

    I'll take a job :)

    ARFCOM thanks you

  • Sweet

  • I want a job Mr. LaRue!

  • badass, we need arfcom to do this as the next sebr special addition...

  • Love it.

  • ARFCOM says thanks for the vid!

  • Do you take lay-a-way.

  • damn, nice!!!

  • Nice! me likey.

  • GET SOME GRAVY!!!!!!!!!!

  • Viva Larue...

  • drool**

  • great product line... I'll be doing more Larue product reviews from our NV test site early next year. Just wish I had the opportunity for long term testing of the Tactical OSR in the high desert environment.

I'm sure the OSR will be a great weapons system. But I seem to prefer YHM to Surefire when it comes to a can. (I'm getting picky in my old age..lol)
