@FunnyCowboyDance This is not the original travelers routine exactly, while displaying the card that comes out of the left pocket and displaying it, the next ace is palmed by one hand top palm, here, amar uses a two hand top palm before taking the first card out with the boottom palmed cards, i agree the palms here take place at the wrong moment, and the procedure is a little off.
guys did david blaine do the three card monte?i know of his 2 card monte but im pretty sure ive seen him doin the 3 card monte..im lookin for it.aprecate if someone here can tell me or anyone who can upload this vid.thanks.
I love ammar. he is one of my idols in magic, but i must admit, he had the moves down flawless, but he lacked entertainment in this specific show. but overall, very nice!
i got the trick...though i couldn't ever do it...at least not without 2-3 day of intense practice...the hesitation makes part of the trick when he look in all the pockets he actualy take the aces from the pants pocket and put it in the upper pocket...preety hard to explain...
so you really think you can possibly do it like Ammar does it with just 2 or 3 days of practice? oops, i'm sorry, you said "intense" practice, my bad.....
Completely amazing!

@AugustinPeng Uh, no.
His pacing is off.
His palms, while executed extremely well, are executed at the entirely wrong moments.
He shuttles the deck from hand, seemingly without motivation to any degree.
That ploy for the last card kills the entire trick. It muddles up what should be a climactic ending. You look like a bungler.
Attempts at suspense come off as they what they really are--methodological necessities.
And last, but not least: "Hey Mikey, why are those cards so bent up?"

@FunnyCowboyDance that's Michael ammar for you though.
agree 100%

@AugustinPeng Although not all the blame should be placed on Ammar--those are faults with Vernon's construction as well.

Resmenae 4 years ago
That was a very nice palm for the 3rd card...it clicked hard, though.
Fbido 4 years ago
That wasn't a palm clicking, that was him snapping the card to show that it was single.
