@Rtleocc I think we tend to leave flowers and such as some sort of offering to where that person took their last breath. It can be a very spiritual thing for some people to see and visit the place where their loved one actually passed away, rather than a grave site where just the body had later been buried. I had a boyfriend who was killed on a motorcycle, and we did the same thing, ribbons and flowers and such against the telephone pole... Its pretty powerful being there where he left this life

This is ridiculous. The "speeding motorist" is so out of place in this video. All they did was incorporate an emotional cliche into their otherwise insipid portrayal of NOTHING. Congratulations for being unoriginal!

Then instead of being cautious, she just happens to cross without looking both ways and hey what do you know, she dies.

Amazing work. Just out of curiosity, why did the song need to be cut down? There's a missing verse around 2:46 where it's supposed to go into "Come on in...I've got to tell you what state I'm in" etc, but it just cuts to the chorus.
