  • What type of box does the FDNY use for their Ambulances? My agency uses Medtec- Type 1, model PD-168f.

  • Hey! NewRiverValleyEMT :-) im pretty sure FDNY uses Horton Type 1 body

  • They were park on the street.under the fdr drive by the seaport lol thats my old bus alot of great memories lol.... Ambulances run out of stations but we dont stay there. We need to stay on city streets to reduce respone times

  • hi can anyone tell me what is the difference in new york between the ambulances with red on and the ambulances with blue on.

  • They are different "organisations" For example the one in the video above is an ambulance run by the the FDNY EMS. i think St. Lukes ambulances have a blue stripe down the side.

  • They're practically all Orange and look kinda ugly

  • @bosco1013 the only different is the company st. luke is orange with a blue logo on the side. and then the ones with the yellow and blue checkered are lenox hill hospital and then there is presperyain ones also.

  • haha nice cool vid

  • hahahaha awesome..... were they in there station or at a hospital?

  • Hi there, they were just parked under a flyover near Brooklyn Bridge.
