  • This is a BIHU song and BIHU dance. It is folk dance of Assam,India. The orgin of Bangali and Assamese script is same, i.e. the Kamrupi script of 300AD. So the wahtever written in the back side seems similar to Bengali, but it is not same.

  • I am bengali (born to bengali parents- who actually were most of the part of Assam and their home in Bangladesh now) but emotionally, culturally and in true spirit belong to Assam . Thes songs resonate with our feelings and being just on the other side of the globe , brings tears to my eayes. I love Assam.I love Shillong . It is part of my very existence.

  • im love with this song now.. i got the rhythm and tone.. can anyone help me with the lyrics pls.. ???

  • i hate it when people tries to relate assamese with bangla ..similarity of language doesnt mean we are bengali ..our culture is diff ...and i request all you outsider dont call us assami whats that huh? It should be ASSAMESE or AXOMIYA Got it?

  • you shameless fellow! Earn some basic knowledge about language. have you ever seen any bangali danching BIHU? if this video titles as bihu then how you dare to relate it with bangali?

  • This Song belongs to Assam & Assami Langauge is very Nearer to Bangali.

  • @Uday2310 Why you compare assamese to Bangali? Assamese is totally different with Bangali. In language, and tradition...... Read assam history is you confused....

  • where is this song from...which country...tht i can see on the board its bangla write on the board...plzzz answer...

  • @karro1 its not bangla, its assamese the language of assam... got it ... not bangla

  • What is "Junbai"?

  • Hey Bora ki hoise. Enekua na kobi re. Ih Manu na jaane Junbai ki hoye, Beya na pai de.

    Avi Singh

  • Okay, not bad

  • assamese touch

  • Thanks for posting this video. This is one of my favourite Bihu song!! Great dancing too

  • excellent songs

  • wot r they saying ? is this bangla ???? wot they mean by word "lahore" ???? is it lahore city in pakistan ???

  • They are singing in Assamese, "Lahori" is an Assamese word, nothing to do with Lahore/Pakistan.

  • what does lahori mean? I've heard it in the song, Agoli Bahore gogona bojau.. what does it mean???

  • Lahori means "darling" or dearest. Agoli bahore gogona bojau- this phrase means "I am playing a gogona -an instrument made of young stem end of the bamboo."

  • tnx so much! :-)

  • Coool performance !
