If we let Arpaio keep 287(g) in our jails then Maricopa County will be responsible for the lawsuits that will continue for wrongful deaths, broken bones, citizens held on ICE holds (more than you would think-many already documented and reported to DOJ) If the FED's do it-the County doesn't pick up the bill. Arpaio is a costly mistake. He behaves like a 3rd World Dictator. My County shouldn't have to pay the salaries or lawsuits.
Arpaio cannot even keep a valid accreditation in his jails.
