  • See, RF games, if you try and analyzed it, he likes to run around that 4hand to hit an inside out 4hand.

  • Gabe228 if you don't like this just don't watch it. And it's called FOOTBALL. Over in Amercia "Soccer" as you call it it's terrible!

  • wow. pat rafter guessed right!

    go rafter!

  • Roger Federer .Grand Slam Champion 15

    3 Titles Australian Open

    1 Titles Roland Garros

    6 Titles Wimbledon

    5 Titles US Open

    Career Grand Slam Complete

    21 Grand Slam Finals 1st

    237 Consecutive Weeks as 1st. .22 Straight Grand Slam Semi-Finals 1st

  • @federerbestclass Stupid wikipedia summary. We don't need it. Stop being annoying.

  • i hope Nadal gets back to this form before Australian Open 2010.

  • i believe rin roger will win clay!!!!!! @ Roland garros

  • it's a real pity to see people talk so much w/o a clue as to what they're really saying. there's a reason why you rarely see top 10 players over the age of 30 and that's b/c the cardiorespiratory fitness & strength of a human begins to decrease at around 30. so age Does matter, it's a scientific fact. i suggest you pick up a book instead of thoughtlessly commenting. that said, federer has 2.5 yrs to 30 so plenty of time for things to be interesting w/ more youngsters moving up.

  • well, i dont play much tennis.

but for soccer, people play until they are around 40. (unless they are seriously injured...)

for example, van der sar is like 37, but his reflex and reaction are still as fast as they were 10 years ago

  • you cant compare a goalkeeper and a top ten tennisplayer!

a goalkeeper doesnt need lots of stamina, fitness & strength, reflex and reaction compared to a worldclassplayer like federer!

do you think nadal is able to play his style until 40- its a bad joke!

  • dude, a pro goal keeper does need a good fitness. for example, u have to be able to reach stuff and run to the ball fast to catch it. reaction is much faster than in tennis (for example, penalty busters are known for their short reaction time)

and, not only goal keeper but mid fielders like zinedine zidane played soccer until he reached near 40.

Plus, in soccer, one is more likely to get injured

  • goalkeepers need experience...but for tennis, you need that explosive strength.

  • well, goalkeepers need lots of strength to jump that high and lots of force to kick the ball (or clearance)

  • hey

you know what, both balls travel at roughly same speed. (well, tennis goes over 100mph consistently, while soccer (football if u wanna call it) ball goes at 80-90 average.

    But:

    - Soccer ball curves A LOT more than tennis ball.

-Soccer balls are kicked like15m from the goal on average. most attacks (like of Barcelona), they are as close as 4-5 m from the goal. whie in tennis, the two baseliners would be, on average, roughly 25m from each other.

  • -in tennis, if the ball doesnt bounce, its out and you DONT have to get it. in soccer, the ball might go in the goal whether it bounces or not, so u DO have to get it. and remember, im talking about a goal that is 8 feet tall and 7.3m wide, almost as wide as tennis single court. again, keepers dont use rackets ;)

    - in tennis, you kno when players hit their balls. in soccer, goalies are sometimes surprised by shots that are out of no where, unexpected.

  • i was basically saying you cant compare football to tennis there comp, letely different

  • In both sports you need to react as soon as possible to be as effective as possible. One doesn't need faster reactions than the other. The faster your reactions are in either sport, the better.

  • oh but at the end of the day, football is a boring sport to watch compared to tennis.

  • damn straight :)

  • what the fuck are you talking about? lol the comparisions have no relations at all. That's as stupid as saying "in tennis players use a racquet, which are not biologically part of the human body, but soccer players use their feet, which are part of their body"

    fucking retarded

  • wow so stupid

  • all so tennis is alot faster than football and you dont just hit the ball theres the fotwork and such things also

  • you suck

  • RAFA IS JUST THE BEST

  • The French??? Are you drunk?

  • i think he wasnt drunk XD

  • @greatmya you are got owned like kyle and balls

  • what did i say great homomya

  • just a great final overall...

  • Yeah, and since Federer has played more than 700 games, and won in most of them, he would be having at least 550 grand slams or maybe even more. If you can not appreciate someone's hard work, the piss off. So what? Its hard to even win one grand slam. Tennis is not an easy game to play, so piss if you cant' aprreciate someone's work.

  • why should i apprceiate sum1 i dnt support....clown

  • DP7CR7 , your prejudice renders your opinion immaterial . I'm a rafa fan but i do acknowledge federer's achievements. Rafa's humility and humble attitude is a lesson for all of his fans and I humbly support Rafa. Too bad I can't learn anything from federer's attitude.

  • "why should i apprceiate sum1 i dnt support" ...you have so much to learn man

  • no-one does.

  • Hats off to Pat Rafter for being the only pundit that saw Nadal winning this. Everyone else assumed it was a lock in for Feds.

  • I cant believe the official ATP youtube could upload a video of such low quality. Its disgraceful.

  • Come on Rafa, one more slam next summer and you will win them all, VAMOS RAFA! VAMOS MATADOR!!

  • There is no crying in Tennis, just like there is no crying in Baseball.

  • Nadal kicked some serious butt!

  • now you can see that Nadal is all around not federer!

  • Nadal has done what Federer may never do. Win a singles major on hardcourts, grass and clay.

  • Federer has done what Nadal may never do. Winning 13 Grand Slam Titles

  • Nadal has done what Federer may never do. Having a positive record against your biggest rival

  • Nadal is 22 --> 6 Grand Slams titles won. When Federer was 22 - 2 Grand Slam titles won. When Nadal is 27 let's suppose he'll have won more than 14 :]

  • Well, thats just an speculation. It doesn't look like Federer is going to give up. Btw, WHY does age matter? Its more about the game, then the age. If people are fit and strong enough, and avoid injuries, they have a good chance of playing until 40. Its extremely rude to compare with ages that people over 35 are weak.

  • thats if someone doesnt show up to stop him before he can achieve that, like how fed was on the brink multple times before nadal stopped him. For all we know it could be Ryan Harrison that breaks sampras' record.

  • WHERE IS THE BALL ...?

  • thats what happens when there is no high quality option.

  • i can't believe all of those other videos got removed. EVERY ONE!!

  • Why did they do that?? I also can't find some videos anymore.. there are almost only videos of federers crying left from the final

  • Can hardly...see the ball. -.-
