@Thorsun I did a little viewing on the V1U it seems like ConsumerDV is saying that there is a pull down effect. I think it combines two frames as one rendering it as progressive as oposed to an independent frame.

Isn't 1080i 24p a contradiction? It's either interlaced or progressive. It can't be both.

You cannot wander the camera around when you are shooting 24p. Also, you had to remove pulldown to avoid nasty ghosting.
