@MsPandaNut You have to remeber that this was a reenactment, and even though what was shown was pretty much the way he described it, it still wasn't 100% accurate portrayal of how things actually went down; the woman in the redramatization looked as if she were in distress, but in real life, we don't know that she looked as if she were even in trouble. Hind sight is always 20/20, but at the time, he didn't think anything was out of the ordinary. I'm sure it haunts him now, though.

From what I despict from from the re-enactment and If this is how this guy Jeff really seen the Kimberly's position sitting down with her two arms tucked behind her back with a motionless face, it should have drawn a conclusion that she was possibly tied up and being held against her own will while going into shock from terrible fear or freight which would explain her lack of response. I wouldn't have neccessarily tried to play hero but would have at least followed up with authorities.

Update:
In the case of Kimberly Pandelios, justice has finally been served. Twelve years after Kimberlys disappearance, a convicted sex offender, David Rademaker, was arrested for her murder. Authorities tied Rademaker to Kimberly using phone records and were able to make the arrest, thanks to the testimony of a teenage girl he had been harassing. A judge sentenced Rademaker to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
